I felt pity for the dad of the family. I didn’t want to imagine myself going through that pain. I never again drove. I prefer taking public transit now.

The dog surviving doesn't actually surprise me. I had a bunch of dogs as a kid, and one of them ate an entire apple core my dad left out, got into a box of chocolates, and ran into the street chasing a squirrel and got ran over, and that one dog is the one still alive out of the rest of them passing of old age

I had a pitt bull that liked to bolt as soon as someone opened the door. Whenever someone new would come over, they would always let him out and he would bolt to a dog park across from a highway from our house. He got hit by vehicles 3 times. The guy always just shook it off, and even lived to be almost 15 years old. Loved that dog. Didn't calm down until he was almost 8 though. He was so fast for a bulky meat head.
my baby boy (lab) got hit by a car going about 20mph and walked it off like it was nothing. only lost one tooth, tiny cut under his eye, and his foot was hurt for like week. (which was godsend at the time, could have been way worse) that was early 2021. then we started noticing when he got to hyper/excited he would have pretty scary seizures. going anywhere out of the ordinary, too many people or new dogs around him, he would seize. this only started after the accident. he is doing great and is healthy but can't go out and do knew things because of his seizures which sucks :( little side note: I don't blame the drivers my street has a slight curve and my dog at the worst possible moment slipped by a family member when they were opening the door. they stopped to see if he was okay. but man was that one of the most stressful moments of my life. gotta be careful driving especially in rural areas.
Prefacing this storytime with the “but somehow she was totally fine” ending, just like the dog in the video’s story. My dog was hit by a speeding vehicle once also (50% our fault as we didn’t stop the dog running onto the road), and she went flying like a frisbee (or more like that spin-docking scene from Interstellar) and landed hard in the concrete gutter. She made horrific yelping and crying sounds that I still remember now 25 years later. She was in a panic and wouldn’t stop biting herself where it hurt her as she didn’t know what to do. And I can still picture her flying through the air. Sadly it’s one of my few really clear memories from that stage of growing up. But yeah… after we calmed her down from the shock and the immediate pain subsided… she was totally fine. I still don’t understand it, but am so grateful for it.

Thank ye both. The only thing that came close to the fear of the worst was the relief when everything was confirmed as okay. She was the runt of the litter and physically the smallest (...along with being the cutest and one with the most personality!) and even already had a little kink to the way she walked before the accident , but the hit didn't seem to worsen that thankfully. What's a little rough atm is RUclips is currently recommending me videos from 15 years ago of baby puppies learning to walk down stairs and do other cute things. But that's long enough ago now that said pups have already lived out their full life and moved on :( dog years are the worst :(

Hello writing from Poland here. The Dog is alive and okay, the only injury it got is in the paw. The girl said she will cover all the money for the healing. The neighbours have been giving complaints about the owners sending the dogs loose, but of course this does not makes the streamer innocent as it is essential for driver to have all focus behind the wheel. my baby boy (lab) got hit by a car going about 20mph and walked it off like it was nothing. only lost one tooth, tiny cut under his eye, and his foot was hurt for like week. (which was godsend at the time, could have been way worse) that was early 2021. then we started noticing when he got to hyper/excited he would have pretty scary seizures. going anywhere out of the ordinary, too many people or new dogs around him, he would seize. this only started after the accident. he is doing great and is healthy but can't go out and do knew things because of his seizures which sucks :( little side note: I don't blame the drivers my street has a slight curve and my dog at the worst possible moment slipped by a family member when they were opening the door. they stopped to see if he was okay. but man was that one of the most stressful moments of my life. gotta be careful driving especially in rural areas.

Prefacing this storytime with the “but somehow she was totally fine” ending, just like the dog in the video’s story.
My dog was hit by a speeding vehicle once also (50% our fault as we didn’t stop the dog running onto the road), and she went flying like a frisbee (or more like that spin-docking scene from Interstellar) and landed hard in the concrete gutter. She made horrific yelping and crying sounds that I still remember now 25 years later. She was in a panic and wouldn’t stop biting herself where it hurt her as she didn’t know what to do. And I can still picture her flying through the air. Sadly it’s one of my few really clear memories from that stage of growing up. But yeah… after we calmed her down from the shock and the immediate pain subsided… she was totally fine. I still don’t understand it, but am so grateful for it.
It's the lottery of life... sometimes you fall down a step and break your neck and die, sometimes you crash into a building but walk away unscathed. Glad to hear your dog was okay :)

Thank ye both. The only thing that came close to the fear of the worst was the relief when everything was confirmed as okay.
She was the runt of the litter and physically the smallest (...along with being the cutest and one with the most personality!) and even already had a little kink to the way she walked before the accident , but the hit didn't seem to worsen that thankfully.
What's a little rough atm is RUclips is currently recommending me videos from 15 years ago of baby puppies learning to walk down stairs and do other cute things. But that's long enough ago now that said pups have already lived out their full life and moved on :(

Charlie if there is one thing i want you to note from the Polish Dog Story is to talk about how they should of had their dog within a fence or house, clearly in the image there is a gate so there must be a closed in fence for it to be behind and if not the owner is at fault as well for having it roam free.

The neighbours have been giving complaints about the owners sending the dogs loose, but of course this does not makes the streamer innocent as it is essential for driver to have all focus behind the wheel. Edit: Although Tyler technically did start it with by asking him if he faked his videos (which is obviously true and people who fake videos should be exposed because they just take away credibility from the hard workers) but Brent and his group of a-holes clearly blew it out of proportion and continuously harassed Tyler when he tried to stay out of their way (small hotel, crossed paths etc.) and then acted like the victims toward the police. And although Tyler could've been refunded, if he wasn't Brent basically took away Tyler's video and around $400 of his own money because he couldn't handle being called out.
