you know someone's good at accordion when they don't slow down or pause as they play, they use more than one note at a time on the right, or they use the left side to play part of the counter-melody. this guy does all 3. bravissimo!
@Deckof51 "The Halls of Montezuma". It's the first line of the hymn. "From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli. We will fight our country's battles in the air, on land and sea."
@littleamigo926 Yeah, I'll never forget a clip I saw of "AGT" in which two accordion players did a duet. First of all, as soon as they appeared, one of the judges put his head in his hands and hit the buzzer before they even started. They started playing and (I don't know how credible I am, but,) they were GOOD, far better than anything I could've performed. They were immediately buzzed off by all three judges because (and I quote), "The only thing worse than an accordion is 2 accordions".
Oh I like to watch you play, looks so complicated! How you don't make one mistake I'll never know. I can't stop making them when I'm playing my accordion :(
Hello, could you explain a little bit more what the cable plug to the computer. When you said it records what you play you mean only the audio or does it actually have a software that will allow to see what keys and buttons you played and show them to you on some type of tablature? I have been trying to figure out if something like this can be done. Thank you.
well played. I do the same thing on the steam calliope - but I only have 2 and half octaves and even some of those notes don't play all that well. I have also been toying with the idea of an accordion, and yours interesting in that it doesn't have to be squoze. Plus direct in sure gives a perfectly balanced sound.
@Lahirien Already did that, and that alone lowered the CPU's temperature by 10 degrees. The computer has a fan in the back, a fan on the top, two fans on the video cards, and a fan on the side. Also, I removed the walls of it and have a huge table fan blowing through it as well. And even that's barely enough to keep it cool enough to run in hot weather. Yeah, it has a heating problem.
They already do. Every year at the New York City Veteran's Day Parade, there's at least a couple dozen bagpipers playing the various Armed Forces songs.
@FromTheGang thats a bit rediculous. now i cant go on that show! no, im not even anywhere near as good as you yet, and had no intentions on being on tv. thats just terrible though.

My father always sang Wild Blue Yonder. He flew a P-51D Mustang, when he was in the air corps. You played them all nicely.
Your accordion sound permeates my heart.
I enjoy your accordion playing from Japan.

That was beautifully done! Great job!!!
That was pretty good. In my ears, you didn't rush so it was more clear than other accordion players on youtube to be honest.

@FromTheGang i need not worry about overheating issues. my computer has many fans and a liquid cooling system. but it was a custom build.

Isn't the marine's hymn also something to do with Montezuma? Or that's the other name?
@highlandssax08 Haha yeah. It was just sitting in the box my computer came in among other assorted cords. I've had it for years and never knew it XD
