Mason Miller is such a stud closer. Easily the best player on the A's and it's not even close. I know the plan is to let him close this year and make him a starter in 2025 but I think he should just remain a closer. He has a chance at becoming the best closer in baseball over the next few years
He'll have two tommy johns before 30 if he becomes a starter. Limited pitching is what he should remain doing, and hopefully he gets paid what he deserves so he's convinced to do so. I'm just not sure as an As fan we will do that. He'll probably fly away.

I'm speechless with the 1st inning. We had base loaded with no out, and some how Yanks managed to blow it with no run. And we also threw the only chance the A's gave us to win this game.

I am getting flashbacks of the atrocious 2023 yankees lineup. This goes beyond just this game. It is inexcusable for the yankees to have a .239 team average. They also are the 16th ranked scoring. The yankees have the 2nd ranked team pitching with a very impressive 2.95 ERA. The pitching is carrying the Yankees this season.

I believe this is the worst game this season with Yankees wasting opportunities with runners on base, and Wood just made them look extremely pitiful. Edit: I just realized I forgot to say this too, Yankees+bases loaded=double play

You just need to realize the team isn’t good. Stanton contract is a disaster. Judge strikes out too much. No clutch players other than Soto.

Judge just can't get over the mendoza line still hitting .180 he gave it a ride in the ninth inning but way short. This would'nt happaned a couple years ago when Aaron Juice was on the roids.
