      I've never been to Atlanta, but I would love to go. If for no other reason than to look around and meet some of the folks I know of online.

    You don't center your rotary table to the spindle first? Or is all that matters is the hole in your metal plate being centered to the spindle?

      The hole in the middle of the plate has to be centered to the rotary vice. It really doesn't matter what their relationship to the spindle is. I just use the spindle to help me measure and make adjustments until I get everything lined up. You could also center your rotary table to the spindle first, lock everything down, and then drill you're hole into the plate. Either method should work.
