Yes...he's best as a running half back ala Grant Birchall but he is so versatile. Great pick up and he loves playing on the Brown and Gold #23. He'll never leave.

Yep, and by the time the Tassie Devils come in these lads would've played at least 50-100 games together. That's the window of success. A new AFL team drains the draft meaning.less new blood to go around and they'll be looking for more established players as well as draftees. Advantage Hawthorn. Plus...keep winning the tough games, playing exciting footy, and we become a destination club. Look at how much fun our players have after a win with their onfield photos and social media. We'll land a big trade fish soon and tear the comp apart.
@@smlreupload3906 When we got rid of Tom Mitchell and O’Merra end of 2022. We officially went on a full rebuild mode.. Going down to playing the kids and hitting the draft.
Between 2019-2022 we were in kinda a somewhat of a rebuild.

Said this already, but that 4th quarter was brilliant. Hoks went beast mode. Had no business playing like that against a team that had a week off. These Hawks are a team that play for one another. Huge win. Don't want to single anyone out, but Weddle is a superstar.

U don’t know everything
The fact he'd never played Ruck before yet took the big fella Briggs on was superb. When you lose a ruckman you expect a big forward ala Chol to go there but Weddle added an extra 'mobile' body at the fall of the ball and that was very clever. I do wish he'd clunked a few of his marking attempts on this game. He dropped four very easy, uncontested marks. Just one of those days.

Horrible umpiring that free against Frost the player was clearly holding frost=goal. The ginnivan free against him he was tackled head high seconds before=goal at least they gave us the last free !
Unfortunately Ginny played on. Should've given it off straight away but held on too long. He had a very average game by his standards. So did Dildo. Not awful but not great and no scoreboard pressure. The 2.7 score line at the half was awful. Six of those behinds were set shots. Lots of goal kicking practice this week methinks.

she was awful mistaking players names regularly and dermie was a shocker as well bagging every free the hawks got even after the siren!
She's not great but Derm is awesome and unbiased which I really like about his commentary.

I loved the ability, during the third quarter to grind the GWS down with clever kicking and goid use of the ball I50. Hard running to make an option for the Hawthorn player with the ball in hand. The dinky 'too close' handball and the 'kicmong to aan standing still' can get thrown out of the pkaybook. Too often the Hawks player standing on his heels is jumped over ny an opponent at full tilt. We do it far too often and turn overs from these are usually at or around our forward flank resulting in fwd 50 entries for our opposition. And...can we put the 'around the corner kock for goal' back in tje bag until our boys acrually jeed to kock it around the bloody corner!?! Didlo missed a lay certain goal on the forst quarter from fifteen metrws out, almost dead in front using one of these pathetic kocks. They drop short...its the nature of the kick woth the ball spinnong forwards it drops quicker than expected. Put that away and leave them to Punky and Gunston. They've earned the right to kick for goal however they like. Dildo, Ginny, Calsher, CMac....just steady on and get the drop punts right first. I hope Dunstall is roasting you lads who miss. Geez, can we buy a fit ruckman?!? Its been our main problem for years. Noodle is awesome when he's on the field. Meeky is a monster amd I love him but if we go into a game wirh a ruclman carrying an injury maybe select Ramsden in the squad to at least get some more exposure at AFL level. Jist a thought. Weddle did well but was soundly beaten at the ruck duels.

The game was extraordinary, close, intense and fun, both teams where looking for a win and especially in Tassie hawks play such close games. Im just glad we got the win hoping to win next week at the g against the tigers “GO HOKS”🤎💛
Next week will be tough. DUSTY playing his 300th. The tigers will there in their tens of thousands and hell he up and firing. We need to make every shot at goal count and put the game away as early as possible or the Tigers, with their 'Tiger Army' will roar home. We have to have it won by half way through the final quarter...I'm thinking at least 35 pts up and dominating. The Tigers will give their all to win for such a club great.

It helps when his teammates aren’t trying to stick their fingers in his butt.
And isn't he looking as relaxed as ever. He loves playing with the Hawks. He has a young fella like Calsher Dear who can jump and mark just about anything and old father time in Gunston down forward with him most of the day. Just play your natural game Mabior. We, the Hawks faithful, love it. His mark early was superb!
Calshers hand are great for his age. But he needs to pop them away in and open goal square. But I like his work and he keeps fronting up. We have depth now pressure for spots is definitely on in all areas of the ground.

He misses too many easy shots close and sprays the ones from 45-50m. But, if he keeps taking those tough 'pack marks' and having those shots something will click, he'll go bananas and kick a big bag. His presence in our fwd line means teams cannot ignore him. This way Gunny, Mabior and Breust take a toll.
Trust me boys cash will be a gun! He played under 9s then stopped! Played basketball then played last year yo get drafted!!!! Do you understand how serious a talent he is! Mid last year it was said this kid is a freak! The marks he was taking over and over and over! So he played 2 seasons of footy in his whole life and is now in afl firsts! He is a serious talent just needs to work on his kicking and it will come its in his blood! Key forwards take time how many 18 year old key forwards in comp are guns???? None! But if i had to say who looks like a star in the making it would be cash! Just give him 2 years ! $CASH🤎💛

To be honest, the win was great and all. Hawks are the best! However, I cannot get off the fact that for the entire game, we constantly booed the opposition, some of them was literally only because of the fact that we didn’t want them to score. It’s just ridiculous. It shows that as a community, we need to improve. It tells literally everyone what bad supporters we are, which ends up impacting the players. This is literally just by the fact that we keep booing the opposition team. I cannot stand it. Overall, amazing game. Great win, love to see a bit of controversy that goes our way in the end. 😉 Dark Horses for the finals! GO GO GO!

Yeah the booing wasn't something I noticed too much but maybe there were times. I think they booed when the Toby Greene goal wasn't reviewed as Day was certain he touched it. They booed the high hit on Ginny...not sure I noticed much else. Other than the two 'out of bounds, deliberate' which were total crap. I might keep my ear open for it when I watch it next.
