No clarifications around ...What are we looking to improve ? Which key metric/s are we looking to impact ? Are there any key constraints that I should be aware of ? Straightaway jumped into answering ..Also, should have brought up customer segmentation first.
I think he should have gone through the user personas, their journey and then come up with features. This felt very random. Though i liked the RICE framework
Hi Anvika, thanks for your feedback - I think your approach sounds strong although it could be hard to find the time to fit everything in? Given time limitations, we asked Damien to focus on demonstrating the RICE framework for people, which I think he did pretty well.
I agree with this comment. While I understand time constraints, it seems like an interviewer might respond poorly to jumping into features which is basically a list of solutions. How do we balance the time with not appearing to be "that" PM who just goes right to solutions?
Not a very well structured interview. It started well, but then jumped straight into solutioning. User personas, what are their pain points, what does their journey looks like, where can we impact a step change vs incremental improvement. Plus the RICE framework was not applied correctly.

Thank you so much
Glad we could help :)
great
Reach and Impact are not the same things. No one noticed that?
If I have unlimited engineering resources, why would I need to do prioritization? We can ship all of them :)
