I fucking LOVED Mostert as a 49er. Sad it didn't work out with him, but I'll cheer for him on and off the field for the rest of team. Class act, amazing teammate, and one hell of a football player. This clip really resonates with me as I've gotten similar feedback in the corporate world. People take your positive attitude and demeanor as complacency.

This is such an important lesson for people in general. You HAVE to advocate for yourself because no one is going to advocate for you if you don't. I loved you on the Niners, Raheem. It's an important note for leaders too. You have to knock on the door and see what's in there. Don't think cause ol' mate is always smiling or angry or sad that that is the truth. Give them an environment where they trust, and express. Good shot can come from that.

This is one of the things that makes Shanahan a great coach. He actually had that conversation and didn't just tell Mostert what he wanted to hear at that point, he addressed the issue and made the needed changes to unlock a running back who eventually paid that back by running all over the Packers in the playoffs.
You can see that change if you look at his numbers. A kick returner who was behind Breida and Morris in the depth chart and was called to action in week 5 of his second season in SF, fumbled the ball, a week later he was much better. It didn't take long for that change to happen.

    Raheem is 💯% Correct❗
Being Very Grateful still playing in the NFL and he's 31? Knowing there's 1000's, who never got their foot into the door, to be a NFL player.
Only a Man of GOD talks like that, because they know, that they are Very Blessed by The Lord... ☝️🙄
I'm glad he let Kyle know, his inner most feelings... and GOD Blessed him even more... he has more playing time, than he can ever imagine... 😁👍
I always liked Raheem Mostert, when he was a 49er! Much Respect! He Surfin in Miami... 🏄🏿‍♂️
Use Antonio Brown for example? Being Very UnGrateful of his Blessings! Look at his results!?

Homie you better put a little more respect on Kyle's name. Weren't for him you wouldn't be playing in the NFL. You earned everything you have but don't get it twisted..Kyle saved your career

You gotta. Understand coaches got 1000 ppl to look after.. unless ur a top guy or really flash in ur opportunity they arent just gonna force their way into ur microcosm , u have to get their attention. Almost like in school where they say u should go to office hours...once u go to office hours all the sudden the teacher understands u as a student and person and now has some desire to look after u

Reality check. There's 858 college football teams in America with two star running backs. There's 32 NFL teams with one star running back. You're one of them and you still honestly need a prep talk from a NFL coach to get motivated?🤔
You're a made man Raheem. You did that through your hard work and dedication. I am a long time 49er fan. All I can do is day dream what it must be like to start in the NFL. Appreciate it while you can and understand we ALL are replaceable. God bless you 🙏

Was sad when I read that Mostert got traded. Him & McCaffrey in the backfield would be insane

Mostert left Sf, went to Miami & promptly declared that they "have better talent" there. Not a classy move & it will always rub me the wrong way. You don't publicly throw shade on your former employer just because you're not there any more. It was SWEET when our team went to Miami & shredded them with our rookie 3rd string QB! Show me the better talent Raheem. I'm still waiting.

I'm not mad anymore but he demanded a big contract. Got it. Got Injured. Had a choice whether to toss the season or come back late in the Year. Tossed the season, cashed the Checks and we lost a close game in the NFC Title Game against the Rams. Then he left for Miami. But if he didn't leave we wouldn't have CMC. When he was healthy I always felt we had a chance to win. :-)

Bro they run Mostert in the superbowl like they did in the NFC championship they win that game.
