Kazuya ending, Jun's ending and the final scene with her approaching him unconscious renewed my hope that Tekken devs still care about giving proper depth to Kaz in the future.
But seeing how they wrote some of the other characters, it’s very little of hope for me.

Same here. I thought kazuya was doomed to just be a cartoon villain and die at the end of the story. Now my hope is renewed. I think they start to get the essence of the character finally

The intro too, weird , he really does seem to care for her, at least that is what the devs seem to imply, wasn't expecting that photo on the desk, even if that ending was comedic.

Sneakerhead Kazuya was honestly sort of surprising, but he is always dripped out, so I could see him appreciating some good shoes
Vegeta became a good person though maybe just like vegeta Jin beat the evil out of him.
It’s hard to imagine world conquering Uber Devil Kazuya appreciating some nice Jordans. It’s like he thinks everyone is beneath him except Nike lol

Kazuya has one of favorite endings bc it's the first time we've ever gotten an ending for him where he's not murdering a family member or being a crazy devil guy which was incredibly refreshing

Kazuya having the largest collection of sneakers makes a lot of sense. How else would he be able to consistently move so fast? Obviously he needs a new pair of shoes for every encounter

Kazuya probably never wears his shoes so they stay perfect and he can admire them on the shelf. That's what real sneakerheads do
@@anthonychase6906 he does seem to only wear a specific leather shoe, maybe he just has multiples of that one shoe and the rest are there to be admired?
The only time Kaz wore sneakers was in his Tekken 1 alt costume, the rest is just him wearing leather shoes.

Actually with Devil Jin's story here it does say that the UN wiped out Jin's comrades Hense why Devil Jin is alot more of a Savage over here and in story mode he's much calmer
I can't lie Jun's ending is probably my favorite idk something about seeing Jin and Kazuya just chilling and having a Spar is actually quite wholesome both characters went through hell if tekken had to end like that I personally wouldn't be upset at all
That can't happen. That reality can only exist in Jun's mind. I mean, if *T8 story ending spoiler*......
If Reina is the last remaining threat of the devil gene, and both Jin and Kaz survive, I could see the two of them joining forces and trying to reconcile in order to defeat her, assuming she's going to be "evil" like everyone else who's had the devil in them, but outside of that, there's pretty much no way Jun can do anything to make peace between Jin and Kazuya. As much as she wants them to be Goku and Gohan, that ain't hap'nin. Personally, I don't think Kaz should get a redemption arc.
@@BigDaddyWesKazuya already respects Jin's strength and I guarantee if he really has a soft spot for Jun alone she would be able to convince him to at least tolerate their son they made together
@@BigDaddyWes "If I can't have the devil's power, no one can" that could be Kazuya's reason for wanting to fight Reina. Also, I think he would respect Jin as someone strong like how he respects Jun so he would have no problem fighting alongside him (I still think he would have preferred to face Reina alone to show that he's stronger than the devil).
Kazuya's ending is great.
Reina's ending has such heihachi camp to it even if it was a daydream. Let's remember heihachi fired his father, son and grandson into space whilst chained to a rocket.
That spar reminds me of Vegeta and Goku sparring... or Vegeta and Trunks 😅

Love Kazuya’s ending more than life itself. Always knew and loved that he was a sneakerhead Looooong ago back in the day before anyone even noticed! (I’m lowkey one as well and it’s one of the many reasons I love him dearly lol) so the fact that they put his collection in his ending was everythinggggg. I took so many frickin screen shots of his character ep😭

True that was the highlight of his ending for me. I couldn't care less about his "relationship" with Jun in fact I hope he never gets redeemed because seeing Kazuya not being who he is and supporting Jun is a nightmare I hope never comes true but that's what Tekken 9 might be unfortunately for me.

If they had kept her on going in the story like Kazuya was keeping her captive or something because he became obsessed with her and her power or something would have been dope but idk. They should have hired me as a writer! 😂
I did like their interactions though even if they were barely there. Jin and Xiaoyu’s interactions were cute af tho haha💖

This game desperately needs story DLC down the line. Like a full on sequel to the story within the same game, similar to MK11’s Aftermath. If Tekken 8 is going to last 8-10 years, ima be in my mid to late 30s bro, I can’t wait that long
If I rate these ending, Kazuya ending is Top 1. Idk bout you but how he cares for his wife, and his obsessive sneaker collection is like an everyday normal man with temper issues

19:56 BlazBlue games. They're absolutely insane with single player content. BBCP alone has like a 20 hour main story AND arcade modes each of which is canon due to timeline bs

Which is a shame because he's a legit badass who doesn't rely on any sort of power, and the one to beat Ogre. They still entertain Jin and Hwoarang but never let Paul get his licks in for old time's sake.

It seems to me that Chaolan's arch ended in parts 4-5, where he still wanted to annoy the Mishimas, but at the same time he had already taken place in life. And after that, he didn't care about Mishimas as a rivals, even though he still hates Kazuya and Heihachi
His bio in this game established he wanted to use lars againts Kazuya as a pawn initially, so he wasn't quite over his issues with his family.
@@fightingmedialounge519Lee still hates Heihachi and Kazuya, but in Tekken 4 he decides to distance himself from them and move on with his life. In 6, he decides to use his wealth to help the world fight back against the Mishimas, and now he’s helping Lars lead the resistance movement. His arc is still ongoing.
@@fissilewhistle technically he decides to distance himself from between 2 and 3. In 4 he decided to involve himself in he conflict once more.

Steve's ending doesn't make any sense at all. Purely in my opinion, it seems to me that it would be better if they developed Nina and Steve's relationship. But apart from their joint interactions, they have nothing else, for some reason she was fighting with Reina in the plot. Why, it is not clear, and also why Reina should hire Nina is also not clear. Plus, at least Nina's character would have been developed more strongly, that she might have feelings for her son. As she was a cold, calculating and tough assassin, she remained so...
Seven was likely meant to be the conclusion of steves story with nina.

The Yoshimitsu vs Bryan rivalry is now more static than Asuka vs Lili. Do you really think that Bryan is going to miss Tekken 9. They should have ended it with 5 & give Bryan's move set to a new character because his endings since 5 is just him killing Yoshimitsu & breaking things. They are just too scared to kill off characters nowadays (I know Heihachi but he had Tekken 7's story mode revolve around him & both of his voice actors died)

Tekken 6 has more content than T8 because of all the customisation items, the tekken force like mode with all the maps, arcade mode with cinematics and all the outfits and characters, the stages man, azazel boss figth, nancy special stage, ect ... team fight
How was Dragunov a Jobber? Victor got the upper hand but Dragunov got away and he's fought the Ravens for years meaning he has multiple Ws on them, like scarring Raven's face.

I think we've reached a point of no return where Tekken will never be as mature as 4 and 2, or cool as 3 and 5.
8s story mode is more mature than any game before it and also cooler. These are just fun what ifs
@@shaghilathar3588In terms of cool it's definitely no.1, but I'd give T4 the title for being the most mature, it's the only tekken game to tackle themes such as alcoholism and depression while still maintaining the classic goofy tekken feel, it wasn't too edgy neither was it too goofy, unlike its gameplay, it was very balanced in the story/maturity aspect imo.
@@toro2812 I was mainly refering to jin breaking the cycle, redeeming himself and saving Kazuya which is something the franchise has been heading towards T3.

I’m very satisfied with tekken 8, much better than 7.
From now all characters endings looks wanky and funny on the right spot and the gameplay is really satisfying, except for special style option.
