I remember downloading lbp3, it was the peak of humanity before covid 2019. I just started playing and all of the cool colors and wacky things the game had made it a favorite. It almost made me grow out of my pvz phase which says alot considering i played it alot. Im going to miss lbg, sackboy on the run just doesn’t hit the same
I think if MM came back with LBP4 and some (major) tweaks to the game, Playstation marketing, and talented devs to make custom levels, it could be absolutely insane.
I had an idea, like if there was a switch to make a level go from 2D to 3D like in Sackboy, it could be Hella fun, and especially with more vs levels and stuff, it has the substance to be more than it ever was. Especially with people nowadays thinking they missed out, we could get a serious amount of players on. For the story, it would be cooler if it tackled more real problems, like self-worth and creativity, rather than just negativity in general.
There's actually custom servers for the LBP games, so you can still play the classic levels with friends or meet new people which is pretty cool, it helps me relive my childhood

Fuck, the news of all that UGC being lost hits me in my fucking chest. I remember like, last year I desperately wanted to go back and replay the levels from my childhood but couldn't because I no longer have a PS3 and my account has been lost to time. Knowing that now I'll never get to go back and play those levels again because _zero effort_ was made to archive them, that rends my fucking soul from my body. I remember all these 'roleplay' levels that were boring as fuck but had fun little interactions and these impressively gorgeous environments from shit like lakehouses to futuristic city-scapes. There was this one game called some shit like "Chaos City" or "Mayhem Arena" or something, which was a straight-up FFA side-scrolling shooter with interactive/destructive elements like jumping through windows or ziplining from one building to another. I sunk so much time into that fucking level and its variations with different maps and I've wanted to replay it to see how it holds up, but now I just _can't_ and that kills me a little inside. I like your bouncy and shitposty presentation by the way. I look forward to checking out your other work. :>
Recently there was a huge 1.5 TB of archived levels from lbp 1,2 and 3 PS3 that got uploaded online to download. But it's kinda tricky to get it fully working. But we did manage to upload plenty of levels from it to the lbp beacon public servers.
finding out that lbp was gone forever hit me. i've been playing since the first game and i've played every installment besides the handheld games and loved all of them. i've always been a fond lover of lbp3 just because of how big it was compared to the others, even if the story was a bit lacking and if it was very buggy goofing around in the moon, playing with my two brothers, using the dive in feature and playing with/terrorizing random people, trying to ace all the levels, trying to get free dlc and most video relevant watching movies, everything about it was an experience. littlebigplanet is a game that i will forever treasure. it just had something about it that was unbeatable. it sucks that everything that made the game what it is now is all unplayable and can only really be experienced by youtubers (thank you :pray:), but hey on the slim chance that the game does get a new installment, i will be playing, but for now my best option is buying a ps3 and setting up one of the various alternative servers, or going back to my roots and fooling around in the moon!! at least levels are exportable/importable, that's the next best thing.. good video though, and the movie was in fact peak... that reverse race was truly intense..
Dude, even if you got into this franchise from LBP3, I cannot express how much respect I have for you to have make this video not just for knowledge and funnies, but as a Tribute for the Little Big Planet franchise. For how much love that highlights the game's identity which we all know and connect with, I do hope this video will become a piece of knowledge in the archive of Little Big Planet. LBP was quite literally my childhood. I basically grew up with it and never stopped playing it as a kid, and was really good with logic at the time! Nowadays I just play it to create music, though my memory of how logic works is still there.
i don't think i would've been as creatively pushed as i was as a child if it wasn't for games like little big planet, I remember learning to make rpg levels for people to play in and all the funny comments people would leave. I think my favouret experience from the game was the small community of fans there were on DA. We all had a lot of fun talking about our favouret characters and drawing them. While Gram did mention that there's an archival channel on RUclips for player created music and numerous videos of old UGC levels, there are two ways to play LBP 'online': Custom servers (I don't know how you'd do it on PS3/PS4, but RPCS3 is amazing for emulating LBP and custom servers on PC) and the Little Big Archive, which has as many player created levels as they could muster, all of them are free to download and import into your game and it works on console and RPCS3.

as a person who spent like a lot of time playing LBP trying to make little animations and movies on their own (there was a small animation meme community on LBP mid-2010s), this is one of the best videos i've seen with commentary regarding LBP's sequencer and movie capabilities. aside from, you know, the thermometer preventing bigger movies, lol

LittleBigplanet was one of the first games that I fell in love with, the music and art style are like nothing else (can't wait for restitched.) Now, 16 years later, I still see myself thinking about it on a regular basis and occasionally spend a good few months playing it by being a pirate. It hurts that the official servers are gone, but maybe with more content creators showing an interest in it we could see a 4th instalment.

I remember downloading lbp3, it was the peak of humanity before covid 2019. I just started playing and all of the cool colors and wacky things the game had made it a favorite. It almost made me grow out of my pvz phase which says alot considering i played it alot. Im going to miss lbg, sackboy on the run just doesn’t hit the same

I think if MM came back with LBP4 and some (major) tweaks to the game, Playstation marketing, and talented devs to make custom levels, it could be absolutely insane.
I had an idea, like if there was a switch to make a level go from 2D to 3D like in Sackboy, it could be Hella fun, and especially with more vs levels and stuff, it has the substance to be more than it ever was. Especially with people nowadays thinking they missed out, we could get a serious amount of players on. For the story, it would be cooler if it tackled more real problems, like self-worth and creativity, rather than just negativity in general.

Fuck, the news of all that UGC being lost hits me in my fucking chest.
I remember like, last year I desperately wanted to go back and replay the levels from my childhood but couldn't because I no longer have a PS3 and my account has been lost to time.
Knowing that now I'll never get to go back and play those levels again because _zero effort_ was made to archive them, that rends my fucking soul from my body.
I remember all these 'roleplay' levels that were boring as fuck but had fun little interactions and these impressively gorgeous environments from shit like lakehouses to futuristic city-scapes.
There was this one game called some shit like "Chaos City" or "Mayhem Arena" or something, which was a straight-up FFA side-scrolling shooter with interactive/destructive elements like jumping through windows or ziplining from one building to another.
I sunk so much time into that fucking level and its variations with different maps and I've wanted to replay it to see how it holds up, but now I just _can't_ and that kills me a little inside.

Recently there was a huge 1.5 TB of archived levels from lbp 1,2 and 3 PS3 that got uploaded online to download. But it's kinda tricky to get it fully working. But we did manage to upload plenty of levels from it to the lbp beacon public servers.
finding out that lbp was gone forever hit me. i've been playing since the first game and i've played every installment besides the handheld games and loved all of them. i've always been a fond lover of lbp3 just because of how big it was compared to the others, even if the story was a bit lacking and if it was very buggy
goofing around in the moon, playing with my two brothers, using the dive in feature and playing with/terrorizing random people, trying to ace all the levels, trying to get free dlc and most video relevant watching movies, everything about it was an experience. littlebigplanet is a game that i will forever treasure. it just had something about it that was unbeatable. it sucks that everything that made the game what it is now is all unplayable and can only really be experienced by youtubers (thank you :pray:), but hey on the slim chance that the game does get a new installment, i will be playing, but for now my best option is buying a ps3 and setting up one of the various alternative servers, or going back to my roots and fooling around in the moon!! at least levels are exportable/importable, that's the next best thing..

LBP was quite literally my childhood. I basically grew up with it and never stopped playing it as a kid, and was really good with logic at the time! Nowadays I just play it to create music, though my memory of how logic works is still there.
i don't think i would've been as creatively pushed as i was as a child if it wasn't for games like little big planet, I remember learning to make rpg levels for people to play in and all the funny comments people would leave. I think my favouret experience from the game was the small community of fans there were on DA. We all had a lot of fun talking about our favouret characters and drawing them. I really hope this video gets more views, i love your videos I think you really deserve more credit then you get :)

While Gram did mention that there's an archival channel on RUclips for player created music and numerous videos of old UGC levels, there are two ways to play LBP 'online': Custom servers (I don't know how you'd do it on PS3/PS4, but RPCS3 is amazing for emulating LBP and custom servers on PC) and the Little Big Archive, which has as many player created levels as they could muster, all of them are free to download and import into your game and it works on console and RPCS3.

LittleBigplanet was one of the first games that I fell in love with, the music and art style are like nothing else (can't wait for restitched.) Now, 16 years later, I still see myself thinking about it on a regular basis and occasionally spend a good few months playing it by being a pirate. It hurts that the official servers are gone, but maybe with more content creators showing an interest in it we could see a 4th instalment.
