Were there any symptoms that indicated you needed to clean your injectors or was this just a preventive maintenance service thing? Is there a certain time interval that the injectors should be cleaned? I just got my first fuel injected outboard in my OX66 225HP Saltwater Series II and trying to learn hot to take care of this thing and get more years of service out of her. She's an oldie but a goodie.

I have to pull the injectors tomorrow on my 2001 Yamaha 115hp so I can send them out for service. I would just let the guys at the marina do it but here in New England it's a short season and by the time they get to it a month will pass.
I'm not much of a mechanic so I'm not looking forward to it. Any hints or suggestions to calm my nerves and jump in. Just tell me it's a no-brainer

Great, no frills video with annoying music. Where did you send them for service?
