Kayla, I'm with you regarding fringe and tassels. I don't care for them. I always feel like something is crawling on me if I have fringe and I don't like that feeling. I love all the hobbi Halloween color series but I'm on a yarn diet right now. I buy yarn faster than I knit stuff. Thanks for sharing especially for those who have never heard of hobbi and love Halloween. I haven't ordered from them yet but I'm sure I will sometime this year. For now I need to thin out my yarn herd.

I already ordered a cake of the Twister in the purple and black. I am so excited! I discovered the Lost Souls shawl/scarf on Ravalry, I'm already making one with a different yarn, but I cannot wait to make another with the Hobbii yarn! I also ordered the lattice yarn in the orange color way, I am going to have so many projects going 😅.
That's such a good yarn for he Lost Souls Shawl pattern. You can see the whole cake colorway worked up through out

I am really excited about the Friends Cotton Halloween Frenzy. I got a cotton lucky bag last November. It was all Friends Cotton in orange and black. I can't wait to get these Halloween colorways to mix with them. I can't use wool, polyester, or acrylic. I get really excited whenever I find spooky cotton yarn!

btw guys, dont use the friends cotton for socks unless you use an elastic for the cuff at the top! cotton will stretch and your socks wont fit right for long

wool is more suitable for hotter climates than acrylic. acrylic doesn't breathe
I'm in Florida and I'm gonna have to test that for our 3 cold months, lol.
@@lorebernier7208 yeah it would be a lot more pleasant with the humidity. I’m from a pretty humid part of Australia and even wearing an acrylic vest in autumn is not fun

Not at all🎃 You can use it for any project really. I’ve made sweaters, mittens and beanies from sock weight yarn.
I made a wool blanket for myself using sock yarn and it is my favorite one. It holds its shape well with the nylon.

@@Blankcr3fts I don't, but I only have merino wool with nylon. It's smoother than other wool plus washable.
