Countdown timer in PowerPoint without add-ins

Using a timer is useful in teaching or running workshops or other PowerPoint cases, but there is no built-in feature so I go through a couple of hacks using just shapes and animations to make this doable without add-ins that can sometimes be clunky or inaccessible to many in large companies.
In the video I show you can only do up to 1 minute but with this you can make it up to 10 minutes.
1. Open the animation pane then
2. Right click on the object from the animation pane
3. Click timings & in “duration”, the dropdown list of timings shows only up to 20 seconds but you can type in “120” for 120 seconds ie 2 minutes or anything up to 600 for 10 minutes!
