Wow, I never thought I would see the day where I would say that Pro Tool's scene/clips are way more useful than the ones in the DAW that started it all.
With pro tools there is a simple timeline at the top of all the clips and you drag and drop each group in the order you want them to automatically play. You can arrange an entire song just from the clip launcher.

Hi! Thanks a lot for your video. I have a doubt. I have a novation Launchpad mini and when I launch the next scene it’s playing immediately. I want it to launch the next scene after one bar. How do I do it? Please explain the details. It would be of tremendous help.

Not in an arsey way, but just trying to make sense here. I write orchestral stuff, and mostly use live instruments for other stuff, this is more geared toward folk using samples, is that correct? I've always felt I'm missing out on something with these Clip Scenes, but I don't need to know it then I can save the mental space for the other billion things you need to know in mmusic productions, haha (I'm old, it's tough enough!).

I tend to use the clips and scenes as a sketch pad. Then move them to the Arrangement view. Plenty of people just work in the Arrangement view. The beauty of it is you can use Live in the way that best suits you! Even if you’re old like us.

Hi tnx for ur great job! I m using ableton to run my clip audio and my clip audio are the whole songs with a click for the drummer and other instrument except guitar bass and drum (the band play over the base). I wonder in case if there is a way to stop a clip immediately at one point and restart the single CLIP from that point I stopped before. I used to use digital performer to do that before but I'd like to pass to Abletone cause the DP is so expensive to use it only as a luncher!!! Tnx

In which video do you go further into merging clips with the arrangement? Trying to figure out how to do that as a novice is pretty rough😏 Thanks!

Funny enough I am in the same boat as you... ahahaha did you find any other helpful videos? I found a couple...

@@ironjuice8447 I haven’t yet, but I did figure out how to merge clips into the arrangement: copy + paste it where you want it in the other view🤷🏻‍♀️ Try it! Worked out well for me. Except then since I don’t know what I’m doing, I did that like a million times to create the full track I was trying to make😂
