Oh, man, I love that yarn bowl! I actually want it for my work desk. But it's also the perfect gift for a friend having a birthday who is the one who taught me how to crochet in the first place!

I’m using the radiant red lattice currently to make a baby blanket and I love it!
You had loved the lattice before so I used it as a suggestion. I completely agreed it’s sturdy but soft and I’m loving how it’s turning out! If you make pants I can’t wait to see them!
My favorite is still the mini-ish cauldron from Joann with the eye and stars. PERFECT for sock making.
Going camping this next week so I worked ahead on the blanket and am now on line 50. It's obsessively fun, and I want to make the black and red variation now too. The purple and green one will be great for the living room. while the red and black one will look amazing in my bedroom.

I went to Joann and passed on some fabric that I wanted since there wasn't enough and I did buy 8 skeins of Yarn 2 of the Lionbrand Fisherman's Wool 2 in the Natural color and 6 of the color Vamp in the Big Twist. I did see the yarn bowls and I decided to pass on them. I prefer wooden ones or something more solid. Also Skyla came with me and was a very good girl.
I was watching a crochet channel and a girl was making a C2C blanket of a black cat arching it's back with a purple background and it looked like it was on a tree limb. It was so cute
My dollar store put out their Halloween stuff, and there are soooo many cool things!! I had to hold myself back from buying the whole store!
I had this idea of using one of those cheap spiderweb bowl for a yarn bowl then attaching it to a turnable cake stand. That way if I was using more than one skein of yarn I could just turn the bowl around.
This is my birth month so I'm in the market for all the accessories and Halloween yarn for my birthday gifts :)

I just went to my Joann’s today and basically bought their entire stock of Big Twist Vamp for a cardigan, hat, and scarf combo for October. They also had the skull yarn bowl, a pretty iridescent bowl, and the cat yarn bowl. I’m going back later next week to buy the skull bowl and the cat bowl though.

I was only able to order a skull yarn bowl online, so it's getting shipped to me. I really, really hope it doesn't get broken in transit.
I would hope they pack it well too. Especially since it has the white glaze over it
@AltKnots I'm happy to say it arrived today without any damage! I have seen quite a few people complaining in Facebook groups that theirs are completely broken or have chipped teeth. The only thing wrong with mine are some rough edges inside but I can sand them.
That’s great! Mine had some rough edges on the inside teeth too from the store. Sanding worked really well for me🎃
I ordered one of the skulls because my local stores still haven't gotten them. I'm so scared it's going to arrive broken. I ordered a couple things of yarn with it so that there would be extra padding in the package, but they sent the yarn in two separate packages...
