    I picked one up at Walmart Saturday. They aren’t easy to find. If you see it and want one, grab it! I made a huge breakfast on it Sunday. Love it. And clean up is so quick and easy.

    Picked up the Eseries and the Griddle tool kit. Found a silicone scraper on Amazon that works great and is helpful on that really slick service. You are so right about food headin for the grease trap. Cooking tortelini is like playin the old electric football games where the players ran all over the board. I bought a SS grease gate and cut 3/4 of an inch off to work on the Eseries and it is about 1/16 of an inch above the surface so it does not scrape it, works super. Love the two zones for heat control. My only complaint, when I went to buy the Breakfast blend you used, they no longer stock it i guess and that is a frustration with Blackstone and their spices. Griddle on.

    • @TheCrazyPop
      @TheCrazyPop  Год назад +2

      I now use a grease trap guard from Griddle Goalie. I just have to hang it on there backwards. You are right, it is so slick, the food just slides everywhere...lol. Look at Lowes, the Breakfast Blend is called Lumberjack now. Tastes the same!!

    • @cedaroakfarm8596
      @cedaroakfarm8596 Год назад

      @@TheCrazyPop , great thank you, I did get the Lumberjack. I also found a silicone scraper from Amazon that is perfect for the ESeries. Rather than holding two spatulas, the scraper makes the mechanics of food control a little easier.

    Hi, I enjoy watching your content and I debating to purchase me a Blackstone Griddle. Can you tell me how is the non-stick coating? Do you have an idea how long does it last? I do not want to make a purchase and within a few months the non-stick is coming off and the food is sticking, like with most pans.
    Thanks

    • @TheCrazyPop
      @TheCrazyPop  Год назад +1

      Hey, This a ceramic coating that makes it non stick and it is very slick. I don't use this griddle much so mine is still in good shape, but to be honest, others I know that have this griddle have experienced some discoloring of the surface, but haven't heard of any sticking problems. the main issue I have with this electric is temp control. Overall, I like this griddle, but the gas models are better if you will be using this outdoors. I hope this helps!!

      @sbradshaw1886 2 года назад

      NEVER use metal or it will damage the non-stick surface. Blackstone didn't release the useless $20 3-piece set until people started reporting the "issues". Don't waste $20 just go to Dollar Tree or use what you have at home

    Hello! I just purchased this same Blackstone electric grill today as it was on clearance for $103. I was wondering, how are you liking it 2 years later? Is it worth having? I ask because after purchasing I read a lot of complaints about the grill not staying at temp or getting hot enough. I’d love your input. Love your videos. Thank you!

    I really like Blackstone products and really like the idea of the E-Series griddles. The problem I've seen, over and over, is that the griddles never reach the higher temps. Turn it to 400 or 500 and let it claim it's at temp and then check it with a laser thermometer and you'll see a WILD mix of temperatures... usually about HALF of what you dialed in. It's crazy. The gas grills they produce do NOT have this issue.

    • @TheCrazyPop
      @TheCrazyPop  Год назад +1

      LOL, You don't season a Blackstone Electric (E Series) griddle as the cooking surface is coated in a non stick Teflon like coating. It is ready to cook on straight out of the box. It is just a VERY SLICK surface.

    Garbage..I have the 22" version.. After using the griddle for 3 heavy cooks (about 10 steaks each cookout).. The griddle shuts down by itself every 5 minutes after about 5 to 10 minutes of cook time....These are total garbage.. I can do better with a cheap countertop electric skillet..
