Craftsman 2 gallon Shop Vac Stopped Working

Warning! Unplug your shop vac and make sure the power switch is in the "O" position before doing this. My Craftsman 2 gallon shop vac stopped working and before I threw it away I felt like trying to find the problem. After removing the motor (which was easy to do) I could feel that one of the wires that was covered in black shrink-wrap felt flimsy. After removing the shrink-wrap covering I found a break and that was my problem. Good luck.
