I am a big fan of Anthony Joshua. But i really felt bad for Gary Cornish. This was his big night, and it ended in ninety seconds. He shyed away from the public cause he felt humiliated.
I'm an AJ fan but looking at his record I can sympathize since he seemed to be a promising heavyweight from Scotland. It's easy to cheer for the boxers you like but most people hardly ever give a thought to the crushing disappointment of the defeated.

Many heavyweights are as fast as Joshua. Joshua is fast enough NOT faster than most heavyweights. What's actually fast about him is whats called his FIGHT IQ. He is SMART and throws calculated punches with great TIMING! He has like a 6th sense due to FIGHT IQ on what punch will likely land and he has POWER. So it's his power and his intelligence more than physical speed that makes him quick! He is quick in an intellectual sense before being physically fast. Unfortunately his opponents dont seem to understand how good joshua is because he is deceptively simple/average looking. It's his timing and power thats genius-level. Not easy to prepare for that. Not at all. I see him beating Wilder. Josh is good enough defensively and offensively to neutralize Wilder.
What can't people understand this?

He has tried to get a fight with Wilder for a long time. He also offered Fury a deal after Fury's draw and he didn't take it cause apparently the rematch is gonna happen (though who knows now). AJ can't force people to fight him.
