The last of the 6 GMs, and by far the worst of them. Not because of the difficulty, as that part is fine. But because of how damn tedious this is. The health bar on the meatball is ridiculous, all of the orange bar strand enemies, the Threshers... just every change in this strike serves to prolong it, without making it more engaging.
Anyway, outside of that, it's another season down. I'll have my full thoughts on GMs and difficulty in the final compilation video I'll probably post on the weekend.
The plan as usual is to do the first 6 runs on the first day, but I'll see how interest is after the first run or two posted as to whether I'll spread the uploads out over the week or not. For these first clears, I'll be using cheese runs and whatever the path of least resistance is to initially get them done. The sole reason for that is that cheese runs and easy runs tend to get the most interest on the channel, and have historically proven so (just take a look back at any other season). Then as each week comes around, I'll redo them all with the usual alternate runs, no cheese, -40 power and all of that, like I always do. I was originally thinking of doing them all at -40 power to begin with, but having them spread out over the rest of the season is probably the better approach it this time around. I'll also come back and update these with timestamps once they're all finished and I've had some rest.
How to unlock all 6 Grandmasters? If you've previously completed and gilded the conqueror title, when Grandmasters release in the following season you have the option to select from all 6 grandmasters to gild your conqueror title on day one.

He supered into the ground and there was nothing directly below him, what was it that he saved?. The dude is the greated solo player I have ever seens but there was nothing there to save, he was just fine.
@@cityofplanots8399bro lmao. I had to rewatch 5 times to remember what this comment was about. You have to look very very closely. See the blinking icon when he takes a ton of damage? He’s been stuck with a grenade. At this difficulty you’re done for when that happens especially considering he’s already low health. Going invisible to break tracking from enemies and then he supers for damage resist. That’s how he tanks through a guaranteed death.
The fact that it took me rewatching as many times as I had to and questioning my own memory, tells you everything you need to know about how cool this play was.

Lake of Shadows and Arms Dealer are so bad now. RIP 2 of the best (because fastest) Grand Master Nightfalls in the game.

I got to boss room 3 times and the boss always stood underneath the roof and never at the back of the room
Just crouch by the wall and let the enemies deaggro, that usually happens if you are peaking too much , you can also move a little around the ring (if you are up on the cheese spot)

Well that took him a few days. Probably needs vary little to finish his rank 11 now.
The new opening encounter with the meatball is awful. Not a good awful either. I think back to Proving grounds and its first day as a GM and that was a good kind of bad. If you wiped it felt like you just played bad but in this it feels like you just got cheesed.
I dont mind the revamp that much they did the boss room right by keeping the melt possible. But the intro is just awful. Arms Dealer is the opposite. The main part of the GM is good but the Boss room is not good. I think bungie doesn;t understand people want at least 1 or 2 easy GMs to farm and try funny loadouts on. The fact Proving Grounds and Glassway are the "easy" ones this season is not cool.
Definitely one of the worst examples of Bungie's level design capabilities. I expect much more from them.
