The thing with Thai language is that even if you know all the alphabet you'll continue struggle to read a page of a book for a very long time.... there are no spaces between words. It means even identifiying the words you know in a sentence is very challenging. And for the words you don't know you still have to figure out where they start and end to be able to search for their meaning...

Thank you so much Kru Mod & Kru Pear, really appreciate you taking time to teach us your language, your explanations are brilliant. I find that doing the faces like with sala ๅ let your jaw drop. Khop khun kap
One thing for non Thai readers to look out for is the visual similarities between letters. For instance those that are new to reading/writing Thai will have a difficult time separating ฟ from ฝ. You may want to point out where the head/circle is placed relative to the rest of the letter to give indication if there's a similar letter in the alphabet.

The same could be said of English letters. P R (similar to ช and ข) d b p(similar to ฟ and ฝ). I think it just requires some practice and exposure
