I love listening to the sounds of this car! I'm totally blind and typing with a laptop using a screen reader. One of my friends has a 2009 model of this thing, and these things really burn rubber if you really want it to!
Have the exact same car and both my passenger floor wells fill up with water when it rains, its so inconvenient to try and avoid driving in the rain and keeping the cover on it constantly.. theres been a lot of work done to flush n teat the sunroof drain holes, but alas, she still floods:( any tips or ideas where to get tips would be praised
I feel you on the missing the GXP. I jus sold mine earlier this winter. I do miss it, but you're making love the impala ss more. I live in northern Minnesota so i saw you posted it for sale. Im very tempted.
It's your wiring harness to the ABS sensors which fucks up the traction control at the same time, it cost me 600 bucks to get to that cheap and simple fix (2 wheel hubs later)
I agree my car has the same problem, its like a 40 dollar part and easy fix and i was about to spend alot of money till i saw the wiring harness that goes underneath was ripped
@@jdyblvccsheep6577 no mods. Replaced the Harmonic Damper on the crank about a year ago at 140k miles. Other than that just regular maintenance. In 2026 I will retire the car due to rust.
I LOVE THESE CARS, I got my 06 ss for only $600 because the guy couldn’t figure out the trotted body issue and I fixed it for cheap and this thing runs and drives like a dream. Never realized how cool they are
Check outter tie rod or wheel bearing. Mabe you have . I hada 08/9 whatever it was with 20k miles In 17 n I loved it. Now I have 13 Ltz still love it. Better on gas and same hp different trans. But ss sounds so sexy. I want one again. Totaled it when I was 18. I was okay but it was donezo

I don't think the GXP suspension works with the ISS or the Monte. I could be wrong but seek out LS4 Nation and ask away. Your prob already associated with them on FB.
Damn over 30 on the highway? My 06 3.9L V6 monte got 29 and my old 03 monte ss with the 3.8L V6 got 30. My 03 is gone now but still have the 06. But it has a caliper that doesnt fully release so lately I've only been getting 24-26 highway. I'm guessing you still have the DOD cylinder deactivation?

The GXP and the Buick Super Bilstein struts will work on the SS. The SS should of had Bilsteins from Factory!

Great car. Love my 2009. It’s good around town but on the highway it really shines. Solid suspension and great power make this car.
