Shop looks great. Good to see you back at the office again. I might need to build me one of these, much more stout than what i have now.
Thanks! Having that concrete in there sure is nice, way easier to keep clean and now most tools and benches are on casters so i can roll them out of the way when not needed.
That grinder is crazy heavy duty, way over built even by my standards..lol
But it sure took a while to build at roughly 5 days! If i was to do it again id get the cnc cut files and get everything lazer cut, would save a ton of time!

That is a nice machine. I just got done building the housemade grinder and am really liking it. I really like his design though. That kid is a smart cookie. I am working on a stand for mine right now on casters that retract to put it on rubber feet. I'm also building it with a 4x8 tubing riser sandwiched with angel iron that has a bottle jack under the 4x8 tubing to be able to adjust the height about 4 3/4". I don't have any experience with these 2x72 grinders but from what I've read on posts it is pretty important to have the height just right therefore I decided to make it adjustable because I know I would have gotten it wrong and just dealt with it.
Keep the videos coming. I'm going to be working on either a gas forge or heat treat oven next. I really like your oven.
Yeah im gonna be building a stand for my grinder also, probably similar to what you are doing.

Well, thanks for loving the channel, but there is no way the wife would go winter camping with me and....unfortunately...i sold the FJ project, but i am starting a squarebody build. first episode comes out this saturday.

Hey Ron great job on the concrete and the grinder. sure hope we get to see some hunting. Had an a fantastic archery hunt in Sept PB Elk NT Whitetail 50 inch moose AAANNNDDD Saw lots of huge Big horns. Curious how you made out CYU
thanks, hunting season was for the most part a bust aside from myself and daughter getting a couple decent wt deer. people dont seem to want to watch my hunting videos, so i most likely will not edit any more of them.

Probably no chance as i really didnt video them. My wt grossed 156, ambers was 147, no monsters but decent bucks for around here
