#Marvel #Comics #MODOK - Развлечения
Hey, heroes! I'm streaming on Twitch again this weekend! On Saturday I'll be continuing my very first playthrough of Final Fantasy! Then on Sunday we're getting close to the end of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!
www.twitch.tv/merrymarvelite
Wait! who named the founders of aim after two of the biggest names in funk music? Bernie worrell and George Clinton!
Could you PLEASE do the History & Origins of Cloak & Dagger for me okay
MerryMarvalite.
that was incredibly convoluted!
While MODOK's a classic, his Earth's Mightiest Heroes counterpart was hilarious, part of me also like Monica.
“Beware my frightfully large head!” Gotta love the writing from the 70’s and 80’s 😂
When does he say that? Timestamp?
I'm old school. I like MODOK as the head of AIM.
Such a fascinating look at a cornerstone of Marvel villainy. AIM is ever evolving and thus ever relevant in the Marvel Universe.
You've got me itching to see a video on the history of the various COSMIC CUBES now. (Including Jim Starlin's attempt to rebrand them as " Cosmic Containment Devices".)
And don't forget about RED NORVELL, the red headed Thor stand in. He still needs a video.
As always MAKE MINE THE MERRY MARVELITE!!!!
I agree 100%! I love Modok as the leader of A.I.M.!
Quite 'nuff said!
Then you must have hate MODOK in Antman 3 then.
@@shawn092182 That wasn't Modok. That was some Not Brand Ecch parody. I wouldn't go to see that movie if I was paid to see it. Modok looked like he came out of a comedy movie. So sad.
I like MODOK as the true leader and face of the operation, but Monica technically holding the Scientist Supreme title.
I didn't think AIM had this much history, especially with internal struggles for leadership. It's pretty cool. Modok might be the most iconic of the leaders, and Forson has a cool looking armor based on the AIM uniform, but Monica Rappaccini is my favorite of the leaders.
Truly old school right here!
I am 100% convinced that Kirby and Lee were influenced by the James Bond movie Dr. No when they invented A.I.M. That movie came out in 1962 and by 1966 we had A.I.M. agents in beehive suits that look almost exactly like they did in the movie. Furthermore, just like in the movie, A.I.M. agents were shortly after show in white and blue suits, white and purple suits, white and fuchsia suits. Dr. No's A.I.M. looking scientists worked for SPECTRE, while A.I.M. was a subsidiary branch of THEM. It just seems sensible that this is where Kirby got his inspiration.
Another 'Art imitates Life' moment-or is it the other way around?
Why NOT??!!!
Honestly, my favorite AIM leader is Baron Von Strucker! Forson's armor is cool and all but his era is filled with SO MUCH in-fighting!!
Missed this one.but youtube finally showed me this in my feed. Maybe the algorithm gods will bless you.
Monica. She actually seems the most capable and ruthless.
Thanks for vid!
Perhaps at some point in the future you could do videos on other villainess organizations in Marvel such as Hydra, the Secret Empire, or even the Hand.
Maybe even some more heroic organizations as well, like SHIELD.
Andrew Forson was my favorite, probably because how difficult he was in Secret Avengers.
I love the idea that A.I.M. is trapped in an endless cycle of of enslavement and revolution with their greatest creation M.O.D.O.K.. Just can't help burning themselves in the same fire over and ovet
I've collected and read comics most of my life. But this channel is the best historical Marvel channel hands down! I save a month's worth of content and watch it all at once. Great stuff keep it coming!
Cool to hear about the villians fighting each other. I had no idea MODOK did any of that.
I have a great MODOK story from Sub-Mariner Vol 1 in which MODOK battles Dr. Doom for the cosmic cube with Subby caught in the middle.
During the rise of Krakoa at least a portion of AIM became the dominant share of the new anti-mutant organization Orchis with MODOK become one of their head science officials
I sure hope the serpent society (and maybe even the crown) makes it into the MCU… guess it’s just nostalgia 😊
Serpent society apparently have a roll in the upcoming captain America movie
Lmaooo
PUBABWOOOM...that's just a chef's kiss of onomatopoeia.
The 2 of the 3 escapees are in the Funk band Parliament! George Clinton and Bernard Worrill😂😂😂😂
AIM has always been a MODOK thing for me - both acronyms and science oriented
For the longest time, whenever we get an AIM story, it's usually right before the s___t hits the fan. Their greatest successes involve the creation of MODOK, who never stays under their control for very long, and the Cosmic Cubes, which constantly get stolen from them.
Kinda like the Commission for Superhuman Affairs, which only become the focus of a story when they totally screw up. Like the infamous Captain America-Gets-Replaced-By-John-Walker storyline.
Ah the banana bandits! Always a good group to push around
Great video as always. Increasingly modern Marvel retcons completely contradict everything that came before. Really wish they'd hire somebody like MerryMarvellite in editorial.
Your channel is underrated and I will do my part to boost it!
Engagement!
I really want to see this group, like Roxxon in the MCU,They could be introduced in the second season of Hawkeye and Armor Wars the War Machine movie It's an interesting idea to bring the Dead villains back As:
Ultron,Modook,Justin Hammer, the Claw,Crossbones,Taskmaster,Batroc and Arnin zola With yours classic costumes And robot form That I've been waiting for years Giving these secondary discarded villains a second chance And Introduce news villains like the Grim Reaper and Swordsman 🤔😁👍 like and Bye!
As always, a high quality presentation of key points in a Marvel topic. The early stories and conspiracies are the best.
Been waitin’ for this one
George Clinton and Bernard Worrell are named after two musicians from Parliament Funkadelic.
Also, Monica!
Good eye/ears funkateer!
But I believe that I had called them out first. But it's ok! I'm not greedy!
Still Funkin' w/ the Bigg Foot Jerome Brailey-"Mutiny!"
Can you do history of the characters mentioned in this video?
Are you going to do history of whoever was second in last month's patreon poll between Man Wolf, Tyrannus and Firebird next?
This video was absolutely amazing and awesome. I don't know that much information about A.I.M. and through this video, I learned a lot.
You just blow my mind w you're videos! Always cool...
Why have I never come across this channel before? Awesome stuff I love obscure marvel stuff..
Another great video
Modok is by far the best. Not like the best for AIM but for us the readers and the entertainment value
Thank you so much 😊
Can you do history of Ironheart, Amatsu-Mikaboshi, Arno_Stark Iron Man, Squirrel_Girl, Constrictor, Deathlok, Amadeus_Cho, the Griever, Pepper Potts AKA Rescue and the Agents of Atlas along with Crescent, Morgan_Le_Fey, White Fox and Luna Snow?
Thanks!
great vid
Hey wasn't that Monica Rappaccini aka Madam Masque previously?
If anyone deserves over 100k subscribers it’s this guy
Besides Modok, Who do you think is the best leader of A.I.M? Since you did the history of Modok and Samuel Stern the Leader, Are you going to history of Intelligencia and it's members?
Also are you going to do history of other evil organizations like the Masters of Evil, Serpent Society, the Cabal and so on?
What would have happened if this origin video of A.I.M was included in the history of Modok which you did a while back? Are you going to do history of Modok Superior?
Will you make video about elder gods? Gaea, Osthur, Demiurge, Atum, Cathon and Set
Probably Modok as leader of aim because at least he's big giant head.
It can't be just me but does every Scientist Supreme have a crazy name lol
I hope you take on Hydra next!
This was sweet 😊
Great one again Man if the MCU would base there movie & shows more on there comics books The DCU would be in serious trouble
good report bro
I got modok and 2 supreme scientists, that s the period I like best
modok is def in charge, and independent of Hydra
I just need troops for them now
in the meanwhile, they cooperate with Cobra and Dr mindbender,
Joes are my main universe, I have no shield yet...
Hydra needs troops too, both have to work with Cobra, for now...
until they re strong enough to go for their own agenda.
thanks for the infos bro!
so now you know...
good show bro
M.O.D.O.K. all day, baby!!!
I remember reading in a flashback story the Black Panther's father or the Black Panther first found A.I. M.
Correction. I meant to type fought.
george clinton and berhard worrell?-the author seemed to be a parliament/funkedelic fan
Man i wish aim is in the MCU
What would have happened if that S.H.I.E.L.D Agent who got turned into another Modok at 10:01 because a love interest for Modok?
What's the best thing about Modam who's the opposite of Modok?
Are you going to do history of lesser known characters like Rom_the_Spaceknight, Stingray, Ultimo, Inferno, Zora_Vukovic Victorious, Flerken, Blacklash, Deathlok, Elematrix, Vertigo, Masked Raider, Red_Wolf, Tarantula, Forge, Bishop, Titanium_Man, Crimson Dynamo, Dreadknight, Deathcry, Kobik AKA the Cosmic Cube, Blizzard, Quasar, Starbrand, Nightmask, Bastion, Master Mold, Nimrod, Starhawk, Fixer, Whirlwind, Chemistro, Whiplash, the Controller, Madam_Masque, Count_Nefaria, Ava Ayala the White Tiger, Crossfire, Living Laser, Century, Lore and Technovore?
Great video and topic. I always think that AIM, is and was a very powerful group. And to think that its normal humans that accomplished so much in the Marvel Universe. Love to hate them. Thanks
I miss the old Nick Fury, before the movies.
Yes in fact the origin of modok did mention that alm had more than one ledre
this channel is great
Are you going to do history of Ironheart, M'Baku, Namora, Attuma and Shuri as the Black Panther since they played a major role in the Black Panther Wakanda Forever movie?
Hit the mark again!
~_~
Can you do history of the Elementals(Hellfire, Magnum, Hydron and Zephyr), Bastion, Master Mold, Nimrod, Inferno, Zora_Vukovic Victorious, Night Nurse, Moondragon, Phyla_Vell and Genis-Vell along with the Supreme Intelligence, Puppet_Master, Diablo, Mole_Man and Angel Salvador/Tempest along with Exodus and Ex-Nhilo?
How many of you remember seeing A.I.M making their MCU debut in Iron Man 3 which belonged to Aldrich Killian? They didn't have guys in beekeeper suits and Modok who appeared much later with a different origin story
Can you do history of the Living_Brain, the Elementals, Cyclone, Hydro Man, Molten Man, Puck, Sandman, Rom_the_Spaceknight, Stingray, Quasar, Starbrand, Nightmask, Ava Ayala the White Tiger, Crossfire, Living Laser, Century, Lore and Technovore?
Science fiction is now science fact! Marvel knew how to hide truth in plain site back in the 1960s to now! Incredible
Dang how many modoks were there aim that’s what it means totally wicked dude modok I thought he was the leader or at least something close to it
Boca Caliente has to be the name of a taco shop across from Marvel Offices.
Can you do history of Master Pandemonium, Sleepwalker, D'Spayre, Lilith, Chthon, Mephisto, Black heart, Dormammu, Doyle Dormammu, Clea, Nightmare and Pkzkrfmknna along with Firestar and Vance_Astrovik AKA Justice?
So when are you going to do history of Zora_Vukovic Victorious since you did the history of Dr_Doom?
can you do a video on cubic?
I would join AIM in a heartbeat if Monica was my boss 🥴
But hey, I’m sure someone’s into the big head in a robot chair 😊
We are the most brilliant minds in the world. So could one of you explain how come we can't quit fighting among ourselves long enough to conquer the Earth?
Do one about Monica please
lots of insane names in this one haha
What do you think is the best thing about A.I.M(Advanced Idea Mechanics) in the comics? Which one of their powers and resources is the best?
Hey 👋
Have a movie about HYDRA & AIM then the Secrect Society starting during WWII to present day.
Long live modok
The big brains group lol
I've always liked M.O.D.O.K., but more because he is so goofy and often accidentally entertaining. If I had to pick, I would give the point for Best A.I.M. Leader to Monica, she is the character I always think of when asking the question, "Who is the Scientist Supreme?"
George Clinton and Bernie Worrell are the creative team behind Parliament Funkadelic, just iffn you didn't know.
Which faction of A.I.M is the best as well as who's the best member from each of them?
Jesus, and here I thought my company was messed up.
Is A.I.M the Marvel version of DC's H.I.V.E? Which organization do you think is the most powerful and would win against each other?
'THIS CHANNEL IS EXCELSIOR' ..
So tell us who's the Parliament/Funkadelic fan, aka "Funkateer" around the ol' Marvel Playhouse?
George Clinton. Bernard Worrell of AIM fame. So who and when was that slipped in there?
"BERNARD"??
Why so formal?
He's ALWAYS been just ol' Bernie to us Original funkateers from wwwaaayyy backkkk when-like 1971-ish 'when' that is....
Been a member of the Merry band of Marvelites since he'll, since '62, at least since I had inherited a whole boxcar load of vintage comic books from older relatives. Then Marvel stunned my senses. Parliament/Funkadelic and Marvel comics-wot in the World could ever go wrong I plead? 😂😮
George Clinton and Bernard Worrell. How did 2 Parliament-Funkadelic guys get involved in AIM? Or is this a coincidence? 😂Lol
Lmao!!! I thought I was the only one caught that😂😂😂😂
Dr. Funkenstein was secretly the scientist supreme
Thank you! I applaud you for catching that!
I think the writers were fans of Parliament.
I prefer.........
The super adaptiod!
Why The Hell Would AIM resurrect Modok After What He Did
George Clinton and Bernard Worrell are members of parliament/Funkadelic...imagine the coincidence. 😂
Was just about to mention this , no coincidence I thinks
@@ewantait4525 someone was into the P funk over at Marvel Comics.
MODOK!!!!!!!
Gotta go with MODOK. Dude is nothing if not persistent
M.O.D.O.K
MODOK is AIM
MODAM funny
Supposably? Not Supposedly?
Nerdgasm
I prefer MODOK.
I’m such a lucky gal for being able to kiss M.O.D.O.K….
George Clinton survived through the power of Funk and escaped on The Mothership
I prefer the woman 👠
3rd
George Clinton accomplished a lot of thngs
Lol
