Seems like this video was specifically for people that live in mansions. Normal people in average size homes cannot have 36 or 24 inch walkways and have 12 inches between every item. There will be no room left to put anything. Do a video on small scale design.
Do not know where you got these dimensions, but they are wrong. A main path in a room that size should be min. 48". 36" is typical. That staging furniture is monotonous, it is all the same and not slightly interesting. Don't let a lightfixture dictate furniture placement. A sofa almost 2X or 1.5X bigger under the light, 2 swivel chairs next to the fire place. Then a long table or console behind the sofa against the wall Remove at least on of the living room chairs. Those 4 dining chair are horrendous with the others, they look like oversized blobs. A long coffee table 2/3 the length of the new BIG sofa, oval would be good. Same amount of seating but much less cluttered and boring. You want to curve you main axis, but leave the overhead lights in a direct line? Move it toward the fire place 3-4'. Props on the grey wall but needs to go darker. For balance the long console under the windows should be black.
I absolutely love that I found your channel

No one ever pays attention to viewing distances anymore, and it hurts my heart (and eyes 😅)
