Man don’t use these adapters.. you get the performance of a micro usb with that usb c adapter, avoid adapters
Only use them in a pinch. I’m transferring very small files with them if I do, nothing bigger than 10mb. But thanks anyways!

Y’all. I know the pouch is sold out. You don’t have to announce it to everyone. This is ONE GUY making these in Tennessee. He does frequent drops. Get on his email list. I know that’s not preferable to getting one right this second. Also: this video got way more attention than I thought it would have. I just wanted to share my favorite pouch of 2023. Don’t give me grief because you can’t get one right now. Good things come to those who wait!

These sorts of drops are what ruin EDC, people just limiting the numbers out there so they seem limited and people obsess over trying to get them - that’s why I didn’t even bother diving into EDC except for readily available stuff- good video nonetheless I don’t want to take away from that

I have to say over the last few years my most heavily used mini organizing bags or EDC are roughly 4x6 black nylon bags with a top zipper from IKEA. I think they cost me about $1.50 a piece.
Well I understand everyone's hype and desire to have the new hot product, I just need organization that is simple and works for me.
Look around and build a kit using what you already have and then supplement, upgrade, or fine tune it from there.
The only thing that would make it better is if it had belt loops so it could be carried on a belt. I don't like having everything in my pockets but I don't want such a big pouch on my belt so if it had loops or maley compatible it would be perfect. Maybe I'll put my own belt loops on it.
You could do that here with this one. You might also look at the Bum Bag by Carry Commission. It’s got a strap for specifically carrying like a belt bag or a fanny pack. Thanks for your comment!

Ideally I would add a handkerchief that I could blow my nose on, a leatherman or at least a mini one, nail clippers, lip balm, some alcohol wipes for cleaning wounds or my hands, toothpicks, band-aids, eye drops, and medicines for a headache, heartburn, and decongestion. I know you have a pill bottle but I would want more. I don't need two knives. Great video.
Great recommendations. Most of the time I have other kits in my car and what not that have those items in them. This example pouch was just stuff I personally use around the campus every day. Thanks for watching!
It's a nice pouch for sure but the primary purpose of a pocket organizer for me is to hold my notebooks and writing implement's so it is useless to me without at least one notebook sleeve and a few pen sleeves on the outside of the pouch.

Do you like lanyards?
It helps me identify things at a glance and pull them out quickly and easily. If you didn’t notice, they’re color coded. It looks silly but it works for me.
Very nice pouch set you've got going on! That Victorinox mini is called a *Rambler* .. and in my it's the best "mini" Victorinox one can buy but it's not as popular as the "Classic mini". One overlooked feature is the blade deployment is Opposite of the key lanyard so it's easy to use on a keyring & the screwdriver comes magnetized from the factory. It's a shame Victorinox doesn't exploit this Rambler mini model as much as the Classic mini.

I go one step higher and say the Manager is better. For me, anyway. Rambler + Pen + fits and disappears in my 5th pocket = *chef's kiss*
@@RJay207 The Manager is a nice mini Victorinox as well, but the pen just doesn't do is for me (although it's better to have a quick backup pen). Have you checked out the Victorinox Minichamp? It's a 3 layer mini so it's a bit thicker & it has more tools + the pen you like. It's just a tad too bulky to keep on a keyring. It's my 2nd favorite mini next to the Rambler.

Its a nice pouch, but wow $50.00 bucks!. But if you are carrying around $400.00 dollars worth of trinkets, it might be worth it? It seems the EDC game has become more about status accessories than function. Just a thought.
Hey it’s a decent price for a pouch. Anything you get from Data Crew or Garage Built Gear will be as much, even more. Now I do agree with you on the status factor - unfortunately that’s a byproduct of anything being popular. That’s a good thought, and an idea even for a future video that I’m writing down. Kind of pricy for a simple little pouch. Looks nice, but tough to get over the cost.

For a few tiny items, that is a lot of thick bulky fabric, zippers, and elastic. Yes it helps you quickly find where you placed something, but the pouch itself is a lot of bulk.
I tend to agree. However, it’s functional bulk and keeps everything in place pretty well. But thanks for your comment!
Brilliant setup in that EDC pouch - I like the tech items included & as we are more gadgets oriented in 2023. I think the SIM removal tool was a brilliant idea along with the host of charging cables / plugs. I too have been caught out - mid transit in need of a cable or a quick charge.

That’s a great question, I’ve thought about that as well. If you like this and you want something that’s available and can be worn like that, try looking at the 5.11 Flex Medium GP pouch or Carry Commission’s Bum Bag.
The Victorinox is the Rambler.
Yes it is, I stand corrected. I have a MiniChamp as well and always get the names mixed up.
Rambler is great. Add a built in miniature pen deployed by push down button and you have the Manager. Add a tiny built in flashlight and you have the Nite Manager. All three are great Victorinox items.
How do you wear this? Over the shoulder or around the waist?
No, it goes in a backpack. I thought I said that in the video, but maybe not. Just lives in my main EDC backpack.

I've used the same Maxpedition EDC pouches for years. Molle to mount or even attach to my belt. YKK and very sturdy. Good option for those who can't seem to find these in stock.

buy the decathlon solognac hunter pouches, 2 sizes, 12 euro, same thing, maybe better.
So I looked these pouches up. Very interesting. Tried to purchase direct from Decathlon, but they don’t ship outside Canada. Quick search doesn’t reveal much about buying them elsewhere. I’d love to get my hands on some of these if you know a place where I can get them. Thanks for the suggestion - now you’ve got me in the hunt!

Great review! Do you know if Levergear Cable Kit you reviewed can hold two adapter heads? I want the USB-A to USB-C one but need both Lightning and Micro-USB attachment heads. Would be dope if both nested in holder.
Unfortunately not, it’s just too small for both. You might try the brand Budi on Amazon, that have some compact (but not as small) adapter and cable holders. Thanks for your question!

hmmm. well i was in that edc world , but man i do edc but i dont do that unnecessary gadget transportation anymore. i have got a tale of Knives Belt , leatherman surge , baton 2, and a Sharpy on it and a PM2 in the pockets , thats all it needs.

No money? My #1 items are cash in different increments, hand wipes, zip ties, paracord… beyond your usual items. Never know when you might need some cash or to wipe hands. Oh and a lighter.

They’re literally just pulls for me, enables me to pull them out quicker. And they’re color coded so I don’t even have to think about what I’m pulling when I need to get into this pouch quickly and get what I need. Thanks for your question.
Not just that, but if you need an amount of cord for something you can unravel one or more of them. I have them on all the zippers of my backpack so I can see which side the zippers are. And easy to grab. Bright orange.

Sorry it didn’t live up to your expectations.
Staring confused at how you can spend so much money on so little practicality? 40 dollar titanium measure tape? 3 dollar soft measure tape and a rubber band, its lighter, in an easier shape to store, and you get a rubber band. 2 hex drivers? they make a bike repair ratchet, take it and a little heat shrink sleeve of drivers, now you have like 10 drivers of all sorts, both types of screw driver, and some heat shrink...no lighter in this kit, add a bic, they are cheap, wrap up some solder while you're at it, now between that and the heat shrink you can fix more things, and start a fire too. Carry a 150 dollar knife and an 80 dollar micro multitool, clearly never use the blade on either of them (lord knows you don't want to screw up a 150 dollar knife) but you do get a cool fidget toy out of it? ditch the tiny but very cool multitool pick up a micro set of knipex cobra pliers, toss in the 9 dollar stand alone scissors because lets be honest its why everyone carries a swiss army knife. I carry a lock pick set, if you dont know how to use one, get a few very light very flat jigglers and bypass drivers, toss in a needle and thread, downgrade to pen thats not the size of the moon, keep the other stuff and you have a tiny bag of tricks that can actually fix things and solve problems. I do recommend finding a cheaper knife you don't mind using as a tool and tossing it in, keep the very cool flex toy in your pocket to show the buddies? bags pretty neat?

@@LandmanEDC fair enough, EDC just stands for everyday carry, not practical things you use every day, you could indeed carry a pink glass blown unicorn every day. Also no thank you, looks like fun, video editing and making is even rather entertaining, wife has the software and camera gear, but I think I'd rather pull my fingernails out then deal with trying to figure out RUclips monetization and deal with companies expectations on paid reviews.

I don't remember hearing anything about HOW TO CARRY the pouch. That's IMPORTANT! Dangling clip doesn't seem good. Stuffing in a pocket or some larger bag isn't great. What gives?

I do, nearly every day most days.
I carry that Swiss Army knife on my keychain. It’s the mini champ. Mines red and doesn’t have the toothpick. Has an ink pen. I collect Vic’s. Love the quality of them. Awesome video
