As Blacks we have a sense of being accommodated not belonging in the Social structure and superstructure of South Africa. Underline accommodated, Tolerated, .If there is progress, why is it that only Blacks in SA are the only ones crazy about Reconciliation day. Until the White community and their civic groups take a bold stand to apologies for the atrocities committed by ancestors , there is no progress. Blacks are ready to forgive, move on and remove BEE policy. Instead, the white community is quick to cry foul on BEE yet they cant apologies. @@Coach_Baltazar Sad to hear, you are not alone tho. I have been feeling the same way with the relationship between the settlers and Indigneous peoples of Canada, seems to be one sided reconciliation. Beautiful song tho really great!

The year was 2008, I was in first grade and the grade 7 choir sang this song. I can't remember the occasion but it was raining and the spiritual atmosphere was something indescribable. 16 years later, I still get chills whenever I think about that day.
Look at how happy they are when singing in our own language ❤️ lapho we are not even proud of who are n we even fail to embrace our cultures as blacks... Kulele kunye ukube kubili kyasana
How many of you noticed there was an Alto 1 and Alto 2 part? Listen carefully tot he Alto's towards the end with the sopranos and tenors...listen for the Dominant 7th before the cadence.

Congratulations¡¡ I think it is a great exercice of the 'vertical hemiolia', singing in the beat of 6x8 and moving bodies and hand-clapping in a beat of 4x8. It's not easy¡¡
Olegario Olayo Martínez my school choir is doing this song for our spring concert. It’s written in 12/8, so it sounds almost like triplets in 4/4 and they’re clapping on the accented beats
The way the altos carried the choir through this entire song! 💪
Most diverse choir, this shows how our country is progressing. Love South Africa
Not really.. It's mostly white people..

What diversity? It's mostly white people and a few black people. There are no Indians, Coloureds, or East Asians

I wish South Africa can be known as a country full of life and the last Eden of Africa and no racial slurs
unfortunately that's not going to happen until there real equality in South Africa...
@@ruemissm6800 funny thing is the slurs don't even come from us even though we're the ones that are disadvantaged

Those Three Guys their ending DAMN Broes You need BELLS
Dude! I almost fell off my chair. :)
wow
amazing. brilliant. not sure the 3 boys echoing worked for me. otherwise awesome work.
I totally agree with you, especially the part where they echoed "Hosanna", their voice texture didn't do it for me...maybe the first guy was okay.
However, their melodic split at the end to create a triadic harmony was perfect.
Chukwuebuka Ezeakacha same here, the first one was superb, they shouldn't have echoed hosanna, otherwise 🔥🔥🔥
Wow, might start watching this channel🙌🏿🙌🏿
I need this version in my music playlist! Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
