I bought the Dual Blaze on Prime Day because of your thorough reviews and tips. This is my first air fryer and I am *really* glad I have this channel to help guide my decision. I've cooked more at home since I've had this new appliance than when we were all in lockdown over 2 years ago. Thank you for this channel and all the useful information!
I bought the Cosori Dual Blaze during Amazon Prime Days for a $52 dollar discount. I LOVE this thing. Thanks for the advice and lessons on how to use air fryers. I also bought your Recipe Book. Hubby said it's all money well spent as I have been more motivated to actually be in the kitchen. Hahaha Love your channel. Keep up the great work.

Glad to know I can do the veggies with the tray out. I look forward to using it. You’re the best with your videos. I love when the kids are your taste testers! ♥️
It was your videos that made me leap into the Cosori brand. I am sooooo happy I did. Not only are their appliances quality products, but very reasonable prices. Their customer service is outstanding. Very important to me and a rarity these days sadly .
Thank you so much for explaining how the different settings change how the burners work. Who knew? I’ve been using the Airfry setting for everything on my Dual Blaze. And it’s definitely quieter and easier to clean!
Once again, Cathy, THANK YOU! This info about the various settings on the Dual Blaze is exactly what I've been trying to find out about and, once again, you came through with a perfectly informative video. Please keep making videos that show you cooking with the Dual Blaze!!
Thanks, Cathy. Answered all my questions and then some. I have since discovered that I can now replace my oven and my skillet! Almost anything that I can cook in my skillet, comes out as good or better in the Blaze; I can cook in a sauce on lower temperatures or just add a sauce at the end, stir and keep warm. I never thought that I could live without that basket!
Hi, Just started watching your channel and we bought the Cosori air fryer. It's an early Christmas gift for our family. There are so many features that we already love. We got the smaller one. It's perfect. Thank you for your informative video.
Cosori just came out with the TurboBlaze (6 quart). I'd like to see a review of it, especially since the description makes it seem very different. I like that has a dehydrate setting. It might be nice to occasionally dehydrate a small amount. I don't feel like I need a dedicated dehydrator. Don't feel the need for air fryer connected to the Internet. The DualBlaze is too large for me. I replaced my Cosori Pro with identical model because I liked it so much, but I might consider the TurboBlaze when the time comes to replace my Cosori Pro II.
I got the pro 2 during prime day, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! I got it cuz of you and your channel, and I have been air fryin up a storm!!! I can’t wait to get your cookbook too. That’s my next purchase
I'm sold. I'm getting the dual blaze air fry. I have an air fryer oven right now and I've been watching your channel for quite some time and I've been wanting the air fryer barrels and I'm not sure which one I was going to get. But I'm definitely getting the blaze. And I will be buying your cookbook after that.
Great video. I tried three other brands and none came close to Cosori. I went on Amazon and found parchment paper liners without holes they had sides on them also. It keeps it really clean. I did wings in it last night and they are still just as crispy as when I didn’t use liners. Amazon sells them in a square size.
Thank God I found you! I just bought the Dual Blaze, and the manual is useless. Every recipe I found said to preheat. I cldnt figure out how to manage that. NOW I know I needn’t preheat. I learned so much about my air fryer thanks to you! I subscribed. I’m looking forward to trying some of your recipes. x
Welcome! Glad to have you here! I've got MANY recipes that you'll love! All my recipes will work in the Dual Blaze. The only difference it that you don't have to rotate your food!
I've been waiting on my replacement after the recall. It has been almost 3 months, and I'm about ready to to buy the pro III and give the other one to a family member when my replacement finally shows.
Cathy this video was super informative. I got my dual whenCosori had a trade-in a few months ago. They gave you a choice of newest models for 50% cost free ship both ways! The clean up is the best as you demonstrated, but the dual heat feature does a fantastic job as well. I got to thinking about popcorn and googled in in any AFer…tons of recipes but the bottom line is preheat, then 1/4 cup kernels x 5 minutes…and, make a foil “pan” with 1/2 in sides to put kernels in. Tried it last night and was excellent…thought to myself, why the foil pan in the dual? Another test today…just dumped kernels and popped away. BONUS? No “OLD MAIDS”. This last test? Popping slowed with 2 minutes left so I reduced temp to 360 and time to countdown 1 minute… please keep up the videos 🥰
That's awesome, Sunny! I've done popcorn in the Pro II in the past and wasn't a fan. It was a bit sketchy! You are right - no need for foil! Maybe I'll have to give it another try. 🤔
Cosori has excellent customer service. Last week, my 6 month old Cosori Pro stopped heating. I emailed them and they sent detailed instructions to reset it. Five minutes later my fryer was working like new. I use it everyday and don't know how I lived without it.
I had my 2 1/2 years old Cosori Air Fryer after my very first "egg" air fryer (only a few months old) was accidentally dropped and broke the basket. I LOVED it and can't image to live without it. I finally upgraded it to Dual Blaze on the Prime Day sale. Omg, cleaning the DB tray and basket is SO EASY! Especially two hearing elements! I just bought your cooking book! Thank you!
Cathy, I will agree 100% on their customer service. They have the best in their business. They gave me a hugh credit on their store because of the troubles I had with their fryer ovens to where I got the dual blaze for free. I have 3 air fryers, my first was a chefman 2 qt, I still use every day, I have my Cosori oven and the dual blaze. To me the dual blaze gets used less because to me it doesn't maintain an even cooking. Example. I can do an omelet in my cosori oven and it cooks evenly with no puffing, it cooks flat. I did the same thing in my dual blaze with the same pan and I had a mountain of egg growing in the middle?. I had to try and pop it so the mountain turned in to a small hill. 😁
@@empoweredcooks i contacted cosori and they say they don't recommend cooking eggs in the air fryer, saying "For an omelet, an air fryer may not be the optimal cooking device." They work fine in my cosori air fryer oven.
Thank you so much for responding to my email. I love your cookbook but as a guy I have a suggestion. Put all cakes under cakes like lava cake and so on. There were a few other things that I had a hard time finding as you have them specifically named. I will try to remember what they are specifically but I have cooked so many things out of this book and we love it. I am amazed at how all of the fat falls off this meat. Thank you so much
I've just ordered the dual blaze from Amazon, it's coming tomorrow. I like the idea of having no basket and of having the crisper tray instead. Also of have twin elements.
Love the dual blaze, my son bought it for me for my birthday, I received it July 5th, I love cosori products also purchased your cookbook Cathy this week, I love it😊😊
Okay.....I bought my very last counter appliance called the Ninja Foodi XL AF/Grill.....NOPE! I have been unhappy with my upgrade of this grill because it does not have enough depth to do what a usually do in an AF. Well, bought the darn Cosori Blaze and made my first side in it today, fresh roasted corn nibblets with fresh green beans with a little bacon grease. I know BACON GREASE but they were so darn good. My husband kept eating them and the chicken thighs were not off the grill yet. By the way, finished my chicken thighs in the Cosori, because the grill was taking so long.....hahaha! Clean up was easy. I did set it on a ceramic tile because I have old kitchen counters and don't know how hot the bottom gets. Tomorrow roasted zucchini. So far two thumbs up.
Hiya great name. I've ordered a dual mainly because of your s reviews and another channel. You show so many tips /tricks & recipe ideas. I'm not great at following instructions. So to see someone demonstrate its really helps. Much appreciated.. cathy
Hi Cathy. I was set on a Phillips air fryer but thanks to your videos I am going to order a Cosori. Cosori I am giving your brand a chance because of Cathy's in-depth reviews and recommendations!
Thank you for the video and many other air fryer videos, those are so informative and very helpful. I was following your lead went bought the Cosori Pro II yesterday after watching your other videos about tips and tricks about the air fryer. Now I'm having a question / concern about the basket handle melting issue. Should I be concern about it? Is yours having any issues ? I saw handle melting issues, screws fall off, bottom of the unit overheated and caught on sparks....etc., it makes me having second thoughts of this unit, what would be your suggestions? Thank you .
@@empoweredcooks I was just taking it out of the box when you replied! Lol I didn’t realize how tight the bottom plate is to the drawer. I guess it’s better than having it fall out. 😊
We have the Cosori Pro and we’re very happy with it but bought the Blaze on prime day solely because of the less nooks and crannies that have to be cleaned.
Love my dual blaze, also love your air fryer videos. Had the earlier non pro version but decided to go with the dual blaze which I got for a bargain price. Keep up the great videos!! Jim in the UK.
Hi Jim, after a year of use, do you recommend dual blaze over the old 5.8 quart one? Here in Turkey pro II is not sold and I'm in between these two models. Dual blaze is about 3 times pricey than the old one, so is it still worth it or should I go for the cheaper one?
@@vikihandeli yes I stil use the dual blaze, love it. I also have the smaller one in my holiday caravan. The dual can be set up to cook your food on the way home as it's WiFi smart which is handy. I really like it .
Great video, Cathy. Good to see Casori is offering a new model with more features. But... I am still very happy with the older Cosori model bought early in 2021. Saves this old bachelor time and effort cooking up simple stuff 🙂
You have to cutting the wire off my air fryer that was recalled. I kept the boat baskets. I took the handle off the inner basket and I will use it inside the dual burner air fryer you so you're able to dump the food out. I save both baskets. Not sure if I could use both of them cuz I don't have the other one yet and I am still waiting for the one that they replaced. From the recall I was told it's a CS168 AF. Same exact model I was a bit disappointed. I don't feel safe with the same model
One comment on Amazon states that the Pro 2's "The new Premium version has a hole at the bottom of the basket covered with a small rubber plug. The plug is really fragile and breaks apart quite fast" Can you confirm that or has the product been updated to fix the issue? The comment was made in Dec'20. Thanks!
When using the dual blaze, is there any concern about burning the countertop because the unit has a bottom burner? Does the countertop get hot? I’m just wondering.
LOVE your Cosori videos!! You go through every step when comparing AND even compare food quality!! I'm sold because of your expertise ❤️ My only question....I want the dual blaze model - are all the sizes equal in quality and performance?? Thx so much, you're a doll!!
Lovin this video! Cathy your reviews of all Cosori Air Fryers is always spot on and that’s what makes us all love you both, and of course your sweet taste testers! Thanks for everything you do for us! 🤗💕❤️🤩
I tried to use the link to order the dual blaze and Amazon had an error page say not found. I then tried the pro 2 but the same problem happened. You might want to try to fix it so you can get credit that you earnestly deserve.
I found it actually makes some things better. Every once in a while like to toast up some bread, & just after it gets crusty I butter it & put a slice of American cheese on it, & give it a couple more minutes. It’s comfort food, like an open faced grilled cheese :). It came out crispier in the dual blaze. Walmart was out of mini deep dish pizzas to try, but I’m willing to bet it will work out better in the dual blaze as well. I’ll probably make a some random stuff around the kitchen I’ve used the Pro II on to see what differences (if any) I see.
Cathy, great video. I will be cooking my first pork tenderloin, I don't know if I can use parchment paper on tray because of the second element. Thanks for your time
I keep wanting to purchase the cosori pro based on your recommendations, but the reviews on Amazon are terrible??? There are countless complaints and videos showcasing that the touch screen buttons do not work properly, and the basket handles break? I was hoping you could address all of these concerns before I’m in the same situation as so many other unhappy customers. 😬
I have the regular Cosori and I love it (haven't had it for a long time). The dual blaze cosori seems pretty cool because of the upper and lower burners, so it must cook more evenly. However, I don't know if I'd like the tray (not practical to remove when it's hot)...
Hello, I am new subscriber and I am planning to watch all your videos as soon I buy my first air fryer. Congratulations for your channel - it seems to contain a lot of useful tips and recipes and I like your way of presenting them! Sorry for asking, but the bottom line of this video is not clear to me. From what I understood, both models lead to (almost) same results, but the dual is more expensive. Is that right? Thank you!
I just ordered the new Cosori AF, I've been watching your channel all morning. You keep saying to to to the link below for the temperature chart you will email out but i cant find the link. I love your videos, I am a person living alone and don't cook large quantities of food, I like your videos because they show me how to do smaller amounts. I also ordered your book so I'm hoping the temp and time chart will be in the book.
Which air fryer would you recommend overall? I’ve recently gotten a crisp and bake toaster oven/ air fryer but the grates are those tiny metal ones and imo it doesn’t really seem like an air fryer to me.
I can’t decide between these 2 air fryers since they’re the same price & so close in size ! The 5.8qt. COSORI Pro II 5.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer from Walmart , or the 6qt. Turbo blaze with the touch screen top. Which would you choose? 🙆🏼♀️
I have a question for you and not sure where to ask. I like the info on the dual blaze. Will you ever do a review on their new smart air fryer toaster oven? It looks interesting, I have the old version of the reg cosori and I love it but I’m sure I will be in the market for a new one. Dual Blaze or air fryer toaster oven. Thanks
Please help. First air fryer purchase....and stuck between a corsori dual blaze and ninja dual basket 9.5l. We're a family of 2 adults and three kids. I hear ninja is the best, but I'm drawn to the cosori interface and dual heating elements. Pity there isn't a dual basket cosori
I looked at the broil function is clear that it turns off the lower heating element, but not the other ones. I did have to ask for clarity on the presets. I let them know they need to add that to their user manual. Bake - upper: low heat, lower: high heat Broil - upper: high heat, lower: no heat Roast - upper: medium heat, lower: high heat
Thanks so much for the review! So glad I found you because I’ve been debating between the two! My one question is how easy is it to clean? The baskets look easy enough to clean but what about the elements above and below? And do the baskets scratch easily? I currently have the Ninja Food grill and I’m so disappointed at how many scratches their are on the bottom plate and it’s so hard to clean around the element not to mention the round mesh that protects it is so time consuming to clean. The food tastes great but I’m so hesitant to use it because of the time to clean it.
Thanks for this comparison, Cathy! Been learning with my bargain Costco Gourmia air fryer for the past few months and I’m now ready to upgrade. Thinking of getting the Cosori dual. My Gourmia has 1500 watts, the Cosori has 1750 watts, does that mean it will cook things faster? Also, I love your oil sprayer! Seems to work better than mine - what brand is it and did you get it on Amazon? Thanks for all your great videos. You are my air fryer guru!
Hi, thanks for watching! Yes, the higher the wattage the more powerful the air fryer is- usually means that it will cook faster. I got the oil sprayer off of Amazon. I have a link to the ones I own on my Amazon page at airfryertools.com
I was going to order your cookbook, but after putting in all of my info and starting to enter my card number I was told to enter my finger print and.....absolutely no way! I guess I'll just have to continue watching your videos for recipes!
Hmm, strange. I wonder if your device has security measures for purchasing on websites? You could also try ordering from Amazon if that feels more comfortable for you- amzn.to/3oFEaDy

@@vikihandeli yes I stil use the dual blaze, love it. I also have the smaller one in my holiday caravan. The dual can be set up to cook your food on the way home as it's WiFi smart which is handy. I really like it .
@@jimtolan7967 thanks for your quick response, I'll consider it
still wondering if the crisp tray is better then dual basket? I gues I would rather use basket
I'm sold because of your expertise ❤️
My only question....I want the dual blaze model - are all the sizes equal in quality and performance??
Thx so much, you're a doll!!
I believe there is only one size for the Dual Blaze, so yes.
Lovin this video! Cathy your reviews of all Cosori Air Fryers is always spot on and that’s what makes us all love you both, and of course your sweet taste testers!
Thanks for everything you do for us! 🤗💕❤️🤩
Thanks so much, Ellen!
@@empoweredcooks So blessed to virtually know you Cathy 🤗
Agreed!
I agree. Cosori is the best. I try to promote whenever I can.
:)
Yes, always eat leftover batter! I'm 69 and have eaten it all of my life, too and have never gotten ill from it.
I tried to use the link to order the dual blaze and Amazon had an error page say not found. I then tried the pro 2 but the same problem happened. You might want to try to fix it so you can get credit that you earnestly deserve.
Great video🎉
Love the kitchen makeover 😍👏🏾
Both I have a simple recipe. I usually have ingredients on hand.
Very nice, Jeff! Let me know if you find any big differences in cook times/results... so far everything is cooking on track for me!
Thanks, after hours of research this video made my decision
I’d really benefit by having the Dual Blaze but I just got the 5.8 for Christmas 2021 so I don’t want to put it on my Christmas yet. Sigh 😌
Same!
Omgoodness, I'm so glad I bought the dual blaze. Darn. Now back to the store for bacon. Lololol
Thanks Kathy
I have the regular Cosori and I love it (haven't had it for a long time). The dual blaze cosori seems pretty cool because of the upper and lower burners, so it must cook more evenly. However, I don't know if I'd like the tray (not practical to remove when it's hot)...
I just got a 5qt cosori pro
Love it but wish I would have waited for Prime Day and got the Blaze.
Ah dang!
Hello,
I am new subscriber and I am planning to watch all your videos as soon I buy my first air fryer.
Congratulations for your channel - it seems to contain a lot of useful tips and recipes and I like your way of presenting them!
Sorry for asking, but the bottom line of this video is not clear to me. From what I understood, both models lead to (almost) same results, but the dual is more expensive. Is that right?
Thank you!
Your videos are my go to for everything airfryer! Can you review or compare the cosori toaster oven air fryer?!
Which one is better ?
I noticed there's no pre-heat option anymore? Is that no longer a requirement with the new air fryers? Thanks! Great Videos!!
Hi everyone,
Can someone specifically tell which one is better?
What do you know about the Gourmia sold at Costco in Canada?
I have birds, does the consorti dual blaze have any Teflon or chemicals that when heated up release in the air🤔
I can’t decide which one to buy, which one do you prefer?
I just ordered the new Cosori AF, I've been watching your channel all morning. You keep saying to to to the link below for the temperature chart you will email out but i cant
find the link. I love your videos, I am a person living alone and don't cook large quantities of food, I like your videos because they show me how to do
smaller amounts. I also ordered your book so I'm hoping the temp and time chart will be in the book.
Yes, the chart is in the book. You can also get it here- www.internaltemperaturechart.com/free-download
I use the Costco brownies exclusively. I scratch bake many other things, but can’t beat the Ghirardelli’s.
LOL - I hear you!
Which air fryer would you recommend overall? I’ve recently gotten a crisp and bake toaster oven/ air fryer but the grates are those tiny metal ones and imo it doesn’t really seem like an air fryer to me.
Why not do the same out of he drippings in the air fryer? what do you think?
You are just amazing! I was so confused about the dual one but now I see it is great thanks
I can’t decide between these 2 air fryers since they’re the same price & so close in size ! The 5.8qt. COSORI Pro II 5.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer from Walmart , or the 6qt. Turbo blaze with the touch screen top. Which would you choose? 🙆🏼♀️
I really love our TurboBlaze!
Is it worth upgrading from the pro to the dual blaze?
I have a question for you and not sure where to ask. I like the info on the dual blaze. Will you ever do a review on their new smart air fryer toaster oven? It looks interesting, I have the old version of the reg cosori and I love it but I’m sure I will be in the market for a new one. Dual Blaze or air fryer toaster oven. Thanks
what are your thoughts of these compared to the aeroblaze?
Please help. First air fryer purchase....and stuck between a corsori dual blaze and ninja dual basket 9.5l. We're a family of 2 adults and three kids. I hear ninja is the best, but I'm drawn to the cosori interface and dual heating elements. Pity there isn't a dual basket cosori
What can I do with a power XL fryer that I don’t want anymore. It’s okay but it’s too small and the tray is round rather than square.
Wow! You have such high quality videos! You seem like a great mother, and I'm sure you have amazing kids :)
Thank you so much, David!
It is so funny I like batters for cakes, brownies and even dough.
Always love your videos and recipe ideas. Can you share what bran$ of dishwater you have please? Love it!
I love my Dual Blaze
What kind of oil sprayer do you use? I’ve bought 2 different ones so far, and both clogged up.
Hi miss .. the link in the discription is used or its new and i see there is a dual blaze gen 3 is that the same miss
The fact that the different burners adjust to what button you use, this information is in the instructions?
I looked at the broil function is clear that it turns off the lower heating element, but not the other ones. I did have to ask for clarity on the presets. I let them know they need to add that to their user manual.
Bake - upper: low heat, lower: high heat
Broil - upper: high heat, lower: no heat
Roast - upper: medium heat, lower: high heat
Thanks so much for the review! So glad I found you because I’ve been debating between the two! My one question is how easy is it to clean? The baskets look easy enough to clean but what about the elements above and below? And do the baskets scratch easily? I currently have the Ninja Food grill and I’m so disappointed at how many scratches their are on the bottom plate and it’s so hard to clean around the element not to mention the round mesh that protects it is so time consuming to clean. The food tastes great but I’m so hesitant to use it because of the time to clean it.
I love my instant vortex but the dual blaze will be my next one if this one ever dies
What are the Measurements of the Cosori Pro 2?
I was going to order your cookbook, but after putting in all of my info and starting to enter my card number I was told to enter my finger print and.....absolutely no way!
I guess I'll just have to continue watching your videos for recipes!
Our site doesn't require any finger print, not sure what you site you were ordering from!
@@empoweredcooks I went to the site from your page!
Hmm, strange. I wonder if your device has security measures for purchasing on websites? You could also try ordering from Amazon if that feels more comfortable for you- amzn.to/3oFEaDy
I went back and ordered thru Amazon and got it a couple days later!👍
I'm glad the dual blaze doesn't make you preheat. My old airfryer at home doesn't make you preheat. I'm on vacation using one that makes you preheat. All my usual cooking times and temps are off. When my old air fryer "kicks the bucket" I will buy a dual blaze!
You'll love it!
