I don't understand how all this original equipment, photographs, etc. all falling apart and in utter state of deterioration. Joseph Pilates made a huge contribution to humanity, why isn't all of this being preserved correctly? Why isn't this place a museum and historical archive? The Pilates industry all over the world is making millions of dollars, why isn't there a fund to preserve this place with the due respect and diligence? Sorry, but I am in shock.
Hi Dervil, that's correct but he also spent 15 years teaching over the summers at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival and this was his 'summer home' in the country. It's well documented in photos, videos and more.
