This was AWESOME! I never knew they were 2 color charts. I get Amy S. newsletter every Saturday and read about underpainting which is at the bottom. I'm sooo behind in your videos, glad I caught this one! Thank you💗💗 P.S. I liked the B60 hahaha!
Elena, so happy I caught your video. Who knew there was two different color wheels, amazing and so different. I love watching all your under painting videos. They just amaze me. I am a novice Copic lover. Been doing it for years but don't find/make the time needed to perfect it.
This was fantastic! It was so helpful to watch you go through the process of determining which marker to use for underpainting! I also appreciate watching you deal with your first marker. Next time, could you remove the nib on camera. Am I correct, you just used your fingers? 😳 I just ordered and received my first refills and have been reluctant to fill my markers.
I am glad you liked it ! Yes I just used my fingers, I used to get a piece of paper to do it but I still got some ink on me so I just remove it now and later clean my fingers with alcohol. I will make more videos showing this process and will show you how I remove it :) it’s easier and faster :)
You weighted your marker. Can you tell me more about that? How much should they weigh and is weighing them a good way to know if they need refilling? I'm new at this. Thanks.
Yes I do this all the time :) A brand new sketch marker weights around 14.4 and they are juicy and at their optimal to color so I always keep them at least at 14.1 and no less. I was having issues with this marker and the problem was not the ink amount but the nib, in next weeks video you will see how it glides way easier since I changed the nib.
Thank-you Elena ~ This gives a good view of the time-intensive, trial & error preparations that go into beautiful results. Much appreciated!
Thank you for watching !

Where did you get the CMY color wheel? I've never seen that one before. Love your videos and your flicking is awesome!
