    The greatest achievement of The Lincoln Project to date...aside from hilarious ads... preventing Trump engaging GOP sympathetic law firms representing him .... defanging an insurrectionist is essential...

    Anybody know of any bookies taking bets on the outcome of this court case ?
    I'd bet not guilty.

    thank you, Anna Bauer, for expressing doubt about the second crime evidence. I have been struggling to understand how this is a felony. I do think there is misdemeanor evidence, but I think it gets very hard to get to felony. And I despise Trump. But this also raises--are they going to have a lesser included offense charge in the jury instructions?

    • @TisDana

      They should have brought an expert on campaign finance law to tie it to the felony.

      @@TisDanawhat If Trump's lawyers had asked the expert "Could the Trump Campaign have paid Stormy and reported that as a legitimate campaign expense, legally?" Bye bye case

    Non disclosure agreements are not illegal. Just ask CNN, in fact all of those networks do them all of the time.

    Anna in this podcast proves how much smarter she is then the two men . It's not enough that they intended to do XYZ which violated abc law, they had to KNOW it was illegal.

  • @joshuawattles3805
    @joshuawattles3805 Месяц назад

    From what I have read, much from you guys, I believe they have established that at the time Cohen made the payment for Stormy, T intended to have options afforded by that channel instead of paying from campaign funds or T's personal funds. The fact he wanted options might be enough to fill in the intent Anna Bower is concerned about.

    • @bassplayinben
      @bassplayinben Месяц назад

      So you're saying he knew two legal ways to pay Stormy but wanted to use an illegal way instead? Or was he just trying to keep the NDAs existence a secret?

  • @deborahpitcher7723

    Question for anyone paying close attention to this LawFare business. What happnes when the exact same Lawfare is played on you? Don't think you'll be exempt from this type of unconstitutional interpretation of the law. I bet you'll be the first to cry Wolf ?

      Ben made an offhand comment 3 weeks ago about the “whatever charges the government wants to throw at you”. None of these Lawfare lawyers care about that in the least because they hate Trump so much. But it’s chilling.

    You’re no different than any of these other millions of people who find an excuse for Donald Trump not to be the criminal that he clearly is. It’s disgusting.
