Thanks to all for sharing your personal experiences. I followed RUclipsrs and ended up buying Dior Sauvage EDT opposed to the PARFUM but I was too disappointed and gave it away. I also bought Profumo because of Jeremy but I surely failed to love it.
Bongani never got any compliments where im around. Maybe different society. But I know some ladies whispering to each other saying I smell great after walking pass me.
I bought the parfum version for $164 at macys the other day and got samples of the edp. The parfum is much deeper and rich and doesn't project as well as edp does unless you give it an extra spray or 2, which for me personally is fine. I love its performance, less sting on the nose and lasts longer as long as you spray in the proper places (pulse points etc). Hope this helps someone

That’s right. Parfum stays there way after EDP has gone. It dances around the skin like Molecule 01, coming in and out of visibility and then boom at 8 hours when you think there is nothing left it hits you with a blast of gorgeous far dry down. If Eau De Parfum is the Hare then Parfum is the Tortoise. It wins the race, calm and mellow, doesn’t scream and keeps going strong, long into the drydown. That’s the whole point of a Parfum concentration. It’s not meant to be blaring, beast mode, everything at once. More oil doesn’t mean more projection. It means better quality scent and longer lasting.
Sorry gotta disagree this time. My ultimate favorite is the Parfum, lasts 6-7 hours on my skin and clothes. It's so warm , like its giving me a cuddling hug. Also, the sillage is decent! I got quite a bit of compliments seriously. Maybe yours was a different batch? Cheers.
That or his body chemistry is trash. Makes all the difference... If his body chemistry is horrid, he should spray on his clothes for longer lasting projection.

Edp last forever and projects the best off me but not my favorite scent.. Parfum got me a bunch of compliments and smells the best of the 3, never got any with the Edp.. So people should try the scent on skin their selves bc u may get a different outcome like me.. Oh yeah Parfum lasted and performed over 8hrs on my skin.. Once again test it urself
Entirely accurate - I agree with absolutely everything that you say. I've got all the variants. It's very frustrating because the Parfum version has absolutely NO projection or longevity whatsoever.......It is totally inexcusable of Chanel and shows a lack of proper 'development' in the testing phase - it will ultimately hurt sales of this version. I think the Eau de Parfum version has good projection and longevity and is therefore the one to buy. I'm gonna try spraying both EDP & Parfum on different parts of me and see how that works seeing how I've got so much of it :-) Many thanks.......all the way from London !
I brought the EDT for compliments. Cost me $95 at Macy’s. I got my first compliment on day 2. It was in my office helping a very sexy 23 year old Latina, who wanted to open a checking account ( I work for a bank). She said she loved my cologne and even touched my hand and gave me a super big sexy smile. My coworkers also liked it. It’s a keeper!

I have used all three. Edp performed better than parfum by 1 hour and edt by 2 hours max. Edt is very generic. There are so many better options available than these 3 at cheaper prices. Why to waste money on Chanel? Just a brand hype. Bought dunhill icon elite a few days back. Smashes all of these 3.
I'm getting fade up with fragrances. I have Bleu de Chanel Parfum 150 mls but i strongly suggest you stick to the EDP VERSION. OTHERWISE YOU WILL REGRET YOUR MONEY LIKE ME. And RUclipsrs mislead a lot - better to first buy a sample (original).

BDC Parfum is a tricky frag. 7 sprays on a shirt on a really hot and sweaty day. Couldn't smell it on myself after 2 hours. Came home after 10 hours and my mom told she could smell it on me and that it smelt creamy. Looks like people can smell this on you only when you move around. It's extremely soft on projection.
Amazing review bro, I totally agree with you, the parfum version smells richer, deeper and better for me. However, it does not last like the EDP AT ALL, I would have to say the parfum one by maximum stays 4hr on me, while the edo may stay 6+hrs.
I’ll stick with the EDP. I got a 5 ounce compared to 3.3 ounce for the same price. Easy decision for me. I just picked up YSL Y edt. Looking forward to wearing this in the office
I pretty much agree with your findings. In my opinion, it's the best smelling version of Bleu de Chanel, but it doesn't project at all on my skin! Because of that, I don't think it's worth the price hike over the EDP, so that's what I'm gonna stick with. Smell is almost exactly the same, projects much better and significantly cheaper.
I feel super bad for the people that this doesn't last on. On me it lasts SO LONG and I just have the sephora sample of a bottle that's been under those hot lights. So I'm baffled how it doesnt work for some people
Good review but name me an alternative which is this versatile and smells like quality juice without a cheaper dupe? Creed is maybe same price but has also often terrible performance and you get for nearly every creed a cheaper dupe. I love Zoologist but Zoologist has not such a swiss army knife fragrance, Koala, Beaver, Panda are the closest to that but not in high heat. Parfum works great even in 30°C+. Think in comparison to the other two versions you pay more, like a niche price, but the scent character is also more niche like. It smells like higher quality. Think the best is to wait for an discount for it. Got this week the Coco Mademoiselle Parfum for my sister with 20% off :D

They are all three masterpieces, undoubtedly. However, the Parfum simply needs better projection. Scent wise I would give the EDT an 8/10, EDP 10/10, and Parfum 9/10 ...
I got two samples of the parfum and I LOVE IT but the performance is just ehhhhhhh. It’s such a good scent but i can’t justify spending so much. I’ve never had bleu de chanel so should I just get the edp?

Honestly for me it smells like Palmolive dish soap and regrettably lasts forever because it makes me nauseous to smell. Had to return it. For the money you can get a good niche fragrance that is immensely more compelling/unique.
Btw right when you open it out of box, I can feel the quality of the bottle , the scent, everything almost like a niche. I just love Chanel and it's a must have in my permanent top 5 frag collection.
@@gamer6595 I avoid designers now completely especialy new releases but your right some designers such as Bogart pour homme, Gold edition, Dior homme Parfum etc do last as long as you are saying but these are few and far between especially with widespread reformulations becoming the norm now, honestly the ones you have mentioned above ie sauvage and ADG Profumo last no longer than 4-5 hours at a push with awfull levels of projection and if someone has to dig their nose into your skin to smell it thats a big fat no for me, if you get better longevity and performance then you are very lucky indeed.
The parfum is the best it lasts the longest and smells darker 100%. If people say they can't smell a difference ESPECIALLY in the dry down then they have an amateur nose.

I completely agree with your conclusion if one already owns the EDT or EDP "which I do" then there is absolutely no point in purchasing the "Parfum" of which I have a decant. If on the other hand, you do not own any of the three then consider it but there are factors to consider... Do you want a brash in your face fragrance that will get you noticed from across a room? Go for the EDT. If you want a more refined, subtle fragrance that is more of a skin scent then go for the "Parfum" and if you want something in-between, I'd say go for the EDP which is the one I prefer personally.
I own both there exactly the same. But the new one is polished. And the performance is little bit less. Depending how much you sweat. The new one just leaves a trail same the parfum. Ept ehh just spend the extra bit for better quality

The ultimate bleu de Chanel fragrance is two sprays EDT, 4 Sprays EDP, two sprays Parfum. Stack all 3 it’s pretty incredible.

Allure homm extreme, sauvage, prada lhomme, bvlgari aqva amara, aqdgio profumo, jpg ultramal. these are all 8+ hrs lasting easliy and all designers.

I usually layer the Parfum with the EDP...I have a very large EDP bottle....

I own both there exactly the same. But the new one is polished. And the performance is little bit less. Depending how much you sweat. The new one just leaves a trail same the parfum. Ept ehh just spend the extra bit for better quality

well my man it seems like your experience with the Parfum hasnt been as great as mines and many others guys as well, u cant just judge the Parfum on ur own experience with it, ive heard others say it last longer than the EDP, and that its better in many ways, so u need to research what others say and then make a conclusion on it

I don’t fancy either of them they just don’t do anything for me and the proformance and projection suck on both .but I find the edp better then the Parfum so does my wife

The now days formula is weak. It last less than 4 hours and projects max one hour.

I have the EDT and it smells like nothing but oranges. That's it. I cannot pick out any other ingredients whatsoever. I think it's very generic smell but it lasts all day.
