Just received mine this week and unboxed it today. Tested with a slice of bread for toasting. Not to noisy. I’m giving up my Cuisinart toaster oven, have it for four years. Reason don’t like the way it cooks meat or roasting veggies. I did have a GoWise Air Fryer before that. I ended up using outdoor gas grill to cook meat. Now I’m in a Condo and so I made the move to get the Cosori after watching and reading the pros and cons of various models. Putting Cuisinart in storage for now. It is amazing the different views of various air fryers is out there on the internet.
I can’t decide between this and the original Pro. The main thing is the temperature, which Pro says is up to 450F and this one only 400F. Does is affect a lot the cooking time/quality because of this? And second, I’ve seen reviews saying this is a lot flimsier than the Pro one.
Any air fryer the first time to start it up has the potential to smell a bit, so they recommend you use the preheat option first with nothing in it on the first start up to potentially remove any smells. But I fortunately did not have any smells from this even on the first startup. And when it’s on you can notice the fan noise, but it’s no louder to me than a microwave or dishwasher running.
Nice video! Have you had any problem with the basket etc peeling yet? And does this one have a rubber fitting in the middle of the bottom basket, and has it caused you any problems? Look forward to your reply 😊
I’ve never had any issues with the nonstick coating peeling on the basket. My last one held up pretty well with regular use, which is why I stuck with the same brand when we decided to get a replacement. And there is no rubber on the basket, so I always set it down on a towel or pad when I remove it since the bottom gets hot. It’s still working great for us.
I just got one, however now I see the reviews regarding FIRES IN some models..I think I am returning mine...after losing everything in the Oregon 🔥...🥴
I’m sure both would be great for you. I was really drawn towards the programmable buttons for the convenience of the Cosori and the square basket I feel gives you more flat surface area instead of height. Ninja is a very well known brand, but I’d buy another Cosori tomorrow if I needed another one. Good luck on your choice.
i can not get mine to pre set like you say. i put in the number and go to hold the buton and it goes to defualt. what gives. also i notice my pro 2 has the original rounded display . not square like your. i dont know if it is becuase it the recalled replacement. but it does say cosori pro 2 . what a scam
I would probably start at 400 degrees for 14 minutes and shake halfway. Then add a few more to taste if needed. Depends on how much you fill it too. That would be my suggestion for a single layer of fries on the bottom.
I cook plenty of chicken strips in this air fryer, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend stacking those. The air needs to circulate around the chicken and if it’s stacked it could leave the parts that were touching less cooked. I’d just do separate batches. Fries are a bit different though in that you could just shake them up more.

Mine just came in yesterday. Bought this air frier because it's the most accessible for those with visual impairments.

AGAIN, JustADad, THANK YOU. New to air fryers, they NEED NOT be so confusing.
Thanks buddy just ordered one online!

How about smell from machine bro. It clean or smell out. And how about sounds? It silent or loud 😊

Does it turn off or pause when you pull out to shake the food. And when putting back in does it resume on its own?
Yes, when you pull out the basket to shake it, it pauses and when you put the basket back in it resumes automatically. Very convenient in that regard.

Just got mine via the recall program they have for the original
Thank you. Greetings from Mexico.
Do the lights continually blink like on this video?
No it’s just a side effect from the camera.
Can you control the volume on it?
I'm torn between this and the Ninja what should I do? I'm very indecisive

Buttons on mine are not good .
Poor feedback. poor contact,
It doesn't seem to be available in Mexico, and Amazon US won't ship it to MX.
They have it now and I plan to purchase it during Buen Fin holiday.
Does this use a ceramic or nonstick coating? Thanks
I believe it’s a nonstick coating. Hope this helps.
The handle broke as they attached it to a plastic.. heat + plastic = melt
How much would u set to do the frozen fries

@@Type5Reviews so you would say it should be fine to stack chicken on top of eachother if doubled?

@@Type5Reviews thanks so much this helps
Totally depends on amount, cut of fries, surface fats.
A shame you cant make an omelet because of the tray. Cause if u remove the tray, the handle is gone too ;(
Put a plate or a foil and cook your omelet
I kinda want the party effect I know it's just the camera but idk looks cool when flashy
“Doesn’t heat up the room” but “heat comes out of the back of it”?
In comparison to how much using our gas oven heats up the room.
@@Type5Reviews ah, I missed that point
