Stan's always had a good block return. And GMP does rely on speed a bit too much, should mix up his serves a bit more, just like Shelton.

Mpetshi Perricard has had a HORRENDOUS hard court season in North America and Asia. He has an incredibly powerful game but when it starts to go wrong he can completely collapse. tbh he can only serve, he goes big on every shot because his ability to rally is not even top 100 level. i still can't comprehend how he won in lione (especially on clay and against clay courters) and imo he will fall back to his real level that is definitely not top 50. i don't hate him, it's just my honest opinion, if he proves me wrong great for him!

He's still young and it's only natural for him to get tight against the best players on big points. He moves quite well for a guy his size and clay is actually his best surface. He grew up on it and it gives him a bit of extra time (whether setting up his shots or moving up to the net) and bounce on the serve.

If they fine him, I would consider as normal to ban Sabalenka from ever playing the game again.

Wawrinka still has top 10 tennis level. It's his lack of fitness from old age and too much wear and tear from the toils of the tours over the years... that's what's letting him down from consistently producing that top 10 level over the course of a match and, in turn, that makes him susceptible to mental fragilities and giving up when demoralised. Today however was not one of those sad cases, and his match here showed us why he was so deadly and so elite in his prime slam winning years. Sensational stuff from Stan.

OMG this no name player is using the now extinct one hander backhand. Didn't know this was still taught in tennis school but great to see there's still a few new players using the old style.

Surprised Berrettini could play after he pulled out with an abdominal strain just a few days ago. So hopefully nothing too serious or just a matter of precaution.

Keep grinding and growing Gio, the results will come esp on hardcourts. Great job "Triple B" (Big, Beautiful, Berrettini)! 🎉 Now, what's going on with Triple Z's game lately? He has to be injured. 😢

@@amphiprionoccelaris5198 he wasn't salty, just disappointed. His relative inexperience and nerves showed up in the tiebreaks, just like last week in Bejing.

ATP tour must really take care of its players, the courts are slow, the balls are even slower, its like watching a clay court match..many players will develop wrist & shoulder injuries in the long run after trying to wack the living daylights out of such sponge balls😢
