Flight from Waycross Georgia, where we stopped to get fuel on the way to GE99.
After this flight we are going to Nashville, Tennessee to meet with some friends.

Thanks for taking us along for the ride, Valerie. Always enjoy your proficient piloting. Reminds me of my Dad's touch on the controls. He flew 36 regular B-17 missions and 10 Top Secret Aphrodite Project missions during WWII. His crew members always told me about his "touch" and how they could always tell it was him flying the aircraft. He drove the same way. I sure miss him. PS: I re-registered my simulator Baron N1879L as a tribute to you! Wish it was turbocharged. Thanks again!

I stop at Waycross a couple times a month for fuel. Price is great and the people are fantastic. Never more than 10 mins before the fueling begins. Highly recommend you stop there and say hey to the gang.

I tried to get my PPL many years ago, but due to costs and other difficulties with local options in South AL, I had almost given up on that dream until 2018/2019 when I was considering an old twin in need of restoration, but I was discouraged by a few people due to the workload involved in flying a twin. During the research I happened to stumble onto your channel and your videos truly have inspired me to pursue the dream again regardless of the barriers and obstacles. I’ll be getting the PPL and hopefully IFR/ Commercial by this year and perhaps a multi within 1-2 years. Thank you so much for the videos. In a way it proves that women can handle a twin single-handed, so I’m determined that I’ll get there one day. Safe travels!!

Love this video as you take us flying along with you. The narrative and the graphics are really educational. The landing at Heavens Landing seems a bit precarious having to negotiate the hills. Love the outside cameras too. Why don’t we ever see your husband piloting the Baron? Don’t get me wrong you are much prettier!

Not sure if you will get this or not but I follow you and Steveo and Greg and Baron Pilot and 310 Pilot and Aviation 101 and on and on. I absolutely love aviation it truly is my passion. However, having bad vision, blind in right eye and my left eye is not great but gets me by. If I tried to fly it would n0t be good. I had to give up my 2 Harleys as well but I thank all you wonderful pilots that allow me to share my passion in your cockpits. It is awesome and I truly appreciate it. I was thinking about trying to put together a flight simulator but there is nothing like the real thing. Whenever I get a chance to fly commercially I love it and listen to all the noises and know exactly what the pilots are doing and when. My father worked for United Airlines his entire career and was afforded to be able to fly a lot. I remember in Pittsburgh going out to PITT seeing a 747 for the first time, was in HS then. It stole my heart. I loved the time you and Stevo took off and dont remember what airport but loved the fact that your turbos smoked his TBM. Yes I can ramble about aviation, I completely bored my daughter on the phone last night about the United incident in Denver. Thank God for all the had work people put in to keep aviation safe. Again thank you so very much for bringing my passion to me through your gracious efforts filming such awesome trips. Until next video I wait with bells on.

Hi Valerie. You mention lovely people in Georgia. My Dad troop-shipped over to the US from UK in 1942, when he was 20, and was trained to fly over Georgia before becoming a Handley-Paige Halifax bomber pilot. He always said how friendly and super the folks of Georgia were.

Love your channel and I love your videos! I'm shopping for a Baron and you've been a huge inspiration!
I do have a thought for you. Instead of a keeping both radios on the same frequency (I like your thinking here!) you might want to consider keeping one on guard 121.5. It will give you the same redundancy and gives you the added benefit of monitoring for ELTs (either yours or somebody else's). It's also good to have that plugged in and ready to go in case of emergency/lost comes on #1.
I used to do that early on in my training. Will bring this routine back in.

Great video, Fantastic Aircraft BUT, it would be super much better if you put the audio on the engines (noise) especially on take off. The music is cool but nothing like the sound of those turbo's revving up. You would get a lot more repeat views.

Get all of the water out and discard of it instead of putting the fuel that you’ve extracted back in the tank.

Hi Capt. Valerie! Excellent flight & video as always! Question...how often, if ever, have you “failed” 1879L on the run-up and returned to the FBO?
I had a waste gate issue once but it was at our field I just returned to our hangar.

I pull the yoke during run up so the elevator is lining up with the surface of the horizontal stabilizer and It creates less stress on the aircraft. Not flopping around.
