hey guys, you NEED fly ANA All Nippon Airways which is crazy. Some flights are even BETTER than Cathay Pacific. However, take note that they have less mistake-fares than Cathay and is a very precise airlines bc they are Japanese (obviously).
Hey Kara and Nate, I happened to be in front of my computer when this video dropped and I wanted to take a quick minute to send you a message. I recently found your channel and have subscribed and watched several of your videos. I have watched several travel vloggers over the past year or so and I have to say, you guys are my favorite so far! I love your guys' energy and genuineness. Additionally I love that you have traveled to some pretty adventurous places and allowed your audience to go on that journey vicariously with you. I also have to give major props to Kara as it sounds like she is the one doing most of the editing and the way your videos are put together is top notch - really impressive! Keep up the fantastic work guys and I hope all is well!
What an adventure! Lol I love how super positive you guys are when something does go wrong. It seriously makes me look at everything in a more positive way.
Hey Kara, Hey Nate, Just wanted to thank you for always cheering my day up with your videos. It's such a treat to watch you travel the world and in many ways, you have inspired me to create my own channel. Please don't ever stop traveling. Life'll never be the same again without your channel. Thanks so much for everything!
Omg, I was just about to say! Your travels are so fun and exciting and it really makes my day so much better! Thanks Kara and Nate for putting in your 3000% for this channel. Love you guys!

Kara and Nate, I didn’t even know about airport lounges really before following you guys. So thank you for educating me. Right now my husband & I have only traveled internationally on a cruise, but we quickly learned cruising isn’t for us as we prefer to really experience a place, not just be there a few hours & get back on a ship with subpar food. 😉 We want to become world travelers someday. I love that you guys include reviews on lounges & tell us how to do what you do. You guys rock!

Awww, you have to get up for your food in the Biz Class Lounge😩. I’ve been to both at HKG and except for the sit-down meal I prefer the Biz Class Lounges. Y'all are spoiled but only due to you own diligence and dedication to finding great deals. And thanks to the videos the world can to. Just think you have planted a seed of travel in someone's head ... probably of modest or better means but very limited mobility. How luxurious would a business class flight to HK for someone like that? It could be an amazing vacation. God told Abraham that he was blessed, and a blessing ... this goes for all God's children.
Wow what a great deal on airfare. Thanks Nate for the laugh about New York and asking directions. Bad travel days happen but usually they make the funniest stories...later..much later.
My dad's a pilot for american airlines, so ive likewise been fortunate enough to travel pretty much everywhere at this point lol. I've been to 28 countries and I'm 18 years old, and I havent been outside of the US in 2 years if that tells you anything haha. But, just want to say, I looooooove your travel vlogs!! Hi Kara and Nate, I wasn't sure if y'all were trying to get to Newark first, then your hotel (kinda got confused). But I just have one tip if you're trying to go from New York City to Newark Liberty, you don't have to take a million public transit, or an uber that costs about an arm and a leg. Take the airtrain to Sutphin Blvd( aka last stop) where you'll connect to the subway line that'll stop you in 42nd Port Authority (probably take the E train), This will cost you about $2.75 each. Then take the shuttle bus from port authority, which goes all the way down to the Newark airport (The shuttle is about $17 for each of you). This goes both ways, plus it's much easier, and convenient than taking any New Jersey transit, (they're hella slow and confusing). I don't know if this information is relevant to you, but I just thought I should offer it just incase.
Oh what fun it is to eat in a Cathay Pacific Lounge! Great vlog. It's so nice to see you traveling in style compared to what you have traveled in over the past three years. One small request;if at all possible, could you show the full menu when you are in First Class or Business Class? Even if you have it at the end of the vlog, it would be very much appreciated. Very few channels show the menu or just give a glimpse of it and as someone who is always interested in what different airlines serve in their premium cabins I would be so grateful if you can do this! Hope you had a nice time at the anniversary/family reunion! As always, take care and Happy Travels! ♥️🙏🛫
Just FYI, this isn't the cheapest way to get from JFK to EWR! This method does take a little more time, but it's significantly cheaper for penny-pinchers like me :) (TL;DR: take the A train and 1 train on the subway, take the PATH train to Newark Penn Station, and take the NJ transit bus to EWR.) From JFK, you can take the AirTrain (run by the Port Authority, $7.75) to get to the A train (NYC Subway, $2.75) all the way to 59 St-Columbus Circle in Manhattan. You can use a MetroCard for this and every other segment of the trip until the NJ Transit bus, so load about $14 on there. Transfer there to the 1 train, and take that to 14th St. At 14th street, get off and look for signs for the F/M train, which will be up some stairs and down a long underground hallway that occasionally has street performances or other programs. You won't be going on them, though--the PATH train to New Jersey is next to them ($2.75). Take the yellow PATH train headed to Journal Square, and transfer at Grove Street to the red train heading towards Newark (which will be going to Newark Penn Station). (Alternatively, you can take the 1 train all the way down to Fulton Street, where you'll cross the beautiful Oculus terminal to get to the Newark PATH train there. This is simpler, but it'll take more time to get down to the tip of Manhattan.) Once you get to Newark Penn Station, you'll be looking for the Raymond Blvd Bus Lanes, where you'll catch the #62 NJ Transit bus to EWR ($1.50). Purchase this ticket either using the ticket machines or the NJ Transit app. Watch out--there's also a #62 that doesn't go there! This bus stops at every terminal after making its way through central Newark. It is a public bus, so sometimes there are some ~unsavory~ characters; normally it's fine but be aware. Altogether, this route takes about 3 hours, but only costs $14.75. That's way cheaper than taking the LIRR and NJ Transit train (which is easily at least double that) or any other private bus/shuttle combo. I'm aware that Kara and Nate most likely have the means to not need a complicated itinerary like this, but other folks who are watching might not! I live in NYC and learning this route to EWR has saved me tons of money. It is long, but I honestly don't mind--like most New Yorkers, I tend to tune out on the train anyways. Hope this helps some folks!
Welcome to NJ Kara and Nate, my home state! So cool to see you had a layover here, and it was neat recognizing the NJ Transit Train you took to Newark :) Enjoy your videos!
Welcome to NJ & NY!!! What a rush!!! Love watching your adventures....no matter where you are...but glad to see you on the east coast at least :) What a life!!!!! Love it!!!
Another airplane video, my morning could not get any better 🥰 Also congrats on earning your status back! Also the FACE ZOOM HAHAHAHA, I edit my comments as I progress through the video because I’m too excited to wait until the end
Hi Kara and Nate- great vlog- We're playing catch up on your vlogs as with travelling and editing our videos it's hard to find the time . Great vlog as always you make travelling look so good !! Oh how times have changed comparing 1st class and business lounges and travelling business class LOL !! The food looked amazing - Thank you so much for sharing with us - Chris and Marianne x 😎🙏🌴💕
I am probably watching this video out of chronological order but your trek to the hotel is like your first trip to the Phillipines. I like the biz/1st comparison.
Airport buses are also an option between the NYC airports. JFK-EWR is $29 per person. You’d have to switch between the buses in midtown, but they’re both express (non-stop) coaches. Ubers only cost that much because it’s about $30 in tolls between JFK and Newark Liberty.
I have flown with Cafe Pacific in business class when I went to Manchester with a stopover in Hong Kong it’s very very good business class and I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve been in the same seat I’ve flown busines and I absolutely love it
I’ve just started watching you guys and love it. I can’t believe you came to Toledo a while ago and at that point I wasn’t watching you guys I would love to meet you guys if you ever head back towards Toledo Ohio again.
I lolled SOO HARD when Nate said he scared a guy by asking him for assistance. Hahaha... I so very much love my home town of NYC, but yes, people are a bit wary of talking to strangers. Except for me, I struck up an entire conversation with the woman behind me in line today at the mall. We talked about how shirts are never long enough for tall ladies. 😂😂😂
The train situation reminded me of my trip this spring. I ran the New Jersey Marathon and had to take the train from near(ish) my hotel in Asbury Park to Newark airport. I changed trains twice - it was very confusing. I even needed help with the ticket machine. Thankfully lots of people were willing to help. New Jersey folks are way nicer than I had been led to believe. (Even though it was a Monday morning!)
The benefit of the new acquired status: get on the plane first. For that to happen you need to get to the gate before boarding starts. Which means you have to get out of the lounge earlier.....
Always amaze me, your trips, Vietnam it is in my bucket list, definitely, I will contact you, to make many trips to get status in AA, and the business you just did here, I need to spend time flying around the world I good for it. I have many friends in Australia and Hong Kong when I was filming there for commercials. Now is time to enjoy life.

Love it!!!

the noise of the ticket printer on the nj transit kiosk is the music of my teenage years
just noticed at 4:39 there’s someone holding up a cute baby behind you! made me laugh..
Loving FareDrop. I've already booked two flights though it. Much love to you both from Reading in the UK.
AHHH Kara dancing through almost every scene!
Cathay pacific is a nice airline. Thank you for the insight. Thanking for sharing your travel adventures like me.
You guys are so amazing can’t wait for what your future holds for you guys 😘😘
I wanna cry i miss doing this :(
You guys inspire me to just want to travel and enjoy life. My goal is to one day fly business class lol
Airport buses are also an option between the NYC airports. JFK-EWR is $29 per person. You’d have to switch between the buses in midtown, but they’re both express (non-stop) coaches. Ubers only cost that much because it’s about $30 in tolls between JFK and Newark Liberty.
that follower who helped you out to get from jfk and newark really did you a favor wow as someone from nyc
I have flown with Cafe Pacific in business class when I went to Manchester with a stopover in Hong Kong it’s very very good business class and I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve been in the same seat I’ve flown busines and I absolutely love it
I love y’alls travel days so much
YAY! So happy to hear that!
I’ve just started watching you guys and love it. I can’t believe you came to Toledo a while ago and at that point I wasn’t watching you guys I would love to meet you guys if you ever head back towards Toledo Ohio again.
I love Kara slapped us when she said “we’re taking off now!”
yay! so proud of you for using the public transportation, its takes longer but so much cheaper and I think its more fun!!! lol
You two are just so cute, even when you're upset.
Nice going guys flying business class! You guys really deserve it 😁👍
There's a bus that goes from downtown Manhattan to Newark and it's like $16.
Wow just wow I’ve never seen anyone handle long distance travel so well.
“Best buns are in Hong Kong” oh yeah.
you guys are soo cute together! Im addicted to your channel now :)
That notification email never comes early enough!
Thanks for watching Lachlan😊
The train situation reminded me of my trip this spring. I ran the New Jersey Marathon and had to take the train from near(ish) my hotel in Asbury Park to Newark airport. I changed trains twice - it was very confusing. I even needed help with the ticket machine. Thankfully lots of people were willing to help. New Jersey folks are way nicer than I had been led to believe. (Even though it was a Monday morning!)
Easily one of the most entertaining channels on YT
The benefit of the new acquired status: get on the plane first.
For that to happen you need to get to the gate before boarding starts. Which means you have to get out of the lounge earlier.....
Thanks for the review! really helped me know if I should spend the money to upgrade or not! Love the videos!
You guys just bring me such joy!
This comment brought me so much joy 😭💗
