I've got an Ender 5+ that I was planning to make full helmets and armour pieces with, but in the almost 2 months I've owned it, I've had seized bearings, a failed print that oozed the plastic around the nozzle and heating block and a stepper driver that died on the main board that I had to replace with a SKR mini E3 V2 and now I'm waiting for the screen that's compatible with the new board as the stock one is not.... fun
Wow that sounds like some massive amount problems in your first couple of months. How disappointing as it's a really fun hobby. Hope you can get your issues sorted soon and would love to hear what you are making. Will probably look at getting a second, bigger printer down the track to be able to print helmets in one shot. Have been looking at the CR-10s at this stage but we will see.
