    Looks delicious I would add chopped sugar snap peas. And for the dressing I would add sesame oil 😀

    Thank you for your question, Katrina. If you can't find rice wine vinegar, we'd recommend using regular white wine vinegar as a substitution. Rice wine vinegar tends to be a bit more mild, so you might want to reduce the amount of wine vinegar you'll use. Enjoy!

    This is a really good video because it gives you the recipe and nothing else. So many other recipe videos like to add extra information that you just don't need.

    I think the addition of noodles to this can make a lovely dish called peanut noodle salad, either freshly boiled noodles or the crispy noodles

    I would make this slaw and top it with grilled chicken satay. Maybe a step further buy Boston or Butter lettuce and make it into wraps. So healthy and good just add cucumber diced into the mix if you want. Bon Appetit!😀

    peel your ginger with the side of a spoon, it's much safer. i wouldn't mince either the garlic or the ginger, i'd just grate fine. looks good. will make soon.

    This looks sooo good. But it has 2 things i just do not like, cilantro and ginger. To me cilantro tastes like soap and ginger like perfume, lol. I will make it and just omit those 2. I will use fresh parsley in place of cilantro.

    @Allrecipes can i make big quantity of the dressing and store it then use it when needed or it will go off?

    • @allrecipes
      @allrecipes  8 лет назад +1

      Thanks for your question, Emad Al Amad. It's tricky to figure out the shelf life of a lot of foods. The key is the acidity of the dressing. The more acidic the better, because this keeps bacteria from growing. You'll be fine if you mix together all the liquid ingredients of this salad dressing, and then stir in the raw garlic and ginger when you're ready to use the dressing. Those are the two ingredients that could spoil if the dressing is left out at room temperature for any length of time. You might also mix everything and store it in the fridge--or adapt the recipe to use garlic powder and ginger? Let us know how it works out.

      You don't need to, Mahmud Hassan. There is a dressing included with this coleslaw salad. It's Asian-style, but if you want a traditional dressing, go ahead and substitute the dressing you like.

    • @allrecipes
      @allrecipes  10 лет назад +1

      Thanks for your question, zandra grace penrad. You may substitute regular white vinegar for rice wine vinegar in this recipe. The taste will be slightly more acidic and lack the mild sweetness found with Chinese or Japanese rice vinegar, but it will work well enough. Happy cooking!
