This obsession with beautiful graphics caused the devs to push Unreal further than it was designed to be pushed. Never mind the fact that it cannot, and never has been able to 'do' open world games. It's gotten to the stage that Unreal devs just bung a ton of graphical and game features into the engine and hope that DLSS will make it playable.
If the map becomes so big that it becomes a running simulator then you should add vehicles. They don't have to be too fast , they can be slow small off-road vehicles . And realistically off-road vehicles are slow in off-road

Jokes aside, I can't wait to play it. So far it doesn't look terrible, a strange deviation from the industry's standard the last several years.

just got done trying it out, kept hitting E for interact like most other games I play and kept healing myself by accident, encountered the first monster and the bullets don't seem to interact with monsters at all, thought it was weird and then got attacked by a dog and same thing bullets have no feeling of you actually hitting something. It's unfortunate that it released in this state since I had high hopes for it.
But maybe after a lot of patches and a sale I'll pick it up down the road.
If you have a decent pc you have nothing to worry about. It’s butter.
lol dont be fooled man, the game runs well, looks good and the story isnt top tier but its pretty good and decent
Wait.. Did you just compile reviews for this.. "Review"? Is this a better way to review games now?
New AAA game came out? I’ll play it in a year when it’s actually finished.
Fr all these people are coping game is a buggy mess
Biggest cope I’ve seen in a while. it’s like watching an abuse victim justify their abusers behavior
@RedEverything its awesome now, will be awesomeerr later
I hate this trend
@@Onyx1776 been playing for a good chunk of time when it released
no bugs yet, nothing remotely buggy either, could just be me
but for me the game is actually solid and fun to play
I’ve seen tons of reviews today. None of them complained about the start of the game. Guess I’ll find out in a few minutes.
i mean its gonna start out like any stalker game. From what im hearing it'll be most similar to clear sky, but hopefully with a little less radioactive swamp and weapons that cant hit the broadside of a barn
That comment lost me. The start was very straight forward and entertaining.
the onky bad thing i can say is accurste from the video is the many details, unless you pay attention to the story and details it really can confuse you
What I saw online was that enemies are practically aimbots.
They were like that in og games
@1738-l1j yeah, I heard that when I commented on another vid "it'd be nice if they missed once in a while" 🤣🤣🤣
It’s honestly bs
@DMTEntity88 what do you mean?
@@wolfhors3_660 ngl im playing right now and they really be aimbotin but the ai kinda dumb also fame runs like dookie
Fast travel in a stalker game? Nope!
All these reviews saying there isn't any fast travel. There wasn't on the original either. However there has always been guides, usually located in bars you can pay them to take you to places, essentially fast travelling..
Tried it and runs at 15 fps 😭💀
GTX 1650 and CORE I5 10TH gen
Not sure what you expected from low-end GPU from so many years ago... even a 1080Ti can barely play new games at any kind of decent settings.
@NamelessONEMail It was an experiment mostly, I'm not a big fan of STALKER so I might just stay at Fallout and Metro
Update your pc. You trying to play a series X game on a GameCube.
Unfortunately, it’s a no for now. The game crashes every time I get to compilation screen. Truly saddening tbh but kinda figured this would happen even though my PC meets the requirements, drivers installed, and even a clean windows wipe to confirm. Still would not load… Just wish I could play the game like everyone else but looks like that won’t happen.
Hmm, my game doesnt crash but the performance is HORRIBLE, like i mean it stutters every second with fsr 3 enabled, fps is pretty bad sitting at 25 to 40 but i hope this gets better i think it will
But but it’s not a bug it’s an anomoly!!! Harrr harrr harrrrr
I've read on the steam forums you have to update your mother board bios, graphics drivers and GPU drivers and have Windows up to date .
@@JimBobmyes thats right, tried it now updated everything and scrubbed my pc clean, runs so much better can even bump up the graphics to medium even if it doesn't sound impressive
@@JimBobm Tried it all. Still the same. Thanks though. I’m going to try on a different computer later when it gets patched later. Just disappointing.
I got shot lost controls -reloaded a save - & still could not control it
Wait, so stalker 2 has some really really bad bugs? Oh thank heavens, they really did keep it faithful to the original trilogy. I was afraid they were going to completely re-imagine it.
Jokes aside, I can't wait to play it. So far it doesn't look terrible, a strange deviation from the industry's standard the last several years.
The beginning is fine imo. Too many hand holding games have ruined some gamers 😀
once you get the hang of it, this game has no bugs. these are anomalies.😊
Just like Bethesda Game Studios games, mods can fix a STALKER game. Unlike Bethesda Game Studios games, the main story doesn't have to be good. Good thing, because mods can't fix a bad main story.
I can't watch a video unless it shits on Bethesda and Starfield. Please make some more of those.
5 hours in and no issues so far aside 1 minor animation bug, if youre a stalker vet youll love it if you have a decent PC
this is a lie
Fallout wishes it was as polished as this.
From my point of wiew, guns take to less damage. I need fu king 0.5s auto fire to bandit with no armor.
I can confirm, the game is boring at the start. I played for a hour and it is so incredibly boring. I really struggle to play more.
So wait, you are reviewing.. reviewers reviews... You've not played it! Great vid smfh......
really enjoying the game but the frame drops are really annoying, true STALKER experience lol
just got done trying it out, kept hitting E for interact like most other games I play and kept healing myself by accident, encountered the first monster and the bullets don't seem to interact with monsters at all, thought it was weird and then got attacked by a dog and same thing bullets have no feeling of you actually hitting something. I've never played any stalker games before so this is on me but the sci-fi invisible monsters seem really dumb and I hate to be that guy but the graphics just look like every other indie game on steam with the same assets. probably going to be refunding this one
the graphics are good what are you on about?
they arent vibrant and clean and colourful like most other games are
they were made for a dark and gritty game, which stslker 2 is
and dude the game is made to have the mutants be harder to kill tham humans, look at the other stalker vets around thr comment thread and they say the mutants feel EASY to them
stalker 1 is still the best. then clear sky.....with mod help
Ah, so its not fantasy Skyrim. Like actually its Skyrim, this could go big depending on how easy it is to mod compared to the creation engine.
It works almost exactly the way I mod fallout 4. Probably less hard
So it's basically Shadow of Chernobyl with better graphics? Neat!! That's what we wanted...
It's much much bigger bro the maps hugeee
@@bobbydonnelly6571 Perfection...
yep, the gunplay feels smooth too
just long rsnge sniping with controller sensitiviy is the only real issue for me, but im also not verybused to the sens in general
@@ProcyonDei its what we wanted but we knew from the ogs this one was still gonna have some funny bugs but all in all the 20hrs ive got already its a huge improvement over the first
So basically wait for mods.
I've had a few issues with stalkers spawning in on me other then that not much to say other then when you accomplish getting new gear you feel it
I genuinely thought this game would be game of the year. Dang I’ll come back when modders fix it in two years
Cant wait for this game to release on ps5. Hope the most common bugs are patched by then.
There are no problems You people are insane I keep hearing things like you barely fight anyone I just got into an hour and a half fight where there was probably something around 100 men in this giant base that just kept coming I have a 3060 I'm having zero graphical problems I have no idea what anyone is talking about You people just like to hate things
your in denial multiple reviews even talk about these problems
