Also note that as you go from cows to a common ancestor to primates to monkeys and apes to humans, both the percentage of protein and the casein/whey ratio dropped at every step you take on that chain. casein becomes casomorphin in the body - a drug used for bonding infants to their mothers.

It optionally heats the milk (for the types that need heat processing), blends it, and then you strain the pulp through a fine mesh sieve. Pulps can be repurposed in other recipes or composted. Cleanup is simple with hot water and a good scrub. The process for stovetop is relatively simple as well. It was a new healthy habit I adopted and have gotten used to. Of course these milks aren't fortified, but there's no packaging waste or additives either, and $0.36 for a quart of organic soymilk can't be beat (I buy in bulk). Soy and pea milk are great for protein, sesame is great for calcium. If one wants some fat, it's simple to add some cashews, walnuts, or coconut shreds.

You're also perpetuating the massive RUclips, anti-nutrition "influencer" conspiracy theory that seed oils are inherently dangerous. They are not. In and among themselves, seed oils are nutritionally neutral, and when compared to the saturated fat found in animal products including dairy, are much healthier. I try to link to other RUclips videos but RUclips invariably deletes my comments with such links (does this make any sense?)...but Chris MacAskil of the Plant Chompers channel did a deep, two-video dive into the truth about seed oils. The actual overwhelming preponderance of evidence says that seed oils like Canola are not unhealthy, unless of course you're abusing them and overheating and overusing them. While you may think Plant Chompers is biased, MacAskil is one of the least biased RUclips nutrition influencers I have come across...even less biased than Dr. Greger here.

@@yoginasser305 I'm no expert, but lactose doesn't seem to do anyone any nutritional favors. If you can't digest it, then what's the point? Of course our bodies can't digest insoluble fiber either, but the good bacteria in our guts can and that's why it's important. Lactose is more likely to mess up our gut microbiomes. Dietary cholesterol is a different, complicated subject. For one, humans are all over the scale as to how much dietary cholesterol is absorbed by the body. Some people absorb a lot of the cholesterol they eat, some very little...and everywhere in between. If you're a lucky one and have the right genetics, eating cholesterol isn't going to hurt you. But if you're on the other end of the spectrum, you're going to push up your LDL if you consume too much cholesterol. As as I've said, for everyone, consuming too much saturated fat will likely lead to increased LDL in your body.
