I get chills every single time I watch this just because of the sheer performance they put on the floor. They are so sassy and energetic every single time they go on the floor. When C5 won Worlds in 2015, it was the same thing. They always outperform any other team in their division! I love this team.
All the ECE teams had a lot of energy, positive vibes and all that, I went against a couple teams of theirs at a couple comps and they where really Hyped and energetic when they hit the floor!
In my opinion this may be the best performance at World's 2017. In any division. (Besides GT Chrome), but I just have a special place in my heart for GT. Way to go Bombshells!! (:
ECE was EXTREMELY smart in having all their former 2015 world campion girls moved onto this team. They dominated a division where the "extras" are placed (as in girls who somewhat have level 5 skills, A-team, LJ). ECE Bombshells TRULY had level 5 athletes. Unfortunately, this left their Medium Coed team to suffer with amazing boy athletes but very few girl ones. If you check a lot of their bios on any social media, it now says 2x World Champ. Congrats ECE on dominating this division!
They realized that Med. AG is a lot easier to win in than Med. Co, so they took advantage of a great opportunity. They completely dominated everyone else, and had a true level 5 routine, like you said!
I don't think they believed that Med was a lot easier to win, all divisions are balls to the wall tough.. I think the girls at ECE dominated the gym. The talent from the females outweighed the males, the girls carry the program. I think it was smart and fair.. Clearly.. World Champions..
I truly think they believed Med 5 was the 'easiest' division and putting all their best athletes in one division really made it all work. Think about it.
Overall, Medium Senior is notoriously an easier division than Medium Coed. I think C5 totally deserved to win in 2015, but it's a lot harder to win in that division. They've basically had the same times win since the division was created, and Medium Senior has had a different team win every single year, besides Orange winning in 2013 and 2015. Their boys are very talented, but it's more challenging to win as a coed team in most divisions. So it's pretty obvious they made M5 better by putting those who had been on C5 previously to be more competitive in an easier division. Either way, M5 completely deserved to win Worlds. They were the most talented team by a long shot.
Sedd well like I said almost all these girls were on c5 in 2015 when the won gold but broke apart to try and win in all girl ;) and they did but to answer ur question yes c5 did great at world's they hit both days I'm sure they just didn't place as well. we had 6 teams from our program go to worlds and our small all girl got 5th in the world
M5 is not a first year team by any stretch.. They've been around for at least 5 years now.. But it is true that a lot of the C5 girls went to M5 for last year's season
