Bro! Thanks for your comment. Good to hear from you. But I’ll tell you I’ve been a part of the GORUCK tribe for quite a while now. Believe I got my first one in 2014. This is my third pack!
Hi Chad, really enjoy your videos! I have purchased two Alpaka slings and love them. The only drawback I have experienced with Alpaka is it take FOREVER to get them.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year, sir 😇 I bought the CAP2L after watching your older video about it and subbed since then. Perhaps I'll buy the Vertex after your video about it??
So because I have camera and audio gear that I need to take places with me sometimes, the CAP 2L is still going to be a part of my organization. And it’s still a phenomenal pouch and organizer. But yeah, the vertex is going to be my EDC in my backpack for at least the next few months, it really is fantastic and I think it adds just a little bit more functionality as well
Some got it direct from Alpaka because they were contacted directly. Others like me got it through the Kickstarter I backed in September. They should be going on sale in January I believe.
Lumbar support is much better than others, there’s a better pad on there now. It’s actually really great. I’m currently at a big conference and have that bag weighed down with stuff and I can tell it’s much better than other Bullets. Thanks for your question!
@ChrisCarries_EDC So do you have the 10L or the 15L? Because I’m pretty sure they sell a variant of the 15 or 16 with this lumbar support but not the dual compartments.
I have the 15l - the 16l Laptop variant has lumbar support but I remember now going for the 15 because it was cheaper and mine has the orange interior!
@@LandmanEDC Osteo or Rheumatoid? I had a HELLUVA time just before Christmas which I think caused it to flare up but now my hands ARE feeling better because things have mostly quietened down. There's new thinking in Medical Research that suggests Cognitive Therapy might help in cases of RA. I am certainly keeping a diary this year to explore the inside of my head better. Blessings to your lady who gave you such nice things for Christmas!
@@susanp.collins7834 You know I'm not really sure, but I just don't have a way to spidey flick knives with my right hand. Honestly that and just affecting my grip a little bit is all that I have to worry about for now.
Wishing you and your family a happy , healthy and prosperous New Year Brother , as always i love watching your videos keep them coming , chat soon mate
Some audio feedback. I don't think everyone can hear it since no one has mentioned it but there is an extremely high pitched sound playing throught the entirety of the video after your intro. Really hurts my ears so I can't watch the video.
Look who I found? Also, welcome to the GORUCK tribe.

@@LandmanEDC nice! I got my first last year, I had a pair of ballistic sneakers and Rucker 4.0 when it released

You’re right, although some of their smaller items take less time to get. Thanks for your comment and I hope you continue to enjoy the videos!

Interesting! By the way, it's GORUCK, not GoRuck. :)
Gotcha, thanks for the correction!
New subscriber here. Great stuff man
Thank you for your sub! Really appreciate your comment. Thanks for being here.
how are people getting the vertex if it's not available on the alpaka website?
Some got it direct from Alpaka because they were contacted directly. Others like me got it through the Kickstarter I backed in September. They should be going on sale in January I believe.
What's the second small tool you pull out of the tuff possum pouch?
I *think* that was a tiny fixed blade and firestarter from Panacea X: gearjunkie.com/knives/panacea-x-firefly-survival-knife-review
U got some good gear for Christmas.
You got that right!
How do you find the lumbar support on the Bullet? Have you tried other GR bags without the support, how does it compare?

@@LandmanEDC Awesome. I have a standard bullet, if they introduce lumbar support for that in future then I may have to get it

Arthritis... Mine reared its ugly head in earnest about two weeks before Christmas...
I’m sorry to hear that. I’m too young to have it but it runs in my family. Hope yours gets better soon. Thank you for watching.

Hey thank you. You’re the second person to mention something like this. Even though I don’t hear it, I will investigate! Just in the intro?
@@LandmanEDC I hear it too. It’s not in the intro. It’s everything after the intro
@austinmeyer7397 it could be my old school CRT TV in my office. I’ll make sure I turn it off when I record my overhead shots next time.
