Surprise! Who do you think is THE most well-rounded vocalist on this list? Don't forget the Winter Sale happening today at Fashion Chingu www.fashionchingu.com/?RUclips&Social&EKCristobal&
there is still one more very good main vocal, Kimberly or Kim from the group VVUP, former champion of the voice kids Indonesia and the next Indonesian big star. has released 16 songs and was contracted by an American agency, Empire
It doesn’t completed talking about vocalist without including Kim from VVUP. She is not only great at technique but also how she delivery every song, she is one of the best yet still humble.
Unis Elisia(15) potential is huge since she's still young yet already have the skills. Also another member Seowon(13) also have a huge potential same as Elisia. This 2 is way younger and have more potential growth than most of them.
@CrossSavedUs weren't all the girls 13 or 15 at one time?? They also had the chance to grow like these 2 girls. It doesn't mean they're going to develop more than the other girls. It all depends on how much they put on and also the talent has a big part in it. You could tell me that a 20 yr old girl has a great voice and has developed great habits, skills, techniques, etc. Now, there is this 13 yr old that also has a great voice, and you think she'll be better because she is 7 yrs youger? The fact that she has talent and years ahead does not mean she'll develop into a better singer than the 20 yr old. Now, to end, I just want to say that I prefer Rami's voice type and her versatility. Would she be the best of all the grils mentioned here? I don't know, but I can assure you that with her talent and the way she commits to better herself, she won't be the worst. She might be in the top 3. 😈
Well i do agree on their statement. Age will always be an advantage regardless if your older or younger. Young generations will ALWAYS have the upper hand interms of growth specially if they already have the set of skills. But the age gap here isn't that huge i think? Unless your 20 above, the youngsters will definitely surpass you.
Agree with the insight, especially with Elisia. She's actually a fan of runs and riffs; it's just that she's been expanding her capability to improve her belting lately.
Elisia's vocal voice is clear and heavenly to listen to. Just wait when she'll have an opportunity to show her vocal techniques more in the future. She's only 15 but her way of singing's was like expressing the message of the song above all her facial expressions while singing never disappoint that's why I can't help but to listen to her repeatedly.
I can't believe Elisia is on this list, awesome review by the way, I love your honest analysis, very complete and detailed , I hope the Idols on this list could see this, because it would be very beneficial for them, I've learned alot 😄
im glad you found the analysis helpful and detailed. Elisia’s inclusion is well-deserved, especially since she’s improving so fast and showing incredible growth. as for the idols seeing this, it would truly be an honor. thank you so much for your kind words and support!
also, the fact that Elisha is the only non-Korean here makes it beneficial to highlight the effect of adjusting one’s technique and style to a different genre, as well as training in a way that differs from what they have grown accustomed to
@@EKCristobal I agree, you know what, I did'nt have the slightest Idea the adjustment she needed to do adopt to kpop techniques, same goes to Gehlee, kudos to both of them 😀
Unis stan. Watched alot of kpop who sings and belts, but so far the unis duo doesnt make my ears hurt. Is there such a thing as a controlled belting, then theyre off to a goodstart.
Maybe it's because of Elisa's style that she sounds quite gentle, but she has a weakness in high notes and is easily strange, but anyway, it's understandable that high notes are difficult to hear.
@@ojkijiku did u just said elisia has weakness in high notes? Ur surely just kidding right? Cuz as far as i remember in universe ticket whateva stage, elisia took the high note amongst the contestant with vocal prowess AND BRO U SHOULD LISTEN TO POPPIN BY "UNIS"
@@crisezekielestrada8401Elisia's weakness is high notes. It doesn't necessarily mean she's bad or weak at high notes. I'm her fan and I watched all episodes of Universe Ticket. She definitely stood out as a great vocalist who was one of the most capable of doing high notes among the trainees. However, her strong point really isn't her high notes and she has lots of room for improvement. That being said, I'm looking forward to her growth as a vocalist.
@@crisezekielestrada8401 nah I'm not saying she's weak, but that's her weakness. I think her high notes arent really good compared to the other vocalists here except Minju, but maybe her style makes the verse so easy to listen to but hitting high notes would be more difficult if she still used that style to hit highnote. Raw data is really difficult
@@pushpawanigabaduge3856 It’s okay that you want to praise her, but why do you have to bring someone else’s down? Go make your own comment or something. Are you from Philippines?
imho elisia is top technical singer in 5th gen. in this video analysis and to summary: elisia downside are higher notes and nasality but her upside are technique, clarity, enunciation, emotion, expression, youth and potential
Elisia's voice is like a drug to me it's so heavenly and so nice to the ears. Belle's voice on the other hand is cold to the feeling that makes you shiver and mesmerized. They're my favorite vocalists in 5th gen along with Rami
I'm really happy that you mentioned our ballad Queen (Dahyun), she is a hidden gem of this gen (because not many people know tripleS, unfortunatly), she has a lot of potential for impovement and experiment with her voice, being in such a large group, with various sub-unit. Her voice really warms my heart. Anyways, I'd be really curious about what you think of the other 2 main vocalists of tripleS, Jiwoo and Shion, and I'm really curious about Kaede too, because she often takes on the role of Dahyun, somehow, when Dahyun is not in the performing unit, I'm not a professional by any means, but she surprised me a lot in this year (being one of the main dancers), I didn't know Kaede had such a beautiful voice!
Eli can use her head tone well. One example was their performance cover of "Way 4 Luv" when they were harmonizing at the end. I believe she was the one doing the higher note there. 😊
Thank you EK as i waited for this analysis again you have said after a year of their careers as GGs you will analyze if their a significant improvements on their vocals and yes this was absolute theyre goid in their own way but as for me Eli hits differently as you were mezmerised by her voice her own vical preerence will tell it all❤and again tysm for this kind analysis👍
For me its belle. She can Whistle and improved on her whistle in her newly collab. "Everything 'Bout you". And its A6. She can belt, riffs, runs,Have a good rich low and also control her belts very well.
Her voice and style are pretty but she strains and can become shouty to try and get the notes out. She gives Nina from NiziU vibes. Power but gets out of control
I am studying English, and I love watching videos about vocals, especially those featuring K-pop idols. This video is very useful, and the creator doesn't excessively praise any of their favorites, which often diminishes the informative value of the video or even leads to misinformation. Kudos to the author! 👀🙌👏
The fact you had Dahyun here made me click so fast. Honestly I love all the girls you covered but Dahyun really has a special place in my heart and she is the reason why I got so hooked into tripleS, which btw I hope many people can get past just because of the number of members. Not only is she an amazing heart-tugging singer but she also has such a kind and pure caring soul which all 23 of her other members can attest to. Her OSTs are a real gem and her live performances are a treat to the ears. Thank you for doing her justice and giving her this exposure on your channel.
Very smart indeed for Elisia to take care of her voice . Realistically, most idol careers are often short specially for female idols. For Elisia, once she's done with being an idol, she can return to theatre and do musicals till she's old and gray or she can also release solo music. She will most likely have a long singing career even if she stopped being an idol.
MY ELIBUNNY THE BEST 💗🥰 THANK YOU FOR THE ANALYSIS FOR MY QUEEN ELI . I KNOW THAT SHE WILL IMPROVE MORE AND MORE SHE'S STILL YOUNG BUT SHES SO GREAT ALREADY ❤ ❤
omg. my first video on this channel and im amazed. i hope to see more of this content. like THIS is the most technical i've found on YT space when it comes to singing. and i;ve always been looking for one. keep it up!
Unis uses seowon as their belter and the one who sings the high parts while in illit yunah is the one who does the head voice parts and high pitch parts(i saw it in their recording for magnetic, yunah does the higher harmony for the last chorus) ! Is it because they have more vocal range than elisia and minju?
Yes, vocal range can be one factor among many, but I see the tandems of Minju & Yunah and Elisia & Seowon as key vocal forces in their respective groups. It’s not so much about vocal technique, but more about their ability to anchor and maintain balance within their teams.
Thank you for including Minju. Illit aren't as "vocal" as the other groups of their generation, but I think that their vocals still perfectly work together. They have great chemistry, and sometimes you don't necessarily want to hear someone flex their incredible riffs and high notes, but have a nice soothing voice. They were off to a rough start but anyone who watches them knows that they are more than capable, and that what happened that one time isn't proof of their abilities. I wish one day people realize that they're very talented.
I remember some everafters saying this to seowon that "she's just screaming" and pd should give the high notes to elisia. So no surprise that an everafter would say this lol.
Season is still 14 she has a lot to learn. If you wanna claim someone is the "best vocalist" (ahyeon) you shouldn't be straining g like that and screaming as it'll hurt her voice, I personally like rami's vocals better
Say my name is a new 5th gen girl group and has a great vocal line!! Their vocals mesh well together watch their its live performance of their song be a star
Your analysis to elisia is 100% Just like katseye sophia she shift from theatre to pop which she said herself that she has hard time adapting to new genre that she has to change her singing style.
I actually really love minju’s tone!!! I started listening to kpop through blackpink and immediately fell in love with rosé’s tone! Minju’s tone is very close to Rosé
@jade5202 minju was a yg trainee maybe during late 2018 2019! Yg had plans for a girl group in 2019 before babymonster was even planned but ended up not doing it!
not a kpop gg fan but I know minju and rami I dunno the rest but here's my ranking 1st belle 2nd rami/elisia 3rd dahyun 4th minju I rank them as a musician my self.. ps. being a singer is not about the high range of the voice is the best its about techniques and knowledge you put while singing.
Rami's vocal tone is incredibly beautiful, her control and technique are exceptional. She is capable of improving and becoming a bigger monster. A future Star of Kpop 💯
I love minju's voice. I hope illit can keep improving on their vocals to become much more stable and more techincally skilled (esp since wonhee has quite a distinct bright tone)
Can you do analysis for Kim from VVUP? She was a winner for several television vocal competitions in Indonesia, debut as a solo singer in Indonesia, and now debuting as a main vocalist in Kpop group VVUP❤
Its ok that Ellie doesn't have super high range, she already has more than enough range as an idol. Her voice is just so sweet to hear. Seowoon can take the belting, she just needs to learn more control
Nasality for k-pop is not really good for singing and limits your ability to sing fully and higher range.... That's why i give ELISIA a lot of credit and praise coming from a different music style 💯💯💯 and she's still so young 15 and more room to grow!!! And the crazy thing is that Elisia is not even Korean and she's singing in there native language... Imagine kpop idols singing in English and doing Nasal type singing??? Lol
I hope that her instructors or mentor and the music demands won't change her style. Yes, sometimes it's inevitable to avoid it because of exposure in environment but hopefully Eli can switch back on to her own gentle and emotional voice with a story telling style.
I would love a video on some of the recent 5th gen groups like meov, izna, the fifty fifty redebut (chanelle is very promising and all 5 can sing), maybe say my name, and perhaps sm’s new girl group when you have enough material for analysis
Would love to see your analysis of the skills of more underrated groups like Blackswan, Kandis, Craxy, etc. Would also love a ranking or analysis of the post Boys Planet groups! Including ZB1, there's also Evnne, Onepact, Xlov, and Ampers&one and more.
Agility Ranking 1. Belle (KISS OF LIFE) Belle’s ability to execute quick, clean runs and fast transitions is exceptional, making her the most agile vocalist in this list. She combines agility with control, particularly in her upper register, where she shines. 2. Rami (BABYMONSTER) Rami's agility is also outstanding, particularly with her complex vocal runs and transitions. However, Belle’s versatility and the ease with which she navigates her range give her a slight edge in this area. 3. Minju (Illit) Minju has solid agility, but she tends to focus more on stability and tone rather than speed and complexity in runs. While she’s capable, her agility doesn’t reach the same level as Rami or Belle. 4. Dahyun (Triple S) Dahyun's agility is decent, but she generally prefers a more controlled, less rapid style in her vocal transitions. Her agility is more about smooth, gradual changes rather than quick shifts. 5. Elisia (UNIS) Elisia’s agility is still developing and doesn’t quite match the others in terms of speed or complexity. Her vocal runs are pleasant but lack the intricacy seen in the top vocalists. Chest Voice: Dahyun (Triple S): Dahyun’s chest voice is powerful and resonant, with an edge that allows her to belt effectively in this range. Her control is exceptional, and she can sustain notes with richness and strength. Belle (KISS OF LIFE): Belle also shines here with vocal power and control. She’s able to belt with richness, though her chest voice is slightly more gentle than Dahyun’s, especially in a more dramatic context. Rami (BABYMONSTER): Rami’s chest voice is strong but more focused on agility. She’s not as powerful in this range compared to Dahyun or Belle, but her versatility in the way she blends her chest and head voice makes her stand out in terms of transitioning between registers. Elisia (UNIS): Elisia has an exceptionally full chest voice and is known for her resonance in this area. Her chest voice gives her more depth compared to Minju, and she can hold stronger, richer notes. This is one of her standout qualities and why I believe she deserves higher placement than Minju. Minju (Illit): Minju’s chest voice is gentler, and she doesn’t push for the same power or strength as the others. While her tone is still smooth, she doesn’t offer the same fullness or resonance in this range. Upper Register Ranking 1. Rami (BABYMONSTER) Reason: Rami's upper register stands out for its agility and power. She can transition seamlessly between chest and head voice, and her ability to hit high notes with stability is impressive. While Belle may have more resonance, Rami's flexibility and control in her head voice make her a top contender. She can move through registers effortlessly, and her high notes are both clear and controlled, making her a standout in terms of versatility. 2. Belle (KISS OF LIFE) Reason: Belle is equally strong in her upper register, particularly with her mixed voice. Her high notes are full and resonant, and she has excellent control over them. Belle's voice is powerful in the upper range, but where she excels most is in her ability to mix chest and head voice smoothly, giving her a rich, consistent tone throughout. While she might not be as agile as Rami, her resonance and control in her upper notes place her just slightly behind in the ranking.Tbh both Rami and Belle could be interchangeable depending on what part in the upper register we're looking at. Dahyun (Triple S): Dahyun’s upper range shines more than expected. She’s known for her powerful belting and ability to reach those high notes in a controlled manner, especially when performing ballads. While she may not be as agile as Rami, her resonance and ability to sustain high notes should elevate her higher here. Minju (Illit): Minju’s upper range is lighter and airier, but not as powerful as Belle or Dahyun. It’s a beautiful, delicate tone, but it’s not as strong or clear as the top 3. Elisia (UNIS): Elisia’s upper register is still developing and doesn’t have the same clarity or control as the others. However, she can still access high notes with resonance, but she lacks stability and strength in this area compared to the other vocalists.
Middle Register: 1.Rami (BABYMONSTER): Rami’s middle register is solid, with power and control that blends seamlessly with her high and low notes. Her mix voice is well-developed, allowing her to navigate the range with ease. 2.Dahyun (Triple S): Dahyun’s middle register is very powerful, especially when it comes to belting. Her ability to transition smoothly from chest voice into a controlled mix voice gives her the edge in this category. She holds a strong, resonant tone in this range, making her one of the top performers here. 3.Belle (KISS OF LIFE): Belle also has an incredible mix voice that blends her chest and head voices seamlessly. Her middle register is rich and controlled, and she can deliver full and powerful notes, though her belting strength might not be as pronounced as Dahyun's in this specific area. 4.Minju (Illit): Minju’s middle register is smooth and gentle, with a more airy quality. While it’s very controlled and consistent, it doesn’t have the same depth or resonance as Dahyun’s or Belle’s. Her transitions are natural, but she leans more toward a lighter style. 5.Elisia (UNIS): Elisia’s middle register is still developing and doesn’t yet have the power or depth of the others. Her mix voice is lighter and not as full, so she doesn’t quite stand out in this category yet. Lower Register Ranking 1. Dahyun (Triple S): Dahyun's lower register is solid and resonant, though it’s not as dominant as her middle and upper registers. She projects well in this range, and her belting ability allows her to blend effortlessly between registers, though she’s typically more known for her strength in other areas. Her lower register offers warmth and richness but is more controlled than forceful. 2. Belle (KISS OF LIFE): Belle has an impressive lower register for a K-pop vocalist, offering richness and depth when she sings in the lower part of her range. She tends to use this range effectively in ballads and slower songs where her voice can carry the emotion. Her lower notes are full and well-controlled, but the power isn’t as pronounced as in her upper register. 3. Rami (BABYMONSTER): Rami's lower register is deep and stable. She has the ability to sing in the lower part of her voice without losing clarity or resonance, but it’s not as full-bodied as Dahyun’s or Belle’s. She’s more agile in her middle and upper ranges, but her lower register still provides a solid foundation. 4. Elisia (UNIS): Elisia has a decent lower register that is full and rich, giving her a nice resonance in this range. It’s stable, but not as powerful as the top three. Her depth in this range is notable compared to Minju, but it’s not her standout strength compared to her chest voice or middle register. 5. Minju (Illit): Minju’s lower register is gentle and light, offering smoothness but lacking in the depth and resonance of the others. She doesn't have the power or richness in her lower notes and primarily relies on her upper and middle registers for expression.
Tone Quality Ranking 1. Belle (KISS OF LIFE): Belle's tone is one of the most rich and warm among this group. Her voice has a full, smooth quality that shines in ballads and softer songs, giving it an emotional depth. Her tone is versatile and can easily switch from soft and emotional to strong and powerful without losing its resonance. She has the kind of voice that can connect emotionally while maintaining a clear, controlled, and deep tone quality. 2. Dahyun (Triple S): Dahyun’s tone is resonant and strong, with a clear, rich quality that stands out in both her lower and upper registers. Her voice has a natural brightness that makes it incredibly engaging, especially when she belt. Her tone has richness and power, but it’s also clear enough to be heard even in the midst of high-energy performances. Dahyun’s voice is perfect for expressive and dramatic singing, especially in ballads, where she really conveys emotion through her clear, resonant tone. 3. Rami (BABYMONSTER): Rami’s tone is distinct and clear, with a bit of brightness that makes it stand out in the upper registers. Her voice is smooth, with the ability to add depth when needed, especially in softer parts of songs. Though she doesn’t have as deep or rich a tone as Belle or Dahyun, her voice is very polished, and she has a clean, vibrant quality that shines, especially when navigating higher pitches. It’s a tone that is versatile but doesn’t carry the same fullness as the top two. 4. Elisia (UNIS): Elisia’s tone is rich and full, particularly in her middle register and chest voice, which gives her a deep resonance. Her lower register is warm and powerful, and her voice has a certain earthy quality to it that adds richness to ballads or slower songs. While not as bright or crisp as some others, her tone is more rounded and full-bodied, which gives her an edge in emotional depth, especially in slower ballads. 5. Minju (Illit): Minju’s tone is gentle and airy, with a softer, lighter quality. It’s very ethereal and sweet, but it doesn’t have the depth or fullness of the others. While it’s pleasant and beautiful, especially in more delicate or emotional moments, her tone lacks the richness and warmth that would place her higher. Her voice is clear and pure, but doesn’t carry the weight or depth found in the other vocalists. Technique Ranking 1. Dahyun (Triple S): Technique: Dahyun's technique is exceptional, especially in belting and projecting her voice. She has incredible breath support, which allows her to hold and control notes with strength and clarity. Her ability to sing high-energy songs and maintain precision in her powerful chest voice and upper registers speaks volumes about her technique. Her smooth transitions between registers (particularly from chest to head voice) are well-controlled, making her very versatile in dynamic vocal delivery. Dahyun’s technique is built for both sustainability and power, giving her the edge here. Key Strengths: Excellent belting, dynamic range, breath support, and strong register transitions. She’s capable of both powerful performances and more controlled, emotive delivery. 2. Belle (KISS OF LIFE): Technique: Belle’s technique is polished, with a very smooth and controlled voice. While she might not belt as strongly as Dahyun, she compensates with excellent breath control and support. Belle’s technique is especially suited for more nuanced songs where control and delicate delivery matter. She has a great ability to sing long phrases without losing clarity, and her register transitions are smooth and seamless. Her upper register is also impressive, but her technique shines when it comes to precision and emotional delivery in gentler or more complex pieces. Key Strengths: Smooth transitions, strong breath control, precision, and delicate delivery. Her technique is well-suited for expressive and controlled performances. 3. Rami (BABYMONSTER): Technique: Rami is very technically skilled, especially in agility and precision. Her ability to execute quick runs and trills is impressive, showcasing control in higher registers and clear articulation. While she has excellent breath control for fast runs, her technique is not as focused on power or dynamic contrast compared to Dahyun or Belle. She has great technique in terms of upper register control and runs, but her lower registers don’t have the same strength or resonance as the other two. She shines in light, fast passages rather than full, sustained notes. Key Strengths: Vocal agility, upper register control, fast runs, and breath control. Her technique excels in complex vocal passages. 4. Elisia (UNIS): Technique: Elisia has a strong lower range and good chest voice support, which helps her project effectively in the lower registers. However, her technique can be a bit more inconsistent in the upper registers, and she sometimes faces more noticeable register breaks than others. Her transitions from chest to head voice are less seamless compared to Belle and Dahyun, but she still has a powerful and controlled lower range. Her technique is better suited for more powerful, grounded performances than for rapid agility or high-energy songs. Key Strengths: Powerful chest voice, strong lower range, and good breath control for slower, more powerful songs. She needs more work in the upper registers for smoother transitions. 5. Minju (Illit): Technique: Minju’s technique is delicate, and while she has solid control, it doesn’t have the same strength or power as the other vocalists here. Her voice shines in lighter, softer songs, where subtlety and control are more important. She may not have the same breath support or powerful range as the others, and her transitions between registers can sometimes be more noticeable. Minju’s technique is often more gentle and ethereal, relying less on dynamics and more on control in softer performances. Key Strengths: Delicate control, subtlety, and smooth transitions in gentler performances. Her technique excels in light and soft singing, but lacks the power and dynamic range of others.
Vocal Range Ranking 1. Dahyun (Triple S) Range: Dahyun has an extensive range, particularly for belting and high notes. Her chest voice is powerful, and her head voice is strong, allowing her to sing both low and very high notes with clarity and power. Low Range: Her low register is solid, though she’s known for her high-energy belting and high notes. High Range: Dahyun excels in her upper range, with a particularly strong belting ability and the ability to reach sustained high notes without strain. Her technique allows her to use this range with control, especially in ballads and high-energy songs. Overall: Very strong range with both low and high registers. 2. Belle (KISS OF LIFE) Range: Belle’s vocal range is also impressive, with the ability to sing both low and high notes. While she may not have the same extreme belting power as Dahyun, she has a solid high range and rich lower range that gives her flexibility. Low Range: Belle’s low register is resonant and controlled, which allows her to sing with depth in darker tones or more serious performances. High Range: Her upper range is impressive, though she typically uses a lighter sound than Dahyun when singing higher notes. Her high notes are clear and controlled, though not as powerful as Dahyun’s. Overall: Wide range, with a focus on control in both registers, but not quite as extreme in power. 3. Rami (BABYMONSTER) Range: Rami has a high range that stands out, especially for her upper register. She’s capable of hitting high notes with clarity and precision, making her suitable for songs that demand agility in the higher registers. Low Range: While her low range is decent, it doesn’t have the same resonance or power as the other vocalists. Her low notes aren’t as notable or robust compared to the more grounded voices. High Range: Her upper range is where she shines. She has the ability to hit sustained high notes and execute quick runs or agile passages with ease. Overall: Strong upper range but somewhat limited in the lower register. 4. Elisia (UNIS) Range: Elisia has a strong low range, with a powerful chest voice that allows her to sing deep notes with richness. Her high range is decent but less extensive compared to the others. Low Range: Elisia’s low notes are some of the best among these singers. Her chest voice is deep, full, and rich, giving her a grounded, powerful sound. High Range: While her upper register is not as strong as some of the others, she’s still able to hit high notes and maintain control without strain. Overall: A strong lower range but more limited in upper range compared to the other vocalists. 5. Minju (Illit) Range: Minju has a decent vocal range, but it is more limited compared to the others. She’s primarily known for her lighter, delicate tone, which works well for certain types of songs but isn’t as extensive in the low or high registers. Low Range: Minju’s low range is not particularly remarkable, and she doesn’t utilize her lower register as much as some of the other vocalists. High Range: Her high range is okay, but she doesn’t have the same sustained power or clarity as Dahyun or Belle in the higher notes. Overall: Limited range compared to the others, excelling in lighter, more delicate passages. So overall: 1. Dahyun (Triple S) - Most versatile, strong vocal range, and exceptional technique. 2. Belle (KISS OF LIFE) - Excellent control and precision, especially in upper register and technique. 3. Rami (BABYMONSTER) - Great upper range and vocal agility, but lacks strength in the lower register. 4. Elisia (UNIS) - Strong in the lower range, but upper register and transitions are less impressive. 5. Minju (Illit) - Great for delicate and light singing, but lacks power and range in comparison IT CAN'T GET MORE UNBIASED THAN THIS
Best wishes for all on this list. may the grow in strength, control, and expression, while keeping their vocal chords healthy! Note that Rami turn 17 in October of 2024, so she is not 18 yet. Also all of the videos that were analyzed were from when she was 15 or 16. As she grows more in stability and foundation, she will continue to become more impressive. Also I noticed you did not mention her whistle register (heard for a moment in Christmas without you).
Rora was actually originally meant to be part of this analysis because, standard-wise, she meets the main vocal requirements. However, for the sake of uniformity, I chose to go with the strongest vocalist from each group.
Well-founded technical analysis is always welcome. All the singers shown in the video are very good and will still have time to improve if their groups, or themselves, do not disappear from the music scene (we all know how fickle South Korean entertainment agencies are). We are also clear that high artistic quality in the handling of the voice is not always the key to success, since this also depends on the proper handling of the artists by the agencies, and there are even performers who, without having achieved technical excellence, through an acceptable interpretative quality, a very good performance on stage and a great innate charisma, can achieve greater success than some extraordinary singers.
Surprise! Who do you think is THE most well-rounded vocalist on this list?

Agree with the insight, especially with Elisia. She's actually a fan of runs and riffs; it's just that she's been expanding her capability to improve her belting lately.
waiting for the time elisia can showcase her riffs and runs
Elisia's vocal voice is clear and heavenly to listen to. Just wait when she'll have an opportunity to show her vocal techniques more in the future.
She's only 15 but her way of singing's was like expressing the message of the song above all her facial expressions while singing never disappoint that's why I can't help but to listen to her repeatedly.
Elisia is really a vocal monster. She can sing anything!
She did musical theatre.
I can't believe Elisia is on this list, awesome review by the way, I love your honest analysis, very complete and detailed , I hope the Idols on this list could see this, because it would be very beneficial for them, I've learned alot 😄
im glad you found the analysis helpful and detailed. Elisia’s inclusion is well-deserved, especially since she’s improving so fast and showing incredible growth. as for the idols seeing this, it would truly be an honor. thank you so much for your kind words and support!
also, the fact that Elisha is the only non-Korean here makes it beneficial to highlight the effect of adjusting one’s technique and style to a different genre, as well as training in a way that differs from what they have grown accustomed to
@@EKCristobal I agree, you know what, I did'nt have the slightest Idea the adjustment she needed to do adopt to kpop techniques, same goes to Gehlee, kudos to both of them 😀
@EKCristobal just quick correction Elisha is one of the 4 non Korean,
she just told that
i'm happy to see Elisia! She's amazing!
and she’s amazingly improving so fast
OMG I was unexpectedly drawn to your insights to every artist mentioned when I came only for Elisia
that's good to hear
of course who could forget Elisia, the girl will be a very successful Solo popstar
I saw Elisia of UNIS on the thumbnail, I clicked!
salamat po
Finally, someone can deeply analyze Elisia's vocal technique.
Great analysis. All of them so talented at such young ages. Rami is going to be a legend!
thank you
@ i know i dont say she is weak bruh
@@crisezekielestrada8401 nah I'm not saying she's weak, but that's her weakness. I think her high notes arent really good compared to the other vocalists here except Minju, but maybe her style makes the verse so easy to listen to but hitting high notes would be more difficult if she still used that style to hit highnote. Raw data is really difficult

imho elisia is top technical singer in 5th gen. in this video analysis and to summary: elisia downside are higher notes and nasality but her upside are technique, clarity, enunciation, emotion, expression, youth and potential
elisia’s technique is really good!
yeah, it is true
Elisia's voice is like a drug to me it's so heavenly and so nice to the ears.
Belle's voice on the other hand is cold to the feeling that makes you shiver and mesmerized. They're my favorite vocalists in 5th gen along with Rami
Elisia is only 15yrs. old but her vocal skills is amazing!!!! That's why she got main vocalist position in her group which is UNIS!!!
@@Marcondirondirondello mayu also gets Main vocal lines sometimes

Eli can use her head tone well. One example was their performance cover of "Way 4 Luv" when they were harmonizing at the end. I believe she was the one doing the higher note there. 😊
further exploration of her head tones will make her develop them more

I am studying English, and I love watching videos about vocals, especially those featuring K-pop idols. This video is very useful, and the creator doesn't excessively praise any of their favorites, which often diminishes the informative value of the video or even leads to misinformation. Kudos to the author! 👀🙌👏
thank you so much
Rami just turned 17 in October.
Damn I just realized Im really into vocals cuz all of my biases per group are here ❤ nice and fair analysis btw 👍 appreciate your effort ❤

@@EKCristobal oh okay thanks

Rami the top notch vocalist ❤
Thank you for including Minju. Illit aren't as "vocal" as the other groups of their generation, but I think that their vocals still perfectly work together. They have great chemistry, and sometimes you don't necessarily want to hear someone flex their incredible riffs and high notes, but have a nice soothing voice. They were off to a rough start but anyone who watches them knows that they are more than capable, and that what happened that one time isn't proof of their abilities. I wish one day people realize that they're very talented.

after hearing all the screaming.. eli's healing voice saved my ears.

I remember some everafters saying this to seowon that "she's just screaming" and pd should give the high notes to elisia. So no surprise that an everafter would say this lol.

My SeoDa is Seo dang good ♥️♥️
Its ok that Ellie doesn't have super high range, she already has more than enough range as an idol.

SO UNIQUE, AMAZING AND CHARISMATIC VOCAL QUALITY OF RAMI (BABYMONSTER)
Eli ❤❤❤❤
Agility Ranking
1. Belle (KISS OF LIFE)
Belle’s ability to execute quick, clean runs and fast transitions is exceptional, making her the most agile vocalist in this list. She combines agility with control, particularly in her upper register, where she shines.
2. Rami (BABYMONSTER)
Rami's agility is also outstanding, particularly with her complex vocal runs and transitions. However, Belle’s versatility and the ease with which she navigates her range give her a slight edge in this area.
3. Minju (Illit)
Minju has solid agility, but she tends to focus more on stability and tone rather than speed and complexity in runs. While she’s capable, her agility doesn’t reach the same level as Rami or Belle.
4. Dahyun (Triple S)
Dahyun's agility is decent, but she generally prefers a more controlled, less rapid style in her vocal transitions. Her agility is more about smooth, gradual changes rather than quick shifts.
5. Elisia (UNIS)
Elisia’s agility is still developing and doesn’t quite match the others in terms of speed or complexity. Her vocal runs are pleasant but lack the intricacy seen in the top vocalists.
Chest Voice:
Dahyun (Triple S): Dahyun’s chest voice is powerful and resonant, with an edge that allows her to belt effectively in this range.
Upper Register Ranking
1. Rami (BABYMONSTER)
Reason: Rami's upper register stands out for its agility and power.
2. Belle (KISS OF LIFE)
Reason: Belle is equally strong in her upper register, particularly with her mixed voice.
Middle Register:
1.Rami (BABYMONSTER): Rami’s middle register is solid, with power and control that blends seamlessly with her high and low notes.
Lower Register Ranking
1. Dahyun (Triple S):
Dahyun's lower register is solid and resonant, though it’s not as dominant as her middle and upper registers. She projects well in this range, and her belting ability allows her to blend effortlessly between registers, though she’s typically more known for her strength in other areas. Her lower register offers warmth and richness but is more controlled than forceful.
2. Belle (KISS OF LIFE):
Belle has an impressive lower register for a K-pop vocalist, offering richness and depth when she sings in the lower part of her range. She tends to use this range effectively in ballads and slower songs where her voice can carry the emotion. Her lower notes are full and well-controlled, but the power isn’t as pronounced as in her upper register.
3. Rami (BABYMONSTER):
Rami's lower register is deep and stable. She has the ability to sing in the lower part of her voice without losing clarity or resonance, but it’s not as full-bodied as Dahyun’s or Belle’s. She’s more agile in her middle and upper ranges, but her lower register still provides a solid foundation.
4. Elisia (UNIS):
Elisia has a decent lower register that is full and rich, giving her a nice resonance in this range. It’s stable, but not as powerful as the top three. Her depth in this range is notable compared to Minju, but it’s not her standout strength compared to her chest voice or middle register.
5. Minju (Illit):
Minju’s lower register is gentle and light, offering smoothness but lacking in the depth and resonance of the others. She doesn't have the power or richness in her lower notes and primarily relies on her upper and middle registers for expression.
Tone Quality Ranking
1. Belle (KISS OF LIFE):
Belle's tone is one of the most rich and warm among this group.
2. Dahyun (Triple S):
Dahyun’s tone is resonant and strong, with a clear, rich quality that stands out in both her lower and upper registers.
3. Rami (BABYMONSTER):
Rami’s tone is distinct and clear, with a bit of brightness that makes it stand out in the upper registers.
4. Elisia (UNIS):
Elisia’s tone is rich and full, particularly in her middle register and chest voice, which gives her a deep resonance. Her lower register is warm and powerful, and her voice has a certain earthy quality to it that adds richness to ballads or slower songs. While not as bright or crisp as some others, her tone is more rounded and full-bodied, which gives her an edge in emotional depth, especially in slower ballads.
5. Minju (Illit):
Minju’s tone is gentle and airy, with a softer, lighter quality.
Technique Ranking
1. Dahyun (Triple S):
Technique: Dahyun's technique is exceptional, especially in belting and projecting her voice.
2. Belle (KISS OF LIFE):
Technique: Belle’s technique is polished, with a very smooth and controlled voice.
3. Rami (BABYMONSTER):
Technique: Rami is very technically skilled, especially in agility and precision.
4. Elisia (UNIS):
Technique: Elisia has a strong lower range and good chest voice support, which helps her project effectively in the lower registers.
5. Minju (Illit):
Technique: Minju’s technique is delicate, and while she has solid control, it doesn’t have the same strength or power as the other vocalists here.
Vocal Range Ranking
1. Dahyun (Triple S)
Range: Dahyun has an extensive range, particularly for belting and high notes.
2. Belle (KISS OF LIFE)
Range: Belle’s vocal range is also impressive, with the ability to sing both low and high notes.
3. Rami (BABYMONSTER)
Range: Rami has a high range that stands out, especially for her upper register.
4. Elisia (UNIS)
Range: Elisia has a strong low range, with a powerful chest voice that allows her to sing deep notes with richness.
5. Minju (Illit)
Range: Minju has a decent vocal range, but it is more limited compared to the others.
So overall:
5. Minju (Illit) - Great for delicate and light singing, but lacks power and range in comparison
IT CAN'T GET MORE UNBIASED THAN THIS
Respect to the person who read through all of this

Best wishes for all on this list. may the grow in strength, control, and expression, while keeping their vocal chords healthy!
Note that Rami turn 17 in October of 2024, so she is not 18 yet. Also all of the videos that were analyzed were from when she was 15 or 16.
As she grows more in stability and foundation, she will continue to become more impressive.
Also I noticed you did not mention her whistle register (heard for a moment in Christmas without you).
wanted to cater live material as much as possible
Belle Rami Dahyun and also Rora will carry vocal line for 5th gen
Rora was actually originally meant to be part of this analysis because, standard-wise, she meets the main vocal requirements. However, for the sake of uniformity, I chose to go with the strongest vocalist from each group.
@EKCristobal indeed I understandt your choice from the get go. Honestly pretty good analysis and well written
@@nomiyahere3466 thank you
Well-founded technical analysis is always welcome.
