Good evening dear friend, very nice review of this overdrive pedal. It sounds great and I fully agree with you that it is intended for almost all musical styles. The control options are quite OK and allow almost everyone to figure out their own sound. He convinced me of his qualities with his speech, so the slightly higher price is probably okay. Greetings Pavel CZ.👍👍👍
This pedal sounds very good. It's also very versatile. I was on their website and the Daily Driver Boost is very interesting, especially for the more heavy stuff.
Yep, totally agree... the Daily Driver Boost is the natural next step I think ;) With the Daily Driver plus those extra 27 dB you can really make it do anything!
Thanks, good sir! Yes, this one is a fantastic pedal indeed. I think the only thing that could make it better would be to add the Boost pedal in... as they've just done with the Daily Driver Booster! Would really like to try that one next.
It is definitely the best Swiss Army Knife-in-a Box for your board. Even in a niche style it can boost or be boosted when stacked with other Drives to solve a problem. It can even be pulled back as an always on pedal when using others kit. If you need it to do just a bit more you can get it with a clean boost that works with the dirt or on its own.
Totally agree - this is one that you can use in so many situations to sound better. From the always on clean boost to the higher gain drive stuff, it all just works! I love it, and like you say, the only thing that might improve it is that Booster side. I guess I need to investigate the Daily Driver Booster next :)
@@RichWordsMusic The compressor is under the radar. Iy looks simple but it works dynamically like an amp not flat like even the pricy big names in comps.
@@Paul_Lenard_Ewing The compressor is on my list to try too, as is his Klon-type. It does come across really well in the vids I've seen, for the reasons you suggest! Would be great if there was a showroom/place over here in Europe where you could actually try the pedals out a bit.

Great review as always. Very nice sounding pedal, both on the Tele and your LP.. really versatile indeed.

Daily Driver, what a nice and no nonsense name 🤠
Yep, you know exactly what you're getting with this! It fits perfectly.

They came out a few months ago, with the new model, that has also a booster
I know, I'd love to give that one a try as well! The Boost side would be perfect for when you just need a little bit more :)
👍🏻👍🏻
