Be that as it may, I think a couple of certain real-world buildings had an influence:
- 3:17 Those towers with the skeletons on top are reminiscent of the Petronas Towers (in Kuala Lumpur), largely because of the circular shape and joining bridge.
- 6:05 That white/pink/blue building, with the minifig statues, sort of looks like the Empire State Building...
To name but those... No, I'm not crosschecking any more buildings! :)

That's correct. If I reconstructed the original Towers using LEGO they would no longer be original. Sorry LEGO purists but Not everyone grew up with just LEGO products. These days if its not LEGO I'll throw it away.
