    I made the mistake of running my shop-vac without a filter and this video is the only one that mentions the motor filter and how easy it is to fix. My vac works perfectly now. Thank you!

    Thanks a million! I am a 74 year Old woman and didn't want to spend the money for a new one. Thank you again for helping me repair it! The suction is wonderful. The second filter was really dirty

    going to try this out now on my 9 gallon Craftsman shop vac that just recently started making a very high pitched motor noise, and suction not as strong. Great presentation. Thanks!

    I have the same vacuum and I have found if you seal the mating edge on the top of the orange tub and the top with a weather strip seal you can gain a lot of suction also. I used a cheap rubber seal from Home Depot and I have gotten much better suction out of it.

    Thanks for the video Eric. As always, very helpful. Maybe the hole was caused by someone banging it against something!😂

    Great job Garden Fork! I've not found another person/group (including Ridgid) that mentions that secondary "catch-all" internal filter; that's definitely my problem, as I have a brand new "outside" filte,r and the inside one is as dirty and clogged as can be. I wonder what that filter is called, as I can not find anything replacing it. My bigger problem though is that the 3 Philips screws that you show keeping it in place are rusted and indistinguishable when it comes to screw type on my vac. I cannot get seem to get them out! Any suggestion?

    You are wondering about the holes in it, Eric ? Dont use is as a Hammer !
    Construction-Site-Workers know, that PAPER-Filters like this are best cleaned with medium hard Brushes and compressed Air.
    Everything "above" them causes Damages, and these Filters are not really cheap here in Germany.
    I thought that your cute little Helpers would tell you that....... :-)

    That is a cyst on your forehead my dad had one and had it lanced and drained.

    • @mguerramd
      @mguerramd Год назад

      You can’t “lance and drain” a cyst. It will just re form. The cyst wall produces the fluid. The cyst with its wall must be removed in total. You can open and drain an abscess, however.

    need dust bag~!!

  • @0nemoa
    @0nemoa 3 месяца назад

    You know if you just bought a bag you’d be like golden and you can reuse the bags you cut them open empty them out and you clip them back up with those really tight black clips and like three spots you folded a couple times it ain’t and then you got your bag for a good few times and then you don’t have to like literally like your filter never gets dirty ever Like basically basically I mean very fine fine like like like cement, dust and like drywall but then you were talking like you can use the same filter for a good 10 years if you use bags just take out the bag when you’re gonna do wet shit put the wet filter in and then put the bag back in Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah grab a filter on Amazon 15 bucks don’t use those white ones. They’re not getting good. Just use a bag and then you don’t gotta go through all this inside of your vacuum is so dirty and wretched. It would not be that way with you eat off the freaking inside of the vacuum. If you had a bag in there, I’m telling you man telling you to help out like this is madness

      Usually there is a drain port at the bottom of the bucket, and if that is not plugged up by a drain cap (that usually comes with the unit) there will be no suction.
