      Well actually, a hell of a lot more is going on including the production of individual organelle such as mitochondria from protein printing out of amino acids inside organelles, mitochondria producing self-assembling lipid membranes, the electron transport chain in the mitochondria, fusion cell surface receptors, nuclear hormone receptors, other immune cells, vaso-dilation and contraction, nerve signals, and changes to epigenetics, activation of proteins that receive signalling metabolites, and so forth. It is layers upon layers upon layers of complexity.

    • @SimonWoodburyForget
      @SimonWoodburyForget 3 года назад +2

      @@Singleraxis It's not harmonized or good at doing what it does. Most humans die within a few year and weaken as they get older. This is because your body is incapable of maintaining homeostasis forever, and consequently fails to adapt for ever. Your body is essentially built to die, due to the enormous amount of complexity that somehow manages to make it work, and it's not just extremely complex but it's actually needlessly complex, in that majority of what your body does, it does very poorly.
      For example, your visual cortex happens to be at the back of your brain for whatever reason, and sex is something your brain wants all the time, despite it only being a thing you should want to do two to three times in your life, and your digestive system somehow managed to forget how to produce vitamin C, which happens to be a critical for your body to function, and the brain can't even function properly without a daily quantity of locomotive activities, eventually resulting in depression and anxiety disorders, because those are things you want if you're sick and trying to avoid spreading a disease.
      This is largely why it is easy to understand how this is essentially all just evolutionary adaptations.

    So, when you work out, you feel this pain because of the myoblasts doing its job? Interesting.

      No. There are many factors at play that may cause doms, but repair itself isn’t a cause.

      You feel pain because the nerve cells of the outer sheath detect damage (or over accumulation of free proton from high levels of lactic acid), not from the myoblasts which do not signal pain at all. You would hurt much more if the myoblasts did not end the pain signals by repairing the tissue.

    After a heavy workout my pectoral and triceps hurt meaning some of the fibers are still torn so it will take a long time to regenerate the fully torn fibers and the damaged fibers

    This was amazingly educational. Now I understand what happens when I exercise. Thanks for the video, I really liked learning about this. Also, I liked the sound effects, they added a nice cherry on top.

    So what comes from it? Any info of how to prevent declining at old age? Should we train more for bigger muscles to prevent decline of their numbers during aging or instead train less to prevent damadging of muscles. Great job but I would like to see some conclusions.
