Light phenomenon starts at 3:30 PM. The sun of the late afternoon creates the illusion of a snake creeping slowly down the northern staircase. At first no shadow is cast. As time pass, the corners of the pyramids platform cast a shadow along the staircase forming triangles. This continues until the staircase is completely covered up by the shadow. After this effect only the snake head is visibly by the light, a short while later it will also be cover by the casted shadow. Ends at 5:00 PM.

Amazing
Ancient Serpent statues all over the world. Egypt pharaohs serpents on the head crowns. Step pyramid in Mexico that cast a shadow in the shape of a Serpent down the steps to a stone carved head of a Serpent 2 times a year at the Equinox. India ancient temples with Serpents carved in stone. Every year China parades Serpents through the streets celebrating the Serpent and claiming their people came from Serpents. Angkor Wat ancient Serpent Statues. Serpent Mounds in North America. Ancient ruins that line up with the Draco constellation, Draco meaning Serpent in Greek.
Rev 12:9 The great *dragon* was hurled down-that ancient *serpent called the devil, or Satan,* who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Co 4:4 in whose case the **god of this world (Serpent god Satan)** has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Satan that old Serpent is the god of this world.
This world and all flesh on it is cursed to die.
Jesus the Holy God whose kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36) but in the spirit realm where there is no flesh to die came and took sinners place on the cross, what we deserved in hopes we accept his sacrifice and turn from wickedness. Satan took him up and showed the Holy God Jesus all the kingdoms of HIS WORLD and offered them all to the Holy God Jesus if he would but only bow and worship him.
Anyone who is friends with the world is an enemy of God James 4:4. Those who sow to the flesh from the flesh will reap destruction, those who sow to the spirit will reap eternal life. Galatians 6:8

Been there twice. It was worth hiring a guide to explain it all the first time, and on the second time we were glad we arrived later and stayed until dark to watch the light show.

Sadly it wasn't anything supernatural. It was a fly that was passing by. This is a time lapse of almost 2 hours of footage.
I did go back and rewatch my original video just to verify it was a fly lol

Lol it's a ceremonial event. The experience was very cool. We visited Dzibilchaltun in the morning then Chichen Itza in the afternoon. A lady refused to sit down behind us and people were throwing rocks at her/us. It was a cool experience after all for me. Sorry it didn't go as well for you.
