Soleil, I think that your neighbors are so lucky to have you living right next door. Especially the one where you plant things in their side flower bed. I would love to be your next-door neighbor! Have a fun week! ~Margie
Your garden beds are spectacular ❤️ You have such a large variety of plants. I don’t think I have ever seen Hardy Geraniums as big and tall as yours. All your weigelas are so beautiful and your hostas are amazing. I loved the tour❤️❤️❤️
Love your new pots & obelisks they’re going to be gorgeous in the border 💕 grey/blue is my favourite colour to wear 😀 everything is looking so beautiful Soleil and combined together beautifully, you’re Hosta bed is amazing when I saw it the other day I promised myself to do a Hosta, Heuchera border, I love how we get ideas from each other 🌸💕🌸
We are in Need of some rain 🌧 here in Western Massachusetts, the soil is like dust , a lot of plants are flowering none the less. Your gardens look so fresh, they got a good drink of rainwater
I am in awe of your garden!! I am just stunned how much you have packed in there and it looks like you planned it all. Tell me your secrets - do you just throw stuff in and move it later if needed? I try to give it the space but am constantly battling weeds everywhere!! I especially like your fence as a backdrop. We have a bushline and it makes it really hard because it's all green! Love your videos!
Always so wonderful to see your garden! As a fellow zone 5b Michigander, I can draw lots of knowledge and inspiration from what you do to apply it in my own garden. Thanks for the great content, and your gardens are spectacular and a joy to see😊🌹🌲🏵🌼🌸
Your garden is flourishing! Gorgeous, love the pinks, purples and blues! Love the rock borders, looks so natural,I actually used the same in my front yard, for a natural look,Really like that curved planting around that birdbath, looks so pretty! Happy gardening, Have a Great day!🌺🌸🌿💐🥰
I really enjoyed the tour. Your garden is in its spring highlight. So beautiful. Especially those hosta and hukeras (sp?). I agree, what a beautiful world which we live.
Hi, I really love your garden and I'm going to try your idea of keeping the grass back a bit from the rock's it looks really tidy, thank you for sharing.
Hi Soleil I didn’t realize that I was unsubscribed to your channel ugh. I got a new ipad and when the data was transferred it lost a lot of my channels. So glad I just resubcribed🤗🤗. Still watching but I know the garden will be beautiful 🤩💚
I agree that the 'way back garden' was a great choice for where you moved that carex. It looks like it grew there all by itself, which is what we want right? It is so nice that you have that extra space. I think you folks deserve to have such lovely plants for having to put up with the amount of humidity you have, it would be hard for me. 😰😉
I was happy to see you have some Dame’s Rocket in one of your beds💕 I got a couple of volunteer Dame’s Rocket along a narrow strip of woodland we have at the bottom of the garden, blooming beautifully right now, and I didn’t know what they were so googled it, and all I got was that it’s invasive and I should pull it out. They should be all right if I stay on top of them, right? Your hostas are amazing😍 I used to be ambivalent about hostas, but your videos have made me appreciate them so much that I bought quite a few bare roots this year and put them in the shadier areas. They’re tiny, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed some make it and I can enjoy them in years to come. I have to seriously treat all my roses - they are being completely eaten up by sawfly larvae! Never had so much damage so I have to get out there first thing tomorrow morning and spray them before the bees get busy. Wishing you a good Memorial Day weekend!🌿🌹❣️
Yes, if you deadhead before they set seed you can avoid problems as I have done that or years with my dames rocket. I hope your hostas thrive for you!🤗🌺🌳🏵
I like the bed edge without the grass. I wish I had no grass. Lol But I live in a mobile home park so they would frown on that. Lol I noticed one small flower starting on my Black Lace Elderberry so I'm happy. I love the purple Clematis with the poofy center. It reminds me of my pink Josephine Clematis. I'm in zone 5B in Maine so my things seem to be coming up in a similar time frame to yours. Do you have Lupines? Mine are blooming like crazy. An exiting time..
I wish I could grow lupines, but I think they hate my soil. Clematis is so fun, I have added more every year because it takes up such little space. 🤗🌷🌼🌿
Thanks or joining,Pamela! The hostas are in shade and part sun. Some hostas have a little sun tolerance and those are the ones in part sun, but I agree in the south it probably wouldn't work!😄🌷🌸🪴
Lovely garden. What type of mulch do you use? Which sun hosta is your favorite? Love that you have a plant test area. I should really try this. I deal with a large black walnut tree which causes problems with some plants.
Thanks, Kay! I use ground hard wood bark and it is quite the good stuff. I get it from a local landscape supply company delivered in bulk! I really like August Moon and Patriot Hosta for sunnier areas 🙃🪴🌸🌹
So pretty. Love the stepping stones and rocks among the plants. Very natural but orderly. I saw some wild violets and wondered what you do to control them. They're growing like weeds in my garden. Should I let them go?
They do proliferate readily. Personally, I just remove them when they are infringing on other plants I have. There are just too many to try to weed them all and they are a good ground cover that I prefer over other weeds.🥰🌱🌷🍀
Is your rhododendron in sun or shade. I assume shade because they are so close to the hostas. My neighbour has two in the shady, northside. Haven’t grown much? 🤔🌸🌿
Yes, I have eaten many things that most probably haven't and chive flowers are good! I think the big heuchera you are asking about is the mega caramel! 🙃💐🌼🌻
I love your garden. I also have plenty of big rocks which I’m using around my beds as you. How do you keep the grass out of the rocks? It’s mine constant difficulty to pull grass between rocks. Thank you!
I love the retractable and long hose! The length I got has a little narrower diameter that some of the others they have so keep that inind depending on how much flow you want they have wider diameters and narrower ones. 🥰🪴🏵💮
@@Suburbanoasis Good to know, thanks. The brand that’s always pushed is so expensive, but the other ones out there seem so flimsy, so I’m glad to see there’s a middle ground.

Thanks so much Shelle!🥰🌼🌻💐
