Genuine question but can someone watch this and still believe in a triune co-equal God? I enjoyed the part that because he is the "image of", he is, therefore, a seperate entity. That's exactly what the bible says of Jesus. Col1:15 KJV "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:" HE IS THE IMAGE... as Sam mentions, a copy of the original... as in, not the original. What about Saul? He had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ that totally changed his ministry. He became the apostle to the Gentiles and his name was changed to Paul. He received (from Jesus Christ) the revelation of a Mystery, this was information that was never known before. Most of what Paul received wasn't in the OT that's why it was called a Mystery, it was a revelation given to him and not found in the prophetic scriptures. It was not the OT revealed in the NT.

I was curious of this statement as I saw in video for Christian Prince some tieing Melchidrezik with Jesus… I am not denying what Sam is saying, he is more learned than me …still on my own journey to reaffirm my faith in Christ. But what blew me away was in Genesis 15 “the word of the lord” appears to Abram in a dream, and tells him of the future people of Israel. This is after meeting Melchizedek in Genesis 14. But for me it reaffirms the passage in John 8: 56 “ Your father abraham, rejoiced to see the time of my coming: he saw it and was glad”

It really is that easy brother. Melchizedek as explained in Genesis and Hebrews, there really isn’t any other explanation that makes sense other than Melchizedek being The Holy Spirit. It’s seriously refreshing seeing someone explain this in depth as I couldn’t understand why so many fellow believers have so much trouble with identifying who he is even while having so little information on him. brilliant exegesis Sam. One other very interesting aspect of Psalm 109/110. Is that Christ took the "Oath of Swearing" before Caiaphus which compelled him to speak truth if he knew the Truth. Interesting. I know that the High Priest was not allowed to tear his Holy Garment. In time of mourning, he could only tear his garment a little from the bottom up. When he tore his garment from the top down, he committed a grave sin because it was a Holy garment. Jesus’ Garment was perfect because it was seamless. Yes, Melkichisedek is Jesus. I did the research on this Priest of Priest in the Old Testament and I was surprised on how Jesus has always been there. Specially when he appears to Moses, The Angel of Jehova!! and this is only one of his multiples appearances. This Priest system is the Main one from Heaven. The physical priest System was giving to Aaron for the Physical Law System that it was written on the stone. Only for Jesus the accomplished and finished the Physical Law. Now by walking in the spirit, Faith on Jesus Christ, we enter heaven through spiritual priest system, Jesus. Hallelujah!! This is crazy how perfect God’s plan is since the beginning.

Good afternoon. My son and I were talking about if Jesus was Melchizedek about 2 years ago in my backyard. As we were talking a bright light shon about 5 metres away and Melchizedek appeared to me. He was looking towards Heaven and he had total peace surrounding him and in him (If you have ever felt heavenly peace you know what I’m talking about). He was wearing a long beige or white royal looking gown (similar to catholic bishops etc) and there were large coloured precious stones all over it. This appearance is among many God has revealed to me. I’m humbled and I thank Jesus for all His love, healings, visions and dreams that He continues to give me. Keep praying everyone. Jesus Christ was never called Melchizedek. And if Jesus reveled Himself to you, it would be as Jesus Christ, not an old testament version of Himself. You yourself even said that he said, "Christ sits at the right side of "THE THRONE." The throne is ONE throne, not two. And sitting at the "right side of God" (Col-3:1) is the same as sitting at the right side of the throne since the Father is on the one throne and Christ is beside it on the right. It's so obvious! Melchizedek is Shem known by typology connected into the sacraments. Noahs flood is a type of baptism and Melchizedek's bread and wine a type of the Eucharist. Both episodes of Noah blessing Shem and Melchizedek blessing Abraham must interconnect by types and sacraments. Noah blesses Shem so Melchizedek blesses Abraham, therefore Melchizedek is Shem granted the title of Melchizedek.

He had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ that totally changed his ministry. He became the apostle to the Gentiles and his name was changed to Paul. He received (from Jesus Christ) the revelation of a Mystery, this was information that was never known before.
Most of what Paul received wasn't in the OT that's why it was called a Mystery, it was a revelation given to him and not found in the prophetic scriptures.
It was not the OT revealed in the NT.

I was curious of this statement as I saw in video for Christian Prince some tieing Melchidrezik with Jesus… I am not denying what Sam is saying, he is more learned than me …still on my own journey to reaffirm my faith in Christ. But what blew me away was in Genesis 15 “the word of the lord” appears to Abram in a dream, and tells him of the future people of Israel. This is after meeting Melchizedek in Genesis 14. But for me it reaffirms the passage in John 8: 56 “ Your father abraham, rejoiced to see the time of my coming: he saw it and was glad”
What he's saying is Mel ... is foreshadowing .. who the Messiah and Mel's either a Man blessed by God ...or ... Holy Spirit taking the form of the Messiah to come (Jesus) but he's definitely NOT Jesus as there is only one High Priest & King in Heaven/
The Holy Spirit ... is everywhere ... including in Heaven where the Father & Son are .. and can take multiple forms at the the same time.
In Genesis 18 ... Abraham saw God (Father, Son, Spirit) as three Men .. and ... he spoke to the Father when the Men were together ... then .... spake to God (Spirit) in another form ... watching the three Men (God) leaving. One of those three Men ... was the Holy Spirit ... being watched leaving ... by Abraham & God (Spirit).
So Mel is either a good Man ... or ... Holy Spirit. Personally, I want Him to be the Spirit ... as Genesis 15 ... has the Word of God speaking to Abraham .. then the next Chapter the Angel of God saves Hagar. So these two chapters the Angel of God ... is not an actual Angel ... but the Word or Messenger of God ... and is God.

God obviously knows how sinful a city is .. and doesn't need to take the form of a man and walk to the city to find out. Genesis 18 & 19 ... compares Godly Abraham ... to ... ungodly Lot. It also tells us God (Spirit) is usually on the Earth calling down fire & brimestone ... from God in Heaven.
Again. Before Jesus was born 1 Nisan 6 BC .... the Son of God ... in the Torah ... was only in the future ... and there was only God, Angel of God and Spirit of God.
So now were go back to Abraham speaking to Mel ... who clearly represents or foreshadows the coming Messiah, a priest & king and God.
Just as Sam said .. he's either a "good" Man or ... Holy Spirit.
The Angel of God ... was clearly identified as God ... in Genesis & Exodus ... and other than one of the Three Men Abraham saw as God ... He never was consider God's Son or the Messiah. He was simply God.

What makes God almighty, all present and all knowing is the Holy Spirit. But He is not God the Father or God the Son. He is still God.
It simply makes sense the Holy Spirit .. would give us a sample of the coming Messiah ... rather than the Angel of God doing it. It really is that easy brother. Melchizedek as explained in Genesis and Hebrews, there really isn’t any other explanation that makes sense other than Melchizedek being The Holy Spirit. It’s seriously refreshing seeing someone explain this in depth as I couldn’t understand why so many fellow believers have so much trouble with identifying who he is even while having so little information on him. brilliant exegesis Sam. One other very interesting aspect of Psalm 109/110. Is that Christ took the "Oath of Swearing" before Caiaphus which compelled him to speak truth if he knew the Truth. Then Christ quoted from this Psalm saying you will see me seated at the right hand of the Father, then Caiaphus said you blaspheme and he tore his priestly garment while Christ priestly garment remained intact. Interesting. I know that the High Priest was not allowed to tear his Holy Garment. In time of mourning, he could only tear his garment a little from the bottom up. When he tore his garment from the top down, he committed a grave sin because it was a Holy garment.
Jesus’ Garment was perfect because it was seamless. So when the soldiers threw lots for his garments, they didn’t tear it because it was seamless and worth much money.
Caiaphas was a (high priestly puppet) inserted by the romans. John the baptist was the true High Priest at that time. His lineage can be traced back to Aaron. Hence why he was able to to identify Jesus as the true lamb of God (a lamb without spot wrinkle or blemish) who would take away sin of the world. When Jesus was put under the oath of the voice of swearing he had to say who he was. Jesus basically said this, I am equal with God (Ps 110) .... Caiaphas didn't accept this and tore his high priestly garment, bellowing out "blasphemy". The tearing of the high priestly garment also brought a curse on the whole nation. The order of the high priesthood transitioned when John the baptist baptised Jesus in the Jordan River. This was how the new high priest would basically take over from the previous highpriest. When John the baptist baptised Jesus in the Jordan river the transition, this time, was from the order of the natural Aaronic priesthood (or natural observance of Torah) to the Melchizedek order (Christ or a spiritual understanding and observance of the Torah).

Yes, Melkichisedek is Jesus. I did the research on this Priest of Priest in the Old Testament and I was surprised on how Jesus has always been there. Specially when he appears to Moses, The Angel of Jehova!! and this is only one of his multiples appearances. This Priest system is the Main one from Heaven. The physical priest System was giving to Aaron for the Physical Law System that it was written on the stone. Only for Jesus the accomplished and finished the Physical Law. My dad use to tell me this this when I was a kid. Long time ago. Never heard it anywhere else.
Good afternoon. My son and I were talking about if Jesus was Melchizedek about 2 years ago in my backyard. As we were talking a bright light shon about 5 metres away and Melchizedek appeared to me. He was looking towards Heaven and he had total peace surrounding him and in him (If you have ever felt heavenly peace you know what I’m talking about). He was wearing a long beige or white royal looking gown (similar to catholic bishops etc) and there were large coloured precious stones all over it. This appearance is among many God has revealed to me. I’m humbled and I thank Jesus for all His love, healings, visions and dreams that He continues to give me.

Jesus Christ was never called Melchizedek. And if Jesus reveled Himself to you, it would be as Jesus Christ, not an old testament version of Himself. Read the book of Acts how Saul saw Jesus reveal Himself, and how Peter and the other disciples saw Him by the lake. As Jesus Christ, not Melchizedek. It'd written in the book of Romans that if you confess with your mouth "Jeusus is Lord", and believe He died on the cross and God rose Him up after 3 days then you'll be saved. It does not say confess Melchizedek as Lord, and it also says anyone who does not confess JESUS as Lord has the spirit of the antichrist. It does NOT say melchizedek. Genesis 14: Abraham paid tithes of all the spoils he got after his victory over the 5 heathen kings. The king of Sodom wanted him to sacrifice souls to him, if he wanted to keep the spoils. Abraham refused and told him where he go with the spoils, and he left defeated like Jesus did in Matthew 4.
God was pleased with him. Melchizedeck came and brought bread and wine- not empty handed.
Abraham responded and gave tithes of each item he got as a sign that he recognized God as his Helper and Provider. It was a two- way covenant which covered everyone of his descendants, as this action proved his faith in God and not in goods.
Later, he obeyed God and proceeded to sacrifice his promised son as a sacrifice for only his generations, God replaced him with a ram, until the appointed time when the Son of God will be the sacrifice for the whole world.
The generations of the promised Seed became slaves in Egypt. The blood of a Lamb for each obedient household redeemed their firstborns and they were spared from the angel of death that killed all other firstborns.
The generation of Abraham- Israel rejected God and would rather listen to Moses Exodus 19.
The blood covering was removed and all previously spared firstborn were exposed and they had to die because they were dedicated to God.
God chose Levi as His firstborn, and they were consecrated. In order for them to perform their services without errors, they were excluded from getting any inheritance that may later become a distraction. He already got it all in His Son, and the Holy Spirit leads us because he works in us both to will, and to do, of His good pleasure. We only need to listen to and be obedient to His leading. Then, He gets all the glory!
Are you saying that when you tithe is wrong today? Or your tithe go one sided that God does not return its blessings to you the tither? Do you know that Jesus Christ did not condemn tithe in the new testiment? Your points on other things are right but some not accurately stated that's why I pick up on tithe, please do a bible study on it again and you will see it. Apostle Paul can't take the tithe of a church to Jerusalem because it is for the church that had it's members do your obedience and leave God to be the judge of the pastors who take them tithes if they handle it which way its up to them and God and God will bless you.

The advent of Jesus Christ was not part of God's previous dealing with Israel.
He came to establish the "acceptable year of the Lord," Luke 4:17-20, which extended to to the Gentiles when He had to be crucified John 12:32. We're still in this Era, but it's fast closing, to usher in the "day of vengeance of our God ".
The law and the prophets were not in effect, during His ministry, that was why He showed the people what keeping the sabbath meant while He was around- He was the Lord of the sabbath!

Both episodes of Noah blessing Shem and Melchizedek blessing Abraham must interconnect by types and sacraments. Noah blesses Shem so Melchizedek blesses Abraham, therefore Melchizedek is Shem granted the title of Melchizedek.
Melchizedek cannot be Shem according to his description in Hebrews 7:3. Shem had a father and mother and a beginning.

I have always believed this to be descriptive of Jesus. The “Priest of the Most High” and “Righteous” = Jesus. We get our righteousness from Jesus. No other conclusion can be drawn from this.

These things were already taught to us in our Catechism classes.
In book of 2 Enoch he's also mentioned as Enoch's son who was born of a virgin and found next to his dead mother (born from her corpse). He was dressed with "his clothing on him" and was fully developed physically and spoke with his lips blessing the Lord. Maybe not canon but a cool read
