Very nice flight! Love the safety elements evident here: runway check; nice crisp comms; deviating clear of buildups; healthy snacks help maintain cognitive function and avoid sugar crashing; early approach review even though weather was good; and early cancellation into Waycross helps center. With ATC impacted by COVID and GA activity up, we're getting reports of more delays or unusual routing, so nice to carry extra AVGAS. Great video!

I'm not a pilot but my Dad was I wish he was still with me he would love to watch your channel. Just before he he stopped flying he got his instrument rating and was checked out on a Cherokee retractable . I used to enjoy flying with him. You are obviously a experienced pilot and I really enjoy your channel

I appreciate your videos, more importantly your professional attitude towards flying. Having been a CFI since 1992, I recommended all of my students/customers use an organized checklist in all phases of flight. You do an excellent job and can not commend more. I have mentioned this to several other aviation video people and they could care less. I have flown Bonanzas and Barons for more than 4000 hours and use a Checkmate always. Keep up the great example of a professional pilot. Wonderful!

No TFR. Probably delayed around Palm Beach. I don’t know but I am sure there was a good reason. Always safety first!

I stand corrected and thank you. Better get my ears checked before my flight physical .....lol. I must have a look at Heavens Landing as it looks awesome. I lived on A1A in Gulfstream (part of delray beach) and I never knew there was an airstrip there. I flew out of Pompano and Lantana. All the best

I get a vector opposite way i need to go those black knobs come way back. Did that in my mooney in stl one day and controller asked it i could go faster. Finally said yes on a 360 heading

How long of a flight is that for you? Love the videos.
From Delray to Waycross is about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Depending of wind and weather.
Was there some logic in going South first? While watching you go through your Checklist I was wondering if you have your CFI. If not I think you would be a Great CFI with your consistent attention to details. Your videos just reinforce your consistency and that would be great for students to observe this in real time. Thus the reason for carrying extra batteries, just so OCD!! I suppose the reason for refuel is the diversion South as I don't recall refueling going to Heaven's landing before. Anyway Great flight looking forward to Part 2.

The runway was a little softer than usual so I did not get fuel as much as I usually do to be lighter. I could have continued but I've planned it that way just to be safe.
@@SkylineBaronPilot Does your hanger have a sprinkler system? A friend of mine, a retired Colonel, just lost his plane in a hanger fire that spread from 4 hangers down on Sat morning. He has insurance, but still sad.

That’s why I always inspect the runway after we get a few days of heavy rain. Antiquers is a private airport, we rely on everyone’s common sense. 😉

As always great video...However did you get a amended clearance for IFR? The last word from ATC was to maintain VFR and then you were punching through clouds. Love all your vid's ..Thanks

Fairly new to your channel but very much enjoy your videos. Love the varying environments you fly in and out of. Couple of questions that im sure have been asked before. I thought it unusual that the throttle quadrant has the throttles in between the props and mixture. Is this only on a few models of Baron or most? Its ben a very long time since I have been in one. Also what GoPro mounts do you use? I like the are for the iPad. Merci!
Thank you and Welcome!! Older Barons were designed that way. Throttles in between prop and mixture levers.
GoPro Mounts are mostly Flighflix and the one for the iPad is from My Go Flight.

It is part of the radio system. We have a replay button. Really nice feature.

For income, do you use your aircraft to do charter flights or fly any freight charters? I do expediting deliveries and some times meet aircraft at the airport meeting chartered flights to deliver to the customer. Sometimes I pick up shipments and deliver to the plane at the airport.
