    Today I fitted a DNA Performance air filter and NGK Iridium spark plugs (separate video, link below when uploaded). I hope this helps you out, or you find it interesting to watch. Anything you want to know ask below and I'll do my best to answer.
    Seat bracket bolts are 10mm, could not find the torque settings for them in the Haynes manual (searched every section), I would say 10-15 Nm would be okay, use blue locktight to prevent them vibrating lose if you want.
    Please give a thumbs up and let me know what you think, you could subscribe too if you like, thanks for watching.
    I decided to get some merchandise set up on teespring with my logo as it is free to do, let me know what you think below and purchase some if you like 😉👍

    Just did this on my 2019. This is WAYYYY easier than the newer bikes, I'm envious lol

      You'd think they would find ways to make it even easier, not harder wouldn't you! That was an easy bike to work on, had it pretty much totally stripped down to engine, frame and front end during first lockdown. Thanks for watching and commenting still 👍

      @@HalfdeadRider You'd think so lol but apparently looks are more important than functionality or ease of maintenance. Realistically, the extra fairing bits on current generation 650s are unnecessary because these bikes really aren't race bikes, just standard bikes with fairings. I would much rather prefer a simple fairing and tank setup like yours. How many miles/KMs are on it now? Just rolled over 12k miles on mine

      @@wrenchrat when I sold it in March it had about 21-22k miles on it. They are great fun bikes due to the torque, not great top end, but getting there is great fun. I have a ZX9r now, an even older bike (21 y/o), but a very good one.

    It’s surprisingly thin
    the MT one is round
    Probably slightly bigger than say a fist 👊
    It can be tricky to position a camera when trying to show something that is hidden from view
    I dropped my first action camera on its lens scratching it when I did the mivv vid
    great vid 👍

      You do get all kinds of weird shape filters. Positioning cameras can be a pain for some things on bikes, some are worse than others as you know.
      I've dropped my camera loads of times and expected the lens to be scratched or cracked, I've been lucky so far 👍

    Does the tank needs to Be drained for this?

    • @HalfdeadRider
      @HalfdeadRider  3 года назад +1

      No, but the thing is, the more fuel the heavier it will be. My tank had a fair bit of fuel still in it so I just had to be a bit more careful moving it around and putting it down, prop it up using some wood so the fuel pump does not get damaged. Thanks for watching.
